Stopped in today at the Zaxby's on Argyle. The mission was simple: grab fried pickles for Mrs. Foot. But I couldn't resist and added some wings for myself. The place is usually packed, but since it was Sunday before noon I managed to beat the post-church crowd. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a steady stream of drive thru orders coming in, so it was louder in the kitchen than the dining room. The lady at the counter was patient and leaned in to catch my order clearly, which I appreciated. I went with the Wings & Things meal. The lemon pepper wings didn't have that crisp snap I normally expect, though the flavor was solid. The tenders tossed in Tongue Torch sauce hit the right note, but the wings just weren't at their best today. I didn't mention it to the counter since the rush was picking up. Today I went through the drive through got a chicken Quesadilla combo, so in words of a combo you generally get a side! im sorry but when I pay $13.79 for a Quesadilla & a sweet tea that is not a combo! Went here twice. Will not go back due to the very poor service. Went through drive through both times. 1. wait 5+ mins. to get to the ordering spot, make my way through, pay, and they tell me to pull up and wait out of the line. okay. Im now about 10 mins in. I take a phone call. 10 mins. in they still haven't come out. I go inside and get my food and leave. 2. I try to give them another chance. Today i waited 10 mins at lunch rush hour to get to order, made my way to pay, pull up again 15 mins. in. okay. Take a phone call. 9 minutes in again they brought out the food. I drive down the street only to realize they gave me a completely wrong order (someone elses food), had to drive back and go inside in my bathing suit (hence the drive through), and get my food. If I could give them a no star I would. This place here , don't get me wrong you will get your food but may not get your drinks. The white manager was pushing the girls to stay at the front to keep the customers comfortable or something. But I guess the manager forgot who was going to get the drinks. I wouldn't recommend coming here. I went in to order and was told they wouldn't talk an order because the dining room was closed. I could either get in the drive thru line or order from the app. I went back to my car and placed my order because the drive thru was wrapped around the building. When I went in to pick up my order I was told the dining room was closed because they were trying to go 45 Days without an employee getting COVID. Delaney then added because "we don't want to get vaccinated". So because the employees don't want to get vaccinated the public has the inconvenience. I'm sure these employees don't go out at all when they get off work. The chicken tenders were flavorful but tiny which is the reason for my two stars. I definitely won't go back to this Zaxby's. These skinny tenders aren't worth the money and certainly not worth sitting in a drive thru line because they won't open the dining room. read more

Love the Big Zac Snack Meal! Great change up from the other chicken places as we don't like to repeat the same restaurant over and over. Wife loves the texas style toast that comes with the meal. We enjoy the salads here also. We mostly order to go but the restaurant is usually clean and provides a nice ambiance to sit and enjoy a hot meal! Note: This can be a busy place here at the drive up during lunch and dinner time so plan accordingly. read more

The cleaning protocols here are subpar. I truly understand staff shortages, but this is not acceptable. Had to wait a bit for the small cup caps and thought there would be a quick clean...NOPE. i came early for my online,which I knew I was probably going to have to wait so I went through drive through told them my name and the man told me to. wait a car 2 parking spot.i pull in I'm waiting 10 minutes someone comes to my window and gives me the wrong order. she says sorry and walks away. now I'm waiting 30 minutes it now 8:50 I decided to call to see if I need to go inside or go through the drive though again and she answer and helps me out and tell me my food was been ready they just didn't say anything,which is beyond crazy. she brought out my food and give me a cookie for my wait. Love their Zalads. I have to be honest, I haven't had anything else from Zaxby's but their Zalads and the enjoyability I experience from eating there keeps me going back time after time. I had the The Blue Zalad this time blackened with blue cheese dressing. It was packed with mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, roma tomatoes, fried onions, blue cheese crumbs and blackened or buffalo chicken. With of course their signature Texas Toast. I think on my next visit I will try one of their other popular meals like the Traditional wings and thighs or the Buffalo Big Zax Snak. Everything looks so darn yummy. read more

I never go through drive-through. I decided to take a chance on Zaxby's in my local neighborhood. I was very specific in my order. It wasn't even busy. I ordered the fajita quesadilla and an extra sauce to go with it and soda. I made a meal of it. When I drove home, they had given me the wrong quesadilla no receipt just the sticker on the bag. So I called the establishment spoke to the manager, Tyler, who advised me I had to bring the food back and the receipt which I didn't have just a sticker on the bag. I told him I wasn't sure when I would be able to come back in, but he said I had to bring the food with me no matter how long it took for me to bring the food back. It could be a month. I told him he said I still had to bring the food. I couldn't believe it. I asked him for Corporate's number I called Corporate. They were closed. Unbelievable who says to keep the food as long as it takes, but you have to bring it back in order to get a refund or replacement. read more

We ordered 2 five piece wing dinners and fried pickles. While waiting we were told that they had run out of fried pickles and offered to refund the cost. They also stated they had no sweet and Spicy sauce. I presented my card for the refund and observed the server run it thru the register and take out the receipt. When I was presented with my order I was told "Oh we have fried pickles" and left. Upon arriving at home and opening the box, we only had 1 five piece meal with NO Celery as offered and inedible soggy greasy French Fries and Texas toast. The Fried Pickles were so poorly prepared that the coating had come off them. This was my first time to try Zaxbys and my last time. If you can't serve under limited conditions, you will never be able to handle normal operations. I love zaxbys it's one of my fav fast food places however they can be extremely hit or miss. Always check your bag if you get takeout because they will forget items. I heard so much positive stuff about Zaxby's so I finally went to try it out . I ordered the wings and things, when I received my order I realized my toast was burnt, I'm not sure how you would even serve a customer burnt toast and not remake it. I mentioned it to the young lady at the front and she said that that's the way it's served. I'm not one to argue so I went about my business and sat down and ate my meal . This location is soooo SLOW! I made a mobile order thinking it would be faster but, I still end up waiting 40 minutes! The app said my order would be ready by 2:04 and I didn't get my order until 2:25 and I even went inside to pick it up and it still was not ready! My fries were warm and soggy. The bun on my chicken sandwich was soaked in butter and it was burnt. I am never going to this location again. This wasn't the first time they've disappointed me. Husband eats here all the time. I'm giving this location 5 stars because management is extremely friendly. Before this location opened, while training the employees my husband walks up and ask if they are open and the owner tells him no sir but you're welcomed to go in and order for free. My husband ask are you sure and he insist. Husband orders and it takes a little bit since they are training. He ordered the chicken club basket which they hand to him than something extra a milkshake which happened to be my favorite, the banana pudding. Bad food, slow service, long lines, and COCKROACHES!! Found one roach in the bathroom and others in the wood work of the booths, one of which was literally falling off the WALL.
