This was my first time experiencing a Zaxby's. Because the Wings & Things platter is a sampler I opted for this. It consists of 5 boneless wings in the sauce if your choice, three chicken fingers, celery sticks, seasoned french fries, and Texas toast. We also ordered a side of Cole slaw, spicy fried mushrooms, and white cheddar cheese nuggets. The Cole slaw was very good. We would definitely have the mushrooms again. We didn't care for the cheese nuggets that are served with a marinara sauce ( which is great for kids since it is full of sugar). The boneless wings were very good with my choice of sweet and spicy sauce. Their chicken tenders are probably one of the best I have had. I think the french fries are seasoned with just a dusting of Season Salt but are tasty. Overall I would definitely eat here again. So if you pass by one in the Northern part of the county, stop in and try it. read more

Bait and switch... went there today and they tried to charge me more than what was advertised. The drive through board said #2 6 Fingerz plate was $11.69, got to the window and got the receipt and saw it was $12.49. I understand there's inflation going on, prices are going up, but if you knew prices were going up wouldn't you change your prices to let the customers know. Don't give a story that corporate changed the prices and you haven't had time to change the signage. Then argue with me that it's also the taxes that drove the price up. It's not so much the $1 increase it's the fact that management knew things went up and didn't change the signage, admitted they knew, and still wouldn't honor the price they still had up. Need to do better and what I got went up $1 but what's the actual price for everything else? Be up front and honest, and if you have the new signage put it up and let people know what they're going to be spending. Anyone else that's gone to this location check your receipts and see if they charged you differently from what's advertised. read more

I went with my girlfriend when we were vacationing in Florida. We were amazed with the service at the counter from who I believe was Debra, she was the sweetest and nicest person I have ever met at a fast food restaurant. She asked us about our trip at the counter and when she saw our cheese bites come out, she thought they looked burnt so she had the kitchen make two more orders to replace ours since she thought they weren't up to par. My first visit to Zaxby's was a fairly good one! I had a house salad with tossed tenders. The tenders were tossed in the sweet and spicy sauce. The sauce was delicious but I thought it was strange that they charge extra for tossed tenders. This placed earned 3 stars because I thought it was expensive for what I got. My salad and drink was over $10. In addition my salad did not come with toast that was pictured. I assumed they forgot to add the toast. My son and I love Zaxby's. we've been in person a dozen orso times since moving to the area. I love the salads and he likes the chicken. Our problem is not with the food, but the service. in person the service is slow. We've also ordered using doordash 3 times and all 3 times our order was wrong, either missing items or just sent the wrong items. I used to love this location but today I was very disappointed. They took at least 5 minutes to run my card going back & forth between employees . Okay fine no big deal. Maybe he was being trained. I understand but what I'm upset about is my time & money being wasted as I didn't have more time to wait after the 8 minute wait for my sandwich . Horrible dried out tenders and even worse customer service. I went to Zaxby's because I had a free sandwich coupon and wanted to try it. The coupon was for a free Zaxby's kickin chicken sandwich with the purchase of a meal. The sauce on my sandwich was tongue torch (one of their hottest sauces.) For that reason, I asked if I could have the wimpy sauce instead. They said that the sauce they put on the sandwich is not hot, so ok. At the window, I probably asked 3 different times if the sauce was spicy, just to verify, and the lady said no. Come home to find out the sandwich is extremely spicy and dry. It's sad when a chain restaurant can't live up to some of the other restaurants in the family. I travel around Florida and the south and always stop into a Zaxby's when I see one. I was excited to see one around the corner from my house, so I stopped in. The inside decor is like all he rest. What sets this one apart form the others is the service. It's horrible. In the middle of taking my order, the cashier walked away to pack up another order. Upon hearing my number called, I walked up to the counter and the cashier handed me a tray. The only problem was, my order was to go. After taking the tray back and packing it up, I asked for an additional sauce. The cashier told me it was going to be $.25. Ha ha. Good customer service. Zaxbys has a reputation of having different tasting chicken at different locations. This particular Zaxbys never fails to disappoint. The chicken is wonderful quality.. as soon as you bite into it the flavorful juiciness of the chicken surrounds your taste buds in a satisfying way. I pay for extra sauce- because the Zax Sauce is such a hit. They always give the sauce in the big quantities I order and I never have an issue with any of my order being wrong. Today I tried the fried pickles and I must say they were DELICIOUSLY breaded and Reminded me of the fair. This location is busy on occasion and they seem to be on their A game as they move through orders. I ordered the 20 piece tender family meal. All pieces of chicken were juicy and hearty. Other locations I've been too had stringy chicken- but NOT THIS LOCATION. To be honest with you, and I will not lie on this one. Zaxbys has officially replaced PDQ, Chick Fi La, and any other chicken place(not including Popeyes cause that sandwich is FIRE AND ITS HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH)... The fries are crinkle cut and fried to perfection where they aren't too crunchy or too soft and it's a great pairing with their flavorful breaded tenders... the bread that comes with the food is seared with butter and it's great to dip into your sauce as it changes your taste buds up.. overall I'm rating Zaxbys a 5 star because the service was friendly, fast, and correct- not to mention the food was totally Bussin.. read more

Zaxby's has such great food. But, this is NOT the place where you want to order your food. The wait time is always long, but I've never had a problem with a worker being rude - until last week. I had a free big Zax Snak meal and decided to go to Order that. I ordered over the drive thru with no problem. Once I got to the window, I kindly let this black lady know that I had a reward. She instantly caught an attitude and told me I was supposed to let them know at the drive thru. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT??? The drive thru is literally just for taking your order. It's common sense to go to the window and let them know of your coupon/reward. I just think this lady was being lazy. Thanks to her unnecessary attitude, she didn't even bother to scan my app (even tho I had it open and ready) and I was able to use my reward and get free food again from a different, better location. She gave me my food, drink and receipt and each time she did, I kindly thanked her. There was no "you're welcome" coming from her mouth. If you hate your job, just say that! I didn't know you could do this bad with chicken. We should have known when we found no one inside. We have never been here before. To be fair my wife had one of their blackened chicken salads. It was good, but it was grilled only, no blackening At all. My grandson had the chicken boneless wings and fingers. The fingers were ok. The only way to describe the wings is rubber. They did replace them with fingers. I ordered the wings. They were Hard as a rock like they had been recooked. I must say I don't do this very often. I guess the last straw was my wife needed more blue cheese dressing for the salad. That was .25. With drinks this meal cost me $42.96. Should have known when we saw no one inside. Won't happen again. Never heard of this restaurant before driving past it on my way to Target. Apparently this place was new to the area. I thought I would just give it a try. From the outside the place looks pretty big but inside not so much. So this is a chicken quick service restaurant. I got in line to order a Wings and Things meal. It came with five pieces of wings, celery, a boat load of fries and toast. Well I thought if I was going into cardiac arrest I might as well go all the way and threw in an order of fried cheese. Everybody was super friendly except they did take a little bit longer to get my food out. The cheese was a little bit weird but in a good way. The wings were better than I expected. They were really good I would order them again. While waiting for my food I was checking out other people's orders and a lot of the salads looked really good.
