Don't order probably for delivery. When you ask for all wings or all drums they almost taunt you and give you the opposite. Asked for 12 wings all flats for 10 drums. This was my first visit to Smokin Wings and immediately they became my new "go-to" spot for wings. I waited too long to come here, having passed it by several times. The variety of dry and wet options for rubs or sauces is incredible. They say it is over 120 flavors. The good smoky flavor is a char-grilled feel coupled with the meaty size and flavorings is an excellent combination. Several hot sauces are also available. And the fries were very good too. Wings are great. This was our second time here. On the downside: We went in and ordered. We needed to wash our hands. I came out and informed the three staff near the register that soap was needed in men's restroom. They looked at me dumbfounded for a few seconds and then wandered to back of the kitchen to do other tasks. Finally I got my wife to watch the door to women's restroom so I could wash hands. Ordered online, told it'd be 45 mins for a 12 pc combo. That was fine at first then went inside kid at desk kept picking up and slamming phone down every time it rang. Also after I got there at the suggested time and sat in the lobby for about 10 minutes the kid at the desk walked to the break room and said I should ask someone about my food after I had just tried being nice and tipping after payment which wasn't much but I regret. The ordering and pick up process is extremely chaotic. Everyone bunches up at the front and it's hard to determine whether someone is waiting to order or waiting to pick up. Once you determine the line process you will have to wait for people to read all the sauce selections and make a decision. The order takers are not the most helpful nor are they very polite. I think everyone behind the counter is overwhelmed. It took 45 minutes to get our order of 20 wings. I placed an online order. I get home and I am missing one of my sides, no dressings in the bag etc. I call back to speak to the manager (Elizabeth) who was absolutely NO HELP. All she said was that it was 2 of the employees first day. If it was their first day, why would they be left at the front with no trainer? Then she offered to "credit" me for a Cole slaw...I don't care about free food. If I couldn't afford to pay for my order I wouldn't be eating out. What ever happened to good customer service? I've been pleased with this restaurant for the most part. Tonight, I am very disappointed. I ordered the pork chop and 3 wings. The last time I ordered this, it was really good. Tonight I received a pork chop with the thickness of a THIN slice of bologna. I called and was told all of the pork chops coming in were thin and they could not control that. I understand, but you should not accept these wafer thin pork chops and expect your customers to accept it. I have been a loyal customer since the restaurant opened. First to start off, I love the location. I have not had the wings yet because I'm so drawn to the pork chop sandwich here. I also love the onion rings here as well, homemade and crispy. But the food is not consistently good. You may get the good homemade onion rings or end up with the store bought ones. And the cooking oil that is used can be changed at least once a week to keep the taste of the old oil out of the food that just kills the good flavor in all the food. This is not a put down just an area of opportunity. Now on to the way time and service here. The service from the staff I received here was great! I have no complaints. Lots and lots of flavors to pick from for your wings. I picked garlic Parmesan fried wings. Definitely did not disappoint. My son got the buffalo wings smoked. His were a bit tough but the flavor was good. He did thou prefer mine due to the tenderness. As we sat there , we could hear lots and lots of calls for to go orders.
