Foods good but they charge for an extra sauce. Really is crazy. If they need more money, raise the price

Zaxby's has great they have good chicken wings, chicken tenders and this is the best place to get them if you want some wings the drive-through is quick. The order is always correct and the people they give you the food is very very nice. I would eat here every day for my chicken wings. Big parking lot double drive-through makes things a lot easier for the customer. Also, the restaurant is very clean bathrooms, clean five stars easily. read more

Coming here was horrible. We ordered two salads. Nether of them had eggs or French fried onions. They didn't give us utensils even after we asked them for some. To add to this, the salads were warm. read more

I walked in expecting some crispy, juicy chicken and maybe a little Southern charm. Instead, I got soggy tenders, wilted crinkle fries, and the unmistakable feeling that no one working there wanted to be. The chicken was somehow both greasy and dry--an impressive culinary paradox. The "Zax Sauce" tasted like it had been sitting out since last week, and the toast? Cardboard might've had more flavor. I asked for extra ranch and got an eye-roll from a lady with the nastiest attitude and a tiny cup half-full. Great customer service, guys. Also, is it Zaxby's policy to use profanity and mistreat one another ? Because that staff is ridiculous Maybe this place used to be good. Maybe I just hit it on the wrong day. Stopped in to get the family dinner and there was a good sized line but it was moving quickly. Ordered up couple sandwiches, a zalad, and 10 chicken zingers heh. Everything was great! read more

Customer service is fantastic! I went here for lunch, and they made a mistake in my order, which I didn't realize till later, but I called the and spoke to Keira and she made it right, and offered to let me drop by later to re-make my order for free! The food at Zaxby's is always consistent. There is always a line at the drive through, no matter what time of day! Sometimes the line is in the street! Don't be in any hurry for your food here!! read more

This negative review isn't from one bad experience, but three. Over the past month, I've order 2 Buffalo blue salads and 1 wings and things on 3 different days. The first salad had a good amount of water in the bottom making the salad very soggy! The second salad had very little lettuce and a LOT of crispy onions. Every bite was filled with crispy onions. It was overbearing. It was like someone accidentally spilled a bag of crispy onions in the salad! Lastly, the boneless wings and things meal is always a fail. The chicken is always dry and hard. The long wait at the window makes your food cold by the time you receive it. Zaxbys isn't worth the money at this location. You ever know the quality of food you're receiving. read more

Two nights ago I ordered a Club Zalad from Zaxby's over the hill from my house. Last time I ordered it I was disappointed because it was not made as well as it had been in the past (past as in a long while back because I have been ordering other menu items), thought maybe they were having a bad day and the person that made it might be new. Well, some thing must have happened this time too. I don't know about you but I thought at one time when we ordered a Zalad the meat on top was like a whole breast cut up and layed on top. There was not much chicken on top, more crunchy crust than anything else. As for the bacon....did they eat my bacon and leave a sample over to the side, just a sample. I remember when they actually put BACON on the side to break up on my Zalad or just eat and enjoy. Not no more. I use to order their Zin... Zalad with the eggroll but twice in a row they gypped me on lettuce. Looked like half a Zalad. Seems like they are really cutting back on our Zalads in Sumter. They need to cut back the price too if they are going to serve less food. If you want an amazing Zaxby's Zalad, go to Hartsville SC, they actually fill your bowl/Zalad container up like they show in the ads. You get a good serving of chicken, looks like a whole cut up breast and you get BACON on the Club Zalab. Well satisfied with their quality of food, the amount and service there. I got my wings and they were cold as if they just came out of a fridge, it makes you think how long cooked wings had to sit out to get that cold. I didn't even eat any of it I threw my plate in the trash.. read more

I ordered two buffalo blu chicken salads with no tomato..they totally put tomatoes..i called and the manager said for me to come by and get another..i did and the salad was horrible..they were very small salads..not big as they used to make them..so disappointed! I will not be going there anymore..waste of money..before Zaxbys used to have good portions and now for the money they hardly give you anything..so upset..used to love this place.. read more

I had some bad experiences in the past with this zaxbys but the food is good so I gave them another chance. Well this is my 2 out of 3 zaxbys experience. Experience 1 waited 35 min for a salad that's right a salad and they got it wrong and forgot the extra dressing I asked for. Guess the crew was having too much fun playing behind the counter to worry about a paying customer. Experience 2 everything was great people were nice and working hard a little wait but it was all good I was really impressed. Experience 3 waited 40 min. On a wings and things and a salad . Noticed a bag that has been setting on the counter for a while but they never called my name after asking about the bag I was told oh yea that's yours.No sorry no my bad no nothing . And it was wrong , seems to me like they need to make some serious management and employee changes. read more

Waited 20 mins in line, and when I finally got to the window waited another 15 mins before anyone ever greeted me. Then they tell me they don't have something in my order. When I finally get home with the food, they had no sauce that was supposed to be in the meal and the boneless wings I had gotten were rock hard so I could not even eat them. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Ordered a buffalo and blue salad. The salad had approximately 3 tablespoons of water in the bottom of the bowl.... the salad was gross.

Very convenient for us to get dinner when we really don't want to cook. Good food and service is great.

The wings and things everything nuclear with a basket of Texas toast is my favorite! The reasons I have this place 4stars is because 1. It's very expensive and 2. They usually mess up my order when I ask for everything nuclear. read more

I'm giving this Zaxbys 4 stars because, in general, they have excellent service and great food. Tonight I ordered a chicken salad sandwich thru the drive thru. Had I ordered and dined in, I would have taken it back. Their chicken salad is good. But compared to the photo, the small, limp pieces of bread had a smear of chicken salad and a limp slice of tomato. Normally, you have to have a fork to eat all of the chicken salad on this one. Not today. Slipped by quality control! I'll definitely go back, but will check that sandwich before leaving the drive thru! read more

This makes the second time in a row I've asked that I get a little sauce in the bottom of the tray with my wings as I don't like dry wings. Both times I was ignored and opened my tray only to find dry wings inside.I will not go back to Zaxbies for wings again. read more

Saw good rating so made it out to Zaxby's for the first time. It was disappointing. We picked 2 out of Most Popular menu, Buffalo wings & Things and Buffalo Chicken Finger plate. It wasn't busy but we waited over 10 min to get our food. My buffalo wings were cold and chicken wings & french fries were hot. It looks like they didn't time them right. One real bad thing about this experience was that it looks like either ice machine or water hose was broke. The water was dripping from the cabinet and was all over the floor. I almost slipped and felt. Also, soda fountain was broke and one old lady asked the cashier if it's broken the reply was "i don't know. she was working on it" then continue to take customer. the old lady went back to machine and kept trying. bad customer service. Food was mediocre, hygiene of the place was below average (sticky chairs, food scraps on the floor) and customer service was poor. 3 strikes. read more
