Chicken fingers are the best I. Greenville, always hot juicy and crispy. I came for lunch to see if service improvements have stuck, and they have! A mid-July Monday at 12:09, arrived and had order placed a minute later with my 5 piece Fingerz meal then delivered to my table by 12:15. It wasn't crowded when I arrives and soon after, a line had formed, but clearly much better service than my earlier visit. Tables are kept clean, as are restrooms. Still a little short on the greeting. I was standing at the register and was noticed and then asked, "Do you want to place an order?" It was pretty quick acknowledgement, but not really a greeting or welcome, but comparatively this is a great improvement. Plus, maybe I've mentioned this before l, but sometime over the last couple of years, they have figured out how to make good iced tea. read more

Although I generally like Zaxby's. The last three times I've been to this location has shown me that they are not simply a one off. The manager and staff are rude. The food is often cold. This is the absolute worst Zaxby's as far as customer service through a drive-through. Drive-through are supposed to be relatively quick. But I have now waited in the drive-through for 35 minutes and this was after four cars left the drive-through because of the wait time. When I called to follow up, the phone was answered with a casual "hello" rather than a professional greeting such as "Thank you for calling Zaxby's of Mauldin, how may I help you?" As I explained that I had been waiting over an hour for a single plate of food, the person on the phone seemed distracted and not fully listening. This was particularly disappointing because the order was for my 9-year-old son's birthday dinner--something he had specifically requested. The experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and unfortunately, I don't see myself returning to any Zaxby's in the future. I was quite pleased to find a descent salad on this strip. There are many fast food places close by but i stopped in. The salad with grilled chicken seemed to be the healthiest option. It was quite good. The lettuce was fresh and plenty of other veggies. The chicken portion could have been a little bigger. The light dressing was very good. Could have used an extra toast. Terrible customer service, paid over $10 for 2 milkshakes that we did not receive. We were pushily told they would be out in 3 min instead of refunding us at the time. We still didn't receive after well over 20 min of waiting. Was told only way to receive a refund was to drive back to the location and come inside personally, which is ridiculous. I ate here last night with my dad. It had been two years since I've eaten Zaxby's. And what a let down. We both got wings and things, Both with wimpy wings but mine had hot honey mustard chicken tenders as well. The price is now more than $11 and they no longer have celery sticks. Well my dad ate his chicken tenders and then he moved onto his wings. They were ICE cold. I touched mine and they were too. He said his tenders were fine and I had yet to eat any of it because I eat slow. So I went up and told a woman who I assume is the manager. And she didn't apologize. She was quite snarky and told me to bring the receipt. And she was the one that took my order. Walked all the way back and brought it over. She told me she'd bring the food over later. When I went to try to eat my tenders I noticed they were ice cold as well but warm in some areas. So again I went back and took my whole tray and told her to touch the tender and she wouldn't. But she said she'd also bring me some tenders. Eventually she brought the food back but the tenders were basic. They didn't have the sauce I paid for. But at this point I was really annoyed and wasn't going to argue and potentially get my food spit in. I left right after and didn't finish eating there. Tl;dr wings and things was ice cold. Ordered a quick lunch for the office and you can never go wrong with zaxbys. Everything was up to my expectation. Zax sauce is my favorite and I wish I could have it at home. I went a little after 1230 so the lunch crowd had already gone through. I love the cold slaw. I would trade my toast for more coke slaw if possible. read more

The drive through was incredibly long so we went inside. We ordered two Caesar salads with fried chicken to go. We waited for 25 minutes!!! The manager apologized and said the reason we were waiting was because we were waiting on "fresh food." So the other food served was not fresh? Ew. The food was on plates and not prepared in boxes (we ordered it to go). We had to wait longer for the chefs to transfer the food to boxes. The salad came with no dressing and the chicken was dry. It seems as though they took care of the drive thru customers first, and then worked on the dine in customers when they had the time. We did have lots to talk about. Wow what a change. We live a mile away and visit a few times a year. Went here tonight and service was so bad had to wait 20 minutes for our order. Drive thru was backed up more than 10 cars. I believe they have hired all the McDonalds rejects. This restaurant is making the same mistake as so many!! They could care less about customer service. Takes forever to get through the drive thru and always make sure you check your food before heading home because it's VERY common to be missing something - like your kids food who you needed the most. I worked at a Zaxby's a long time ago and don't understand why it's so difficult for them to get it together and send out correct food. I understand a hiccup every now and then, but to consistently send out wrong or missing food says they need management to pay more attention to the quality the workers are producing OR it needs new management. read more

Went here to grab lunch today and was welcomed by Justin at the register. He was super friendly and you can tell he takes his job seriously. He was quick and easy to deal with and confirmed my order.
