I must say that the experience that I had at this restaurant on 4/23 was absolutely the worst service that I can recall. It was torture. Let me stop. The food was fine when we got it but getting there was brutal. The server, bless her heart was brand new and obviously has had no training. At one point after waiting a really long time for a round of 4 beers, I noticed that while there were 3 tables seated there were zero staff present. There was nobody to flag down to ask about our beers that weren't coming. So, I went in the back to find the entire staff circled up in the kitchen obviously focused on other priorities. They scattered when I asked for a beer that had been on order forever. I'd clean this house fast. It's a mess on the service side, except however the food was fine. read more

You can't really go wrong with food here, Applebee's is Applebee's. You can go wrong with the service though, and they do a pretty good job of going wrong. It seems they're always in a panic even when it's not busy. Super slow to get drinks, a couple of drink orders were wrong, they don't keep up on cleaning tables. Not loud, but it's not quiet. Wait staff tried to steal tips from the bartender. After waiting forever for more drinks, I approach the bar to get my own. The waiter asked me to sit down, so he can take my order. Very Bad Experience. 6:30 pm. Not very busy but many-many dirty tables. Hostess finally came to seat us after 4 minutes standing at the door. Again, not busy restaurant with plenty of staff, all standing around chit chatting. Waitress finally came over after 10 min at table. Went back to the kitchen and 12 min later finally brought our unsweetened iced teas. Forgot to bring the sweetener. 5 min later we received the sweetener. (She served no other customers during this time). Food came out looking sloppy. Fajita roll up was not rolled up. Sad. Male Bathroom out of order. Drink spilled by server and not mopped up until I made a comment. No sign of a manager and no one seemed like they cared. Worst Applebees experience ever. I will not be back to this store. If I could leave negative stars I would. Where do I begin? Sat at the bar at a dirty space, bartender took her time clearing it but never wiped it down. Took over 30 minutes to even be acknowledged (it wasn't very busy). Watched bartender use her teeth to take the 'safety' tab off a bottle of juice, ZERO check ins from bartender ( her name is Ashley) - never asked if we needed another drink, forks, knives....food was ok but service was beyond subpar. Spot next to us was left unclean the entire time we dinned (over an hour). Drinks were not poured fully into the glass. Terrible terrible! I arrived at approximately 930pm on 12 May 2024. After reading the reviews, I was so pleasantly surprised. I only went to this establishment because it was the only place open this late on a Sunday night (they stay open until 11pm). The appetizers are half-price after 9pm and there are all day drink specials. The atmosphere was very nice, accepting and so very friendly. I could play my music thru Touch Tunes, that was an added benefit. I ordered the Bourbon chicken and shrimp; it was excellent! There were so so many customers ordering the half-price appetizers and enjoying them. The vibe was definitely one of friends enjoying a night together, everyone talking to others. As a local this is one of the slowest and dirtiest restaurants there is. Staff is okay.. some are nice and some don't care to give you good service. You will wait an hour to get your food and the food is sometimes mid. If you order online, you will have to go in and get your food because no one answers the phone when you call and they don't bring it out to you. Just not a good option. The only employee gave us a look of disdain and told us it would be at least 30 minutes when there were only 3 tables being served. So yeah I will never stop there again. Our work group of five selected to dine here after 9 pm. Two of us arrived and got a table for the group. The other three didn't get there until about 45 minutes later. Our server, Angel, was excellent in keeping tabs on us while we waited. I ordered the Parmesan chicken, which included two chicken breasts over pasta. Good flavor and a more than ample portion. Came here to eat at around 10 PM on July 16th. The food was okay. Ordered an oriental salad and was asked how I wanted my chicken cooked (fried or grilled). Ordered grilled but it came without chicken. I wasn't too big of a fan. We also didn't receive our appetizer until we reminded our waitress about it. We ended up receiving our chicken in a to-go box along with an apology from the manager. The restaurant was clean, as well as the restrooms. Worst Applebees I've had the displeasure of meeting. The restaurant is overall dirty in condition, a big let down from their sanitary condition high score posted at the front. The food took an incredibly long time, and the salad was drowned in dressing and the entree was missing a main portion of it also. The waiter stated the long wait was due to the cook staff, but numerous other short comings are easy to note including: dirty water cup, trashed bathroom and uncared for floors in restaurant and incapable waitstaff. After the waiter acknowledged major issues with the dining experience, no resolution was offered. The nearly empty restaurant at dinner hour should have been a major clue. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Logans next door is pretty nice. read more

