5/3/2025- Stopped by Zaxby's in Woodstock Georgia for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. I had their Kickin' chicken sandwich served on Texas toast for $6.19 -- it was good and had a nice kick of spice. The sandwich was hot, crispy, and satisfying. I paired it with a side of their Tongue Torch sauce, which lived up to its name -- spicy but packed with great flavor. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable atmosphere for a casual meal. All in all, it was a solid experience, and I'd definitely return next time I'm in the area. read more

Worst service I've experienced. I placed my order online at 11:00 because the website said they close at 12:00. When I got to the drive-thru, the employee was extremely rude and gave me a lot of attitude. If the restaurant stops taking orders before closing, they need to update their hours or website instead of blaming customers for ordering when it says they're open. I stopped coming here about a couple of years ago because the wait time was so long. Once I sat at the drive thru for 25 minutes waiting on an order of Chicken salad and some wings..... After that experience I started going to the one in Holly Springs by the QT which is now my go to place....but today I was at my Vet up the street (Animal Hospital at Town Lake) and d ecided to give these guys another shot....I got a chicken finger sandwich meal with fries and a drink for about $7 bucks and change. The food was good and the service was fine. There are alot of negative reviews on this Zaxby's, WOW. Personally I have had no negative experiences at this establishment. They have gotten the sauces that I ordered wrong a couple of times. So slow that the person taking trash out the back had to wait forever for cars to move so she could get through. Waiting 20 minutes for food and had to pull up. Drinks are getting hot. We ordered the southern fried shrimp in order to sample the latest menu item. I would not recommend it as it is mostly breading. I can say that it is beautifully prepared - nice and crispy. The sauce that goes with it is horseradishy and compliments the shrimp. The service at this particular Zaxby's was very nice and quick. On a lark, I decided to try the funnel cake. What a mistake that was! It's hard to believe that there's a tough funnel cake OK but indeed, it was truly tough. After that it was soaked in grease.and topped with powdered sugar. I suspect that these come frozen in a box that folks have to cook when it gets to the store but I strongly suggest that you do not buy this unless you're into a tough greaseball. read more

Waited over twenty minutes to get our dine in order at 3pm when the dining room was all but empty and the drive through was the same. Kids grilled cheese, a salad and wings. Not complicated. The lady working at the register apologized (which was a nice gesture) and told me she ended up having to go back to the kitchen and make our food herself. Typical Zaxby's staffed by mindless testosterone filled high school kids from the area more interested in mating rituals than customer service. Last night there was a lot of horse play going on behind the drive-up window coupled by several scantly clad young ladies standing in front of the window adding to the fray!! I had to wait several minutes while they completed their conversation before I could pull up. I agree with the other reviewer that the place was pretty dirty the one time I didn't use the drive up. I like their Chicken Finger Plate and their Teriyaki Wings are pretty good too regardless of the staffs service skills but have to take away a star for that!! read more

This worst Zaxby's i have ever been to. I ordered my food and made sure to tell them extra seasoning on frys and made sure to say no ranch instead 2 zaxs sauces. I end up getting home finding out they gave me 2 ranches and no zaxs sauces. I end up call the store and speaking the the manager 06/01/2021 6:03pm. He spoke to me and told he couldn't do anything with a proof of purchase. Minutes later i find my receipt and realize they even charged me for 2 zaxs sauces i never got. Ive called the store 13 times and it looks like they disconnected there phones. I guess im not the only one who got there order messed up and they dont wanna do anything about it. Worst zaxbys ever. They tell you there will be a 20 minute wait and don't say why. Even when you're the only car in the drive thru. Then they won't take your order because they want you to just leave. This has happened multiple times. I used to work for zaxbys and I can't think of anything that requires twenty minutes in an empty drive thru without an order even being placed. read more

Almost 4 years later and my review is still valid. lol It's now WAY too convenient to go to this location vs another and my kids want it sometimes. But they still consistently get even the simplest of orders wrong and almost always forget the extra sauces, or if they remember you get the wrong one. And their customer service is amongst the worst. But then again, I have yet to see the same cashier more than once so it's clear the turn over is high. read more

Put my food upside down in the bag and my hot sauce was all over everything. My order sat behind the counter for 10 minutes as we waiting for someone to come up to us. When they finally did we were given indirect attitude and no sauce or silver ware. I would absolutely get a refund but I'm sure no one in the facility will even know how to perform a refund. I'm certain that this place will make headlines for getting half the Woodstock community sick. I vowed to never eat here again and I intended on that to remain a true statement but I was asked what I wanted from zaxbys by a family member and didn't think going to this zax was going to be an option. I swear on my mother that when I opened the box I instantly asked "Did you goto the towne lake Zax?" Then came an answer I didn't need... "Yes".. The wings, as you will see in a picture are undercooked and mushy. The fried were burnt and hard and the fingers were dry as if they were there for a while already. Placed an online order for a grilled cheese kids meal and a chocolate chip cookie. I checked in with the front when we arrived and was told they'd let us know when it was ready. I checked back after 20 minutes. Nope. the cashier told the kitchen staff we were waiting and assured us they'd have it out momentarily. We thanked them and stepped back to continue waiting. Another 20 minutes goes by and I waited in line again and told them I couldn't wait any longer, I needed to cancel my order. This is when the cashier produces a sealed bag that had been sitting behind the counter for 20 minutes. We took our cold grilled cheese home, minus the kids toy and chocolate chip cookie we ordered that were MIA. We placed the order at 5:54 and received it, cold and incomplete, at 6:40. Well, I decided to visit my neighborhood Zaxby's today while Christmas shopping, hadn't been there in a while. What a disappointment with this particular location. The bathroom had no running hot water, and the paper towel dispensers did not operate. One was empty anyway the other would not function. The order process went very smooth, thanks to the young lady at the order window. After receiving my order I noticed the ketchup dispenser was not working. The lid to it was not seated correctly, so I fixed it and worked. The condiment area was messy with ketchup spills and paper from the straws. I wanted to get some napkins from the dispenser at the self serve area and noticed it was empty. I approached the counter and there was a heavy set male talking to some workers in the kitchen area. I asked this employee for some napkins, telling him the dispenser was empty. Neither this employee nor the other employee standing nearby acknowledged my request. Thinking they couldn't hear me over the operational noises of the restaurant, I again asked for some napkins. This heavy set individual turned to me and said "we'll get to it in a minute". Really, WTF! Just hand me a napkin moron! Finally, the second employee came around and filled the empty napkin dispenser. Side note, he never cleaned that area of the straw paper covers and ketchup. The sandwich was not hot; but interestingly enough the fries were. So much for food prep consistency folks. Then there was some lady (not in Zaxby's uniform) going around the restaurant cleaning up after customers; spraying table tops and the counter around the self serve area, then wiping them down. The over-spray from this cleaner was hitting the soda lids at the self serve counter; thereby contaminating them - food safety 101 here folks. She offered to re-fill my soda cup, I polity declined the offer. If this person is in fact an employee (which I seriously doubt), please put them in uniform so customers know she has passed the proper training required to successfully complete her job. I will NEVER return to this Zaxby's location again. read more
