So glad I was in the area to finally try this place! Inside is extremely clean, even the bathrooms are spotless. The decor is nice and sleek. Service was awesome, the young man at the counter was very helpful and friendly and he provided awesome recommendations. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered - Base - 1/2 rice with lentils 1/2 salad. Protein I got the double option, half olive u chicken and half gyro. I added pretty much every topping and I love that they don't up charge for the free options which really works for me since I eat a lot. Both proteins were cooked nicely, flavorful and juicy. All of the veggie toppings were super fresh. The bowl came up to about $17 and it was worth every penny. 5/5. There are a few other locations closer to my home and I really hope they're anywhere as good as this location. Coming here is a no brainer if you like fresh Mediterranean food. read more

I was visiting my mom in FL and wanted to try a new restaurant that was healthier. I saw that this was a Mediterranean place and I'm half middle eastern so I grew up with similar foods, so I know what is authentic and what tastes good. So we decided to get Olive U Mediterranean Grill for dinner ordered through uber eats. I ordered their create your own bowl with green falafel (there are two different kinds but most places have the green one), turmeric rice, extra tomatoes, cucumbers, extra pickles, chickpeas, feta cheese, house sauce, tahini, tzatziki, and hummus. Though the veggies were fresh, the food had absolutely NO flavor.... Not even the hummus tasted of anything except chickpeas (there should be some lemon and olive oil for example). While it was healthy and fresh, it having no flavor isn't what I'm used to. I didn't even have more than a few bites. The pickles were ok. My mom ordered the same thing but with the chicken shawarma and rice with lentils. She mentioned the same thing, no flavor despite having the chicken instead. If you know anything about middle eastern or Mediterranean food it NEVER lacks flavor, so this was very disappointing. We also ordered the Greek Fries which has their house sauce, feta cheese and paprika. I would say that despite being a bit soggy (probably due to it being delivered), this was the only menu item we got which had any sort of flavor at all. We ordered the Cilantro Lime Hummus as well, and I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately despite the slightly good flavor from the cilantro and lime combo, it had a distinct waxy aftertaste almost like when your lipstick gets in your food. I'm not sure what would cause this but maybe it just wasn't that fresh? Either way we both were left feeling hungry. I didn't have much to experience as far as service except that they included everything that was ordered in the bag and it was packed well. TLDR: Olive U Mediterranean Grill clearly doesn't love you if they are offering food with absolutely no flavor at all. Also, the cilantro lime hummus was waxy and artificial tasting. Despite the veggies being fresh, and the fries being ok, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially not for an authentic experience. read more

The best Mediterranean bowl I've had in a very long time. I love the flavors that they offer and the customization of the bowls is fantastic for anyone on a strict diet. I'm on a high protein and lower sodium diet (even though I got a bit of the pickled cabbage, I couldn't help myself lol) and they hooked the food up for me exactly how I want! Literally my favorite Mediterranean spot! As a vegan, finding a place that gets both fries and falafel right feels like a small miracle, and Olive U absolutely delivers. The fries are perfectly crispy, the falafel is flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right, and everything tastes like it was made with care. We had a good dinner here. But, full disclosure, I'm not a fan of bowl food. I don't like everything smushed together. So take this review with a grain of salt. My husband was craving a salad for dinner as we'd had a big lunch. I remembered coming to one of their other locations for a Yelp West Palm event many years ago. And that they had a salad based option. So we decided to check them out. You go through the line by starting with a "base". We both chose salad. Other choices include rice or lentils or hummus. Then you choose your protein. I got their chicken shawarma. It's the same as their plain grilled chicken, but with added seasonings like cumin and curry. It's not spicy at all. My husband chose felafel. These are fried chick pea balls with herbs. Then there are your choices of toppings and sauces/dressings. There are 10 possible toppings. I chose their vinaigrette dressing. He had the house one. In addition, I added some hummus on the side. This was a small cup. You can also have a much larger hummus appetizer with a slice of pita. The chicken was a bit dry so the hummus was a good addition. We did feel like we were getting some fiber and eating "healthy". He was very happy with his choices and his meal. read more

