Zaxbys on Laurens Rd, Greenville, SC, is the by far the worst Zaxbys I've ever been in. I was the only customer there around 3 pm on a weekday. It took much too long to receive food while dining in. I had decided to try the new stacked quesadillas based on the tv commercial with Spike Lee showing large, packed with chicken quesadillas. What I received was far from it. This restaurant was so bad that I redownloaded yelp after not having it for 2 years. For starters, the first thing I see when I arrived was a grown man beating his child in the parking lot. All of the tables are not bolted in and the slide around so you can't even sit there. And on top of that, the tables are covered in leftover food and drink and are sticky. The drink station is also sticky and covered in spills, it seems like nobody has cleaned the restaurant in a week. The chicken is also overcooked and the food is not seasoned well. I apologize for this crash out in advance. On 3 different occasions, I've ordered from the app, first time 15 minutes before getting there. Second time 17 minutes before getting there. And third time over 20 minutes in advance. And every time I've had to wait from 10-20 minutes for my meal on top of the time left before They closed the inside, which is where I was going to do pickup. But they wouldn't even send someone to bring my food, they wanted me to wait in this long ass line for 20 minutes, to get the food I ordered 20 minutes before arriving. Seeing as the management acknowledges your 1 star reviews, but they aren't doing jack shit to replace the lazy folks on their staff. The kids and I have stopped here a time or two when taking my son back to school. This location is around the corner from where he stays. On this day, I was bringing my son back and he and I sat in here and ate. I ordered chicken fingers and he had a sandwich. Everything was really good. The table we sat at was sticky and this seems to be the going thing at every location I've visited. I am not sure if it's the cleaner they use or whatever, but the tables are always sticky! If I could give a zero star I would! This is by far the worse Zaxby's I've ever eaten at. There customer service is horrible! They do not listen when you tell them what you want to order they will charge you want you ask for but give you what they want you to have. They lobby is always randomly closed so if they mess your order up which they always do you either just have to keep it or sit in the long drive thru line again just to get your food right. I just don't understand how the food come out the window cold. It don't make sense to me. On a whim. I got the Loaded Fries. They are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them.

Love the rustic old look, the walls are decked with old time sports and toys. A nice blast from the past. Given it's more dated than the other Zaxby's but rustic is nice too. Washrooms are clean, crew is courteous. Only down side is that there's some kind of stangant scent in the air. read more

The staff here seem to have no intelligence whatsoever. I frequent at this location because it is near my house but I am tired of the poor service. They rarely get my order right and the employees are often rude. I ask for a meal without any complicated instructions and they still get my order wrong. This is my first yelp review but let me just say, it was needed. My friend is hungover, I'm emotionally hungover, but somehow, the great people of the Lauren's Rd Zaxby's must've known that. We both ordered the Buffalo Big Zax meal (not on the menu but would 1000% recommend) with wimpy sauce and a sweet tea. It was a spiritual experience that I won't be able to recreate in a while, if ever. My compliments to the chef. I would shake your hand if I thought it wouldn't freak you out. I went through the drive thru just now and got my order in a fast time no issues , but this is why I leave 2 stars .... so when I placed my order I asked for extra zax sauce and when I got my bag I noticed there wasn't any in the bag so I asked Zaria politely (the name listed on receipt) for a zax sauce and she literally rolled her eyes at me. Not having a Zaxby's in Ohio my children and I stopped in for dinner the other night - we had to be back from our Airbnb off of Lauren's and back to the Kroc center downtown - so we needed something fast. My youngest (11) got the chicken finger plate (4 fingers), my oldest and middle children (13 and 15) got the chicken finger sandwich meal, and I got the cajun club meal. The food was delicious and filling which is what two of my dancers needed that night. When we first pulled up (we used the drive thru) I really couldn't understand the lady taking my order, and I was feeling sort of rushed, which isn't good since we've never been to a Zaxby's and didn't really know what we wanted. The speaker seemed messed up. However, when I pulled up to the pay/pick up window the lady was very nice and with a heavy Southern drawl (which I really liked). "HOLD!" That's what we heard when we pulled up to the drive-thru speaker. We were so shocked by how rude they were, that we could only laugh. When we got to the window for our food we were given a bag and told good bye. We weren't given our drink. And while we were waiting for them to come back to the window we could see the two girls just staring at us like "why are they still here?" Then we got the wrong drink and they acted so disgusted that we told them it was wrong. All I could think was, "I'm sorry you messed up.." The staff seems mostly indifferent. No one is especially warm or welcoming, they just take orders and deliver fried chicken. My lunch favorite is the Blue Salad with Buffalo chicken. Upon pulling up to the drive thru menu, I was greeted with the typical indistinguishable fast food mumble that I only assumed was "How can I help you?" or "May I take your order?". I ordered a chicken finger plate. The food was hot, but Roberta the cashier, seemed to get an attitude because I asked for ketchup with my drive thru order. Not only did she have an attitude, but it took entirely too long to get my change. My total was $7.33, I gave her $20.33. Once I got home I realized my food was literally saturated with salt. First off when I pull into the parking lot there are two employees just standing on the side walk starring me down like a how dare you come here right now kind of stare. I didn't think nothing else about it and proceeded to order through the drive through. The girl who was working at the Drive Thru window was so rude and disrespectful. She never once said a word to me, nothing. I even asked her for an extra sauce, she just ignored me and handed me my food and closed the window all without ever saying a word to me.
