Zaxby's does not honor their advertised promos. Local store inept to do anything. BOGO special only permits nuggets for the order although traditional is listed. Oh! Simply reading the ticket would have made this experience better. I asked for no slaw...salad was full of slaw. Citrus vin should have been the dressing. Nope. It was lite vin which I didn't request and doesn't even come with the salad normally. *sigh* Doesn't matter how tasty your food is, if simple service sucks. This was a delivery order, so no way to get it corrected promptly. Oh and they forgot the wonton strips on top that come with it. So there's that. On 6/5/2026 my husband and I decided we wanted Zaxbys for dinner we go there at 10:15 the line was long and we decided we'd wait. At about 10:40 we finally got to order and were told if we did not place an online order we could not be serviced. I asked why isn't there a sign up to let people know because we've waited a long time. The girl said verbatim " there's nothing i could do about that with the nastiest attitude. First of all, I can understand the wait of the business was actually busy. The wait was ridiculous considering we ordered through the app and arrived there to have our food before we had to meet up with family. Ordered at about 2:12pm and arrived around 2:20pm, we didn't get our food until 2:48pm. I saw people come in after and order their food and walk out with it before we got ours. Now, let's talk about the service or lack of. These people didn't care about anything or anytime. There was an older woman working behind the register who was huffing and puffing and didn't try to engage at all. There was a young man who came in to order and sat there a good 5-7 min and when she finally acknowledged him she asked if he was picking up and he said "I'd like to order" and she gave the largest huff and said what you want. Went to Zaxbys last night through the drive-thru as they are still not open for dine in service. The line went through somewhat fast however, we had to wait in the parking lot for our food for about 10 minutes. We got 2 chicken sandwiches and then fries. The fry serving was pretty small and barely filled the box and wasn't that hot to be honest. The chicken sandwich itself was delicious but we didn't get ketchup like we asked for on the side so that was frustrating. If the service was better and portion size of the fries more reasonable and hot I would've provided 4 stars so I'm knocking them a star for that. read more

Today, a group from our church (about 25) went to Denny's in Thomasville for lunch. We had made reservations about a month ago that were again confirmed 3 days ago. Today when we arrived we were turned away and told they couldn't accommodate us. There were 6 cars in their parking lot. On short notice we went to Zaxbys, also in Thomasville where we were welcomed with open arms. Our service was spectacular. Mr. Joe, the manager, personally came over and told us how glad he was to see us. He led us in singing Amazing Grace. He offered to bring us refills, condiments or anything we needed. He was joyful and exceptionally kind. I wanted to let my Christian friends be aware of the difference of treatment of these two establishments. We will not return to Dennys. read more

They forgot to toast my bread, and my fries tasted like they had been left overnight and throw in a microwave. They started really strong but lately (2018/2019) the service seems to deteriorate. The workers are short and rude. And the quality of food varies too. I went inside of the store, they were laughing, cursing with one another and said, "we saw you pulling off we were trying to adjust the head piece. Not sure what happened." Weird, I know. I had their Zaxby's Club, which is a breaded and fried chicken breast (I don't think they have anything that's not fried) with bacon and cheese and lettuce and tomato on the most unhealthy and delicious Texas toast. With a big pile of crunchy fries. There was a pickle under there somewhere but by the time i had uncovered it, I wasn't interested. It was delicious and I ate every bite of the sandwich, mopping up a decent amount of ketchup with the tasty fries. Yum.