I heard about their excellent gluten-free options and decided to give it a try. The staff patiently explained all the gluten-free items, which made me feel confident in my choice. I built a rice bowl with yellow rice as my base and opted for double protein: the Olive U Chicken and Falafel. The toppings bar was so fresh and vibrant. I added Romaine lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, feta, garbanzo beans, pickled cabbage, cucumbers, and olives. The house sauce and tahini dressing were amazingly flavorful and creamy. The cilantro hummus was also very yummy. Dining in was an enjoyable experience. The space was spotless and staff checked in twice to make sure we had everything we needed. That kind of attentive service really stands out in 2025. But the real star was the Greek fries. Topped with that incredible house sauce and crumbled feta, they were so good I'm still dreaming about them! On days I don't want to cook or want a healthy fast-food fix, Olive U has become my go-to spot. read more

I really enjoy this place other than the price. I feel like it lacks value. For my husband and I it was more than $40 for dinner. We thought this was expensive for what we had. Overall the restaurant is very clean. The chicken shawarma salad is my go to dish. The dips appetizer is great, although it needs more pita. The spicy feta dip is great! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with top-tier service from Veronica, who was so good at what she does that I genuinely thought she owned the place. Her leadership shines through in the entire staff--everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient. The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and makes it incredibly easy to pick a healthy meal for the day without sacrificing flavor or variety. And the best part? The prices are just right! Honestly, Veronica deserves her own location (with the owner's blessing, of course!). I enjoyed our first visit to Olive U! I would definitely go back. I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic of our food. The ordering style reminds me of a Chipotle where you pick a base, protein and then toppings. Delicious food and the house sauce is amazing! Pros: friendly staff that greet you upon entering, very clean, air conditioning nice and cold on a very hot day, fresh and tasty food, self serve beverage station, staff goes through and offers to take your trash and tray off the table while they clean, line to order goes quickly. Great place! *My only con is that for the price I was surprised at the stingy amount of gyro meat on my bowl. It was 4 small very thin strips of meat. A similar type bowl I ordered at same price at a Greek restaurant last week had probably 4 - 5 times the meat. He must have noticed my raised eyebrows lol. He asked twice if I wanted double meat but I declined since it's 4.00 more. My sister had falafel as protein and it looked to be a decent size serving. Next time I'll try my luck with chicken. Our bill total was a few cents short of $47 including 10% tip for two bowls, 2 pitas , side of regular fries and three drinks. read more

If you happen to like Mediterranean food, do not miss this place. The taste is authentic and delicious. It's right off of SR-7 near the Wellington Mall, so easily accessible. Prices are very reasonable considering how tasty the food is. At other restaurants you'd probably pay 3x for similar dishes. The baba ghanoush stands out as exceptional, as well as the different flavors of rice, including the one with lentils. Five stars. Very tasty. Also very friendly staff. read more

My husband is home from work today and I wanted to try a different base. I really liked the chicken shawarma last time so we kept the protein. This time we tried the rice with lentil. I ordered online so hubby could see the options. I knew from the last order that the size was large and we could double the protein and it be enough food for us both. We did the lentil rice, double chicken shawarma, double all veggies except lettuce and asked for jalapeños on the side. I was not going to get the black olives due to last time one had a pit in it, but the owner reached out to me and informed me this should not be and he was going to get a different olive supplier. We added on 2 grape leaves, lime cilantro hummus and house sauce as well as the hot sauce (all sauces on the side). I got there at 11:22 and my bag was ready for pick up and I brought it home. They use cardboard containers so its nice knowing that it is recyclable. I dumped the ingredients from the container into a large bowl, added the hummus and house sauce and mixed it all up. My husband added jalapeños and hot sauce to his. It was delicious and next time I might try the hummus base. The rice with cinnamon just sounds odd, I might ask for a tiny side sample next order to try that. read more