Stopped by on our way traveling back home from out of town. We sat down pretty quickly and we're greeted by our waitress quickly. She was friendly, however could not multitask. Our food came out in a reasonable time but we immediately asked for ranch for my daughter. Literally the worst service I've ever experienced, and all the other reviews prove it also We stopped here because it wasn't packed at all (now I can see why) I came in with my fiancé, MIL & two children and when we came in we weren't greeted at all but a waitress came over no smile, hello or anything just asked us to follow her and pointed to a booth for us to sit and walked away. There were only a couple other people at tables there was hardly anyone in there. We waited 10 mins before a waitress came up (once again with no smile and didn't look to happy to be there) and asked what we wanted to drink. There were many other waitress wiping down tables in all the time we waited for food and drinks just dozing off and looking like they were taking there time not wanting to go back and to anything else. When we finally got our drinks we got 2 straws out of the 5 people we had. When they finally came back to ask about what we wanted to eat I asked for more straws and she just looked confused. The food came out (and the only reason why a star would be on this review is because the food was great at least) I asked for sour cream for my quesadillas and she just said "ok" when she brought it back I said "I'm sorry could I also get salsa too I didn't realize until after I didn't get everything with my meal" she literally looked mad and didn't say anything at all just walked away to get it. The whole time nobody checked in after that to see how the food was or if we needed refills. We waited 20 mins after finishing eating and the check still hadn't come so we went up and asked for it even with my 2 year old starting to get antsy and cry and by then It was even less busy and only 3 other tables being served. I literally watched all the other waitresses too , just to see if it was our waitress and greeter who were just moody but it was literally every waitress in there not smiling at anyone and giving short replies and looking miserable. Absolutely loved this Applebee's. I had drove all day and walked in with only 45 minutes left till close but they totally were super cool and welcomed me in. The #1 thing I noticed first was the teamwork of all employees, seemed to be second nature. The Gentleman who waited on me was very attentive and very speedy service, lord knows he had been on his feet all night. I want to give a special thanks to the gentleman that was bustin tables........ ...... because I have had to travel for work obviously I eat out some and not once before had I watched someone thoroughly sanitize the tables, the chairs, menus and all surfaces throughout a restaurant and he deserves all the praise. ......also cause he chuckled at me when I thought someone done took off with my car because a waitress asked me if my car was running... even though my keys were in my damn hand. Our waiter "Dallas" was great. Very attentive. Food was typical chain fare. The fish and chips were very good. The steak was the special for the day and it was okay but a little chewy. Now the bad part... Our table was sticky and greasy. We asked for it to be wiped down. A staff member came over with a damp towel and swiped it once, which didn't do any good. Almost seemed to make it worse. The POS on the table was filthy and greasy as well. I opened my silverware packet and lo and behold it had dried food on it. The service was under average, the food was prepared quite badly. The steak was really tuff, the things that were fried (mozzarella sticks, tortilla chips, ect) were fried with old oil. The 2 fajitas we ordered were not fully cooked and the tortillas that came with it were only 3 as opposed to other Applebee's I've been to. There was little to no cheese on the fajitas and the bourbon chicken we ordered. The food was warm, not hot, and fajitas and the bourbon chicken come on hot plates and should be really hot. The sample appetizer we ordered didn't come with the sauces. The people serving us weren't rude, but they barely spoke to us, the hostess didn't greet us even though I greeted her. read more

Went here for dinner. Poor service. Very poor. Had to ask 3 times for silverware and had my friend receive his salad before some silverware. My other guest thought their baked potato soup was undercooked. Taking forever to get simple things or waited 9n to begin with. Got bourbon steak and it was essentially a seared sirloin steak with sauteed white mushrooms and onions. Cooked ok but 16$ for a crap sirloin with no flavor. No flavo at all. We waited over 45 min for appetizers and another 10 mins for soup (no entrees ordered). Not once did the manager ever visit our table until requested at the end. The restaurant was only around half full or less. The Queso and Taco dip was mostly meat, so hard to dip and much spicier than previous Applebee's. Our soups came in different bowls.
