How does a chicken restaurant run out of chicken? If you want to know the answer, come here and ask. Every week this store is out of something. Coleslaw, fries, egg rolls, lettuce, tomatoes, always something. Last night (5/14) they were out of everything on their menu at 8:30pm except wings and fries. This place was bad before and had gotten so much better, I actually enjoyed coming here after working late, but over the last few months it is getting worse by the week. Don't blame being busy, you aren't that busy that you run out of all products. Stop with the excuses. You don't know how to order or the District Manager is holding them back from ordering to boast daily/week/monthly/quarter numbers to make their figures look good. Or there is just bad management again that do not know how to anticipate guest numbers, check your inventory numbers to project you might be running low especially at the end of the week, or prepping for the day. Probably time to lock the doors to this place again. There were three groups of guests walk out and numerous pulling away from the drive through. Ran into other people at Cookout that were told the same thing. One couple said they stopped coming here because of the problems, thought they would try again. They said they will never be back. I normally spend $30-$40 on each trip and have gotten use to asking what are you out of today, but this, nope, not happening. Won't be back for a long while. Cookout is open until 2am. read more

Worst Zaxby's I've ever been at, the soda machine had no carbonation, I was not given ketchup and when I went to the front desk to wait on catch up, I stood there eight minutes and no one acknowledged me. Would not recommend. read more

I'm from Dillon, SC and I have loved our Zaxby's since I was a little girl. But once they opened this Zaxby's location after having to rebuild, I have been 7 times. Each time I've ordered anything with chicken, I've had extremely painful stomach aches. I have friend's who have had the same experience and I've heard they do not follow proper heating procedures/do not separate the unprepared food properly. read more

We placed two online orders to this restaurant today and showed up to pickup our food. There was a sign saying the dining room was open but the doors were locked. We got in line for the drive through and waited for over 20 minutes. After finally pulling up to the window, we realized there was nobody at the location. Made an online order and my husband went to pick it up. It was stolen and the manager did nothing to try to help us. She then told us she watched the people steal the food and didn't even bother to ask them for verification of the orders name. Terrible service, luckily corporate helped us out! Once you hit South Carolina from the north east you'll start seeing Zaxby's. There is a deep need within me to just stop because of the lack of availability where we come from but then I get there and remember why I need to stop at least once on my trip. The food here is so simple and yet so good. The chicken is crisp but tender. The sauces are flavorful. The fries are seasoned well. Everything just clicks at Zaxby's. The service is very laid back because we are in the South which is the only reason I haven't given 5 stars but that's the only drawback I have towards eating in. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a smile and quickly. I had never been to a Zaxbys, so the menu was a bit daunting... But I worked through it I ordered the "wings and things" (photo attached), which was about 6 wings, 4 tenders, fries, texas toast and come celery... Not the cheapest item, but I wanted to try what they had... To be honest, the wings were VERY good, which is weird considering it was a "fast food". The paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms are empty. Most of the flavorings in the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine are empty. Chicken fingers were good but fries were over cooked and toast was cold. We went inside this Zaxby's, since the DT line was about 6 cars deep. It was 7pm on a Sunday night so we'd expect it to be busy but this place was a hot mess. We ordered our food and while fixing drinks, there was no sweet tea or ketchup at the self-service counter. After about 15 mins of waiting, I took my daughter back to the car with our drinks and my husband finally returned with our food. We ordered 3 snak meals, a kiddie finger and a club meal and we were missing a snak meal and they gave me a Cajun club instead of what I ordered. My husband went back inside and they made it right but it was not a great experience. With all of the choice at this exit, this place really needs to get it together. read more

I come through here every week or every other week and stop as I like Zaxby's salads. Every single time they mess my order up so today I am reaching out.... no salad dressing this time--- this has happened me twice now, time before Last no fork to eat salad, last week sweet tea versus unsweet. Salad bowl is really a plate, it must have been carefully designed to look like a bowl but it was only one inch deep. Therefore just a tiny amount of lettuce was provided along with some commercially processed chicken that was too salty to eat. Felt like purging afterwards. read more

Took 25 minutes to get through the drive thru with MAYBE 5 cars in front of us. Person taking orders told us to order when we were ready then proceeded to tell us to hold on a second after we got through half our order. We ordered pretty basic stuff, a five finger plate and a nibblers meal. I received no Cole slaw with the finger plate meal and didn't get the extra Zax sauce we requested. The fries were not seasoned practically at all. The nibblers we got were covered in sauce, bun and all. You can tell that they are not cleaning their fryers because the chicken tasted like dirty old oil. We have gotten way better service at other Zaxby's locations. This place needs help. read more