GREAT food. Counter service but the protein is freshly grilled in front of you. Lots of exciting bases and humus varieties to choose from. You can also mix and match your bases - eg, half hummus, half rice, which adds a nice variety. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma, and the dolmas / grape leaves are also tasty. We went to Olive U for the first time and I am so glad we did! it was just what we needed. Healthy, delicious, quick and great service. it's also nice because you can personalize your meal. There are endless combinations so everyone gets to have exactly what they love, how they want it. The customer service was also top notch. Veronica made us feel at home. Olive U has become a regular lunch spot for my husband and I. The food is always fresh and delicious. Also they have the best fries! You can get them plain but I definitely recommend the Greek fries covered in their house dressing, feta and paprika. You will NOT be disappointed. I would go here just for the fries. Instead of explaining politely that it wasn't allowed, the employee helping me responded in a very rude and dismissive way. I completely understand that certain items may not be included or may cost extra -- that's not the issue. The problem was the attitude. He spoke to me with no patience or basic courtesy, as if I was an inconvenience for simply asking a question about the menu. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and the way I was treated made me not want to come back. He appeared unhappy, unprofessional, and frankly like he didn't want to be there. That kind of energy makes for an uncomfortable experience, especially when you're just trying to order a meal. I hope management takes customer service more seriously, because no one should be made to feel disrespected over a simple menu question.

Unfortunately, some of the more "exotic dishes" fell down: My Lamb Tagine was really disappointing. The lamb itself was tender but the flavors were lacking - there was no depth in the sauce and, other than two cooked plums, there were no vegetables. There were not anywhere enough servers for the restaurant - it was a Saturday night and there was a nice crowd. Too bad; La Vie has potential but it did not deliver.

Our waiter possibly the owner or a manager was extremely professional, attentive, and helpful, offering great suggestions that clearly showed pride in the food and the restaurant. Overall, an outstanding experience. I'll definitely be back and only wish they had more locations.

The spanakopita is ok, I get it every once in a while but it's not my favorite. They make a lot of good dishes. I highly recommend this place.

BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude

Enroute to our hotel I spotted Agora and checked it out online. Reviews were good, never had Turkish food (we love Greek, Israeli, we recently tried Lebanese) so this sounds aswesome. Easy reservations at 5.30, our next event was 7 pm Greeted warmly and picked any table. Place did fill in by the time we left. No table pita or salads, so good to know. We had: 1) Eggplant 2) Pita and Hummus (less Tahini than Greek, still delicious) 2) Dumpling Dish 3) Beyti 4) One glass wine. At the end they brought some Turkish tea shots on the house. It was dry, bland, and did not resemble sourdough at all. * The biscuits were hard, and the gravy was unidentifiable and did not resemble southern-style food in any way. * The corned beef hash looked raw and unappetizing and completely ruined our child meal. * The potatoes were absolutely awful. We had planned our day around visiting Lion Country Safari, so after investing nearly two hours between waiting and service, leaving was not an option. We left still hungry and frustrated, needing to find lunch elsewhere but short on time. Our waitress was pleasant and absolutely deserved the 25 percent tip we left her. However, service overall was disorganized. At one point she bumped into our table and did not even realize she was our assigned server. I had to explain that we had been waiting long enough and needed our children order taken immediately. To make matters worse, when we were leaving, a staff member exited the ladies restroom, which smelled terrible, and walked straight out without washing her hands. She passed directly in front of us. Enjoying a sunny day with our best friends from med school and residency who left the winters of PA behind to live in Florida. Celebrating life, family and friendship. Ordered a Mediterranean Skillet with skillet potatoes and a sunny side up egg. (You know I already looked at the quite extensive menu the night before.) My hubby ordered the same to match me. Our friends got a My Big Fat Greek Omelet and a Heathy Omelet with onions added. The skillet potatoes are more like a scalloped potato casserole. Milk, cream, cream cheese, scallions and shredded potatoes. So rich and creamy. The Mediterranean Skillet adds grilled red onions, mushrooms, peppers, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and a generous sprinkle of goat cheese. Topped with two eggs, it is decadently delicious. Bread options included scones, toast or biscuits. Our table tried all of them. My scone was so delicious. I only ate half because my skillet was so delicious and so filling. My friend loved her biscuit and my hubby loved his scone. Sophia was great. She kept checking on us with a warm smile and refills of coffee. Lots of parking on a Sunday morning. A great breakfast for four. Very reasonable prices for fresh skillets and omelets. Hopefully we will be back on another visit to the Sunshine State.
