If I could give zero stars I would . This place needs to get shut down . TERRIBLE SERVICE and long lines with no sense of pace from the workers . Over 20 customers waiting for there food wile no service is helping nor seemed concerned. Trash cans also don't have bags and are outside of the bins. Bathrooms are beyond filthy and have no toilet paper in any stalls. The floors are all dirty , tables are dirty everything is filthy I don't know how the health department hasn't stepped . Well, the Turd Burglar made it down to North Carolina way (country accent) for a couple of pieces of fried chicken. Heard folk talkin about' Zaxbys being the place so I reckoned I'd stop in. And what I come' to find is that the food is complete TRASH. I got the Wings and Things meal, which basically means they find the 5 driest pieces of chicken and dump a gallon of nasty ass sauce all over it. I was wiping sauce off on the side of my plate. After my meal I roll into the bathroom to get whatever the hell I just ate out of me and enact revenge. I walk in and this house of a human is literally destroying the bathroom. One guy was basically passed out in the corner cause he couldn't breath. So I wait my turn outside the bathroom and when this guy exits we lock eyes and we both know what just happened in that stall. Don't bother unless you have 30+ minutes to wait in the drive-thru only to be told they are out of what you wanted to order. Then after you finally get something to eat - the order is usually wrong. They will forget your dressing for your salad or the fries - or get the beverage wrong - very rarely do they get it correct the first time. Always check your order before you leave. Blackened chicken, bacon, ranch, green leaf lettuce, tomato and American cheese on a toasted bun. The chicken is so juicy and the fries were crispy and fresh. Hands down the worst location since the start of Covid. I used to stop here all the time because of the location right off 95, however since early 2020 the service has fallen off a cliff. Service lately is notoriously slow, the drive thru wait can be anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on the time of day. Once you finally make it through and get you order, you stand a very good chance of part of your order being incorrect (sweet tea instead of unsweet), no sauce instead of an extra sauce, or the entire order being wrong. Final straw was the most recent visit where after spending over 20 minutes in line, I ordered 10 fingerz with an extra Zax sauce and unsweet tea. I instead received one grilled chicken salad and a fried chicken salad. The receipt said "6 finger plate meal with fried and cole slaw and sweet tea." You really have to go out of your way to screwup an order this much. read more

Terrible experience here. I understand everything that is going on but I waited 20 mins in thedrivethru for 2 sides and they were both completely wrong. Call back and they say they will bring my food out due to dining being closed. 15 mins later still no food. I call back and of course no answer. I make my way up to the drive thru window where it takes me 20 mins to finally get the manager to come to the window. Where he takes his sweet time giving me my refund. He is completely worthless as a manager and your business will never be successful with him in that position. The entire staff was standing around doing nothing. Overall I enjoyed my experience here at this restaurant. The dining room was moderately busy when I walked in but the cashier was very friendly. My food was served hot and I don't have any complaints about the food. The only issue perhaps is that wouldn't my order was up the drive-through cashier brought it to the counter. I asked her for some additional seasoning for my fries because I requested extra seasoning on my fries when I made my order and they did not put the extra sessoning on my fries. The drive-thru cashier rolled her eyes and walked off. I cannot even believe it butt I asked another employee and they got me the extra seasoning that I requested. Never heard of Zaxby's but reviews were good & just right outside my hotel window. I got the house salad w/ grilled chicken &bottled water. It was the best salad ever!!!! I didn't really check out their menu, on a diet, trying to stick with healthy choices. The restaurant is clean & bright. Service was what I expect from the south" friendly" As I was eating my salad and observing, I said to myself " they sure are friendly " I really enjoyed my salad, I ate the whole thing. I stopped there one day after work. The line at the counter was about 3 people long. The young man behind the counter was so overwhelmed because he had to stop taking order just so they could catch up. A couple that had been waiting 45 minutes for their food asked to speak to the manager. A tall man with a filthy uniform came out of the back. The couple explained their problem with the service a waiting so long. The man whose name tag said general manager, said very non chalant Ok we're busy so.... Zaxby's is one of my favorite places to eat, but this one is struggling. Nobody working there seemed to know what they were doing. Cashier was friendly, but kept loudly chewing gum and popping bubbles while taking orders. Waited almost 30 minutes for a chicken finger plate, and there were at least 3 orders sitting in bags on the back counter. Took at LEAST 10 minutes for them to complete one order. The food is always good and the service is excellent. I've tried about 75% of what's on the menu and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly, helpful and seem to be very happy at work. I highly recommend eating here if chicken is what you want. The inside dining area is always clean and well kept. i am from out of state (new jersey) so whenever i am down south, i always stop at a zaxbys because we do not have any. i have to say this is the WORST zaxbys i have ever been too. first off, online it says they open at 11am. my friend and i walked in at 11:05am and an employee rudely kicked us out saying they do not open until 11:10am. we have been driving for hours at this point was starving. we then went back in at 11:15am and all the employees seemed really confused and no one knew how to do their i ordered the Caesar "zalad" and the employee asked me what kind of dressing i wanted....????? i don't know maybe caesar dressing for my caesar salad? they also asked my friend what dressing she wanted for her bleu salad. the ice machine is broken. we were the first customers in the restaurant and two tables we went to sit at was sticky and dirty. also, the salt and pepper shakers were completely empty. my friend and i sat down waiting for them to call our number for our food and they never did until we walked up there and saw our food just sitting there. my friends salad didn't have dressing on the side so she went up to the counter and asked for some and the employee completely ignored her. she also asked for buffalo chicken but they gave her blackened. whatever happened to southern hospitality? poor poor horrible service! if it wasn't sunday, i would have went to chick-fil-a next door!! read more

Employees more interested in chatting with friends than waiting on paying customers. I stood in line behind a woman with 2 small children who didn't order anything but was busy chatting with her friend the employee. After hearing the description of the men's room from hubby glad we didn't order.
