2 out of the 3 times I've been here they have gotten my order wrong...and it was cold. Honestly make the trip to CFA bc this ain't it.

Food was good when you finally get it that wasn't the problem. The service was awful the poor girl didn't know which was up or down. It was like they took her off the street and said here you're a waitress. The had more servers then guest it was ridiculous and not any of them had a clue. Oh and a heads up don't order the protein pancakes. I did 12$ for 3 I didn't look the price didn't think they would be that much. I was totally shocked what a rib off. Lesson learned protein equals expensive lol. read more

My order was taken at the speaker. I was told to hold at the speaker. My food was some when I reached the window but it was wrong. I asked for my chicken to be tossed in tongue torch. I also asked for double fries with the 4 fingers plate. There wasn't enough fries given. I went back in to fix the order. I was given a dipping sauce instead of dipping my chicken properly. Love Zaxby's overall but the one in Macon (on Riverside across the street from Checker's) does not live up to the usual standards of the other ones. This is my go-to Zaxby's even though it isn't the best one around. This location is always swamped and it doesn't matter what you do to avoid the line, you will end up waiting. The food quality is hit or miss as well. Some days I get a perfect meal, other days the sauce barely coats the chicken and yodon't even want to finish the meal. My favorite thing to order is usually the wings n things plate, but following the recent price increase I have been branching out to different parts of the menu. Lately I've been on a hot honey mustard kick for the boneless wings meal. I will still end up eating here dozens of more times in the years to come, but there are undoubtedly better Zaxby's locations in Macon. read more

This location is convenient for me, both at home (I live around the corner) and at work, as the Boo Boo Bus passes by here easily on the way out of one of the hospitals back to the post. Fairly clean. I've never been hassled by any of the local wildlife, but if I was, I know all of them by name and medical history so they don't bother me much. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, but hey, it's right next to the bus station and just up from two of the local bridges where our local urban outdoorsmen live. What do you expect? You're in downtown Macon. The food is to the chain's standards. Fries might be a little cold if you go right before they close. The trick is to order something they have to make fresh, like the tater chips. read more

Ordered 10 pc fingers at 3:11 on October 12th and finally asked for my money back at 3:39 p.m. It shouldn't take 28 minutes to deliver a standard menu item. They waited on and served about 20 people in line and by drive-through before I'd had enough. I waited so long I peeked in the kitchen and was horrified at the condition of the floors and food prep area. I will never, ever go this store again. The franchise owner really should pay more attention to what is going on here. There are few but definitely better choices in Macon. The assistant manager was rude but did give me my money back.
