I just want to share my experience at North salon my 14 YO daughter got her haircut by Lizzie and she did such an amazing job it came out wonderfully!!! While my daughter was getting her haircut I was speaking with Lizzie and I showed her my own hair which I hadn't cut in quite some time Due to an incident where I had to chop off a large section in the back as it caught fire honestly was too discouraged to even go to a salon I figured there was no helping it other than Cutting the rest of my hair off so I just wore a ponytail decided to let it grow out but Lizzie was so sweet and assured me she could blend it in enough that I could wear my hair down again and not lose my length sooo I made the appt. with her a week later and let me tell you she worked miracles you can't even tell my hair came out beautifully and I am so thankful!!!! Lauren does amazing color and cuts. I get my roots, balayage highlights, and haircuts at Salon North. She always carefully talks through what look I'm hoping to achieve, and always delivers on exactly what I want. She has helped me figure out what would look best for my hair type and coloring too. She definitely have a gift for hair and is extremely passionate about her work. She will not stop til you absolutely love your look, which I really appreciate. The space is chic and cute with little chandeliers and high end hair products. Parking is easy and plentiful. The online booking system is easy and convenient, and I like that I get a reminder/confirmation email a day or two before my appointments. I have recommended Salon North to all my NH friends who are looking for a stylist, and I myself travel up from Boston. 10 years ago, new to the area, I ended up on Alyssa's chair for a haircut. Needless to say, I have not let anyone else touch my hair since then and have followed her wherever she went. So happy with her new home at Salon North, love the boutique feel of the place, it's cute, stylish and Alyssa fits right in. As far as her talents, from pixie cuts to long bobs, dark auburn to balyage, she has done it all! Just recently moved to the Hooksett/Manchester area and needed some extreme color correction after I spontaneously died my hair myself. My mom booked an appointment at Salon North, with Lauren, as a surprise 21st birthday present. After she heard it was my birthday, she fit me into her schedule. She offered me refreshments and was very thorough in explaining the process. Her staff were upbeat and welcoming and the environment was very relaxing. Lauren transformed what was a splotchy yellow, at home bleach job, into a brighter, toned blonde. I have been going to see Lauren at Salon North for two years now. She runs an incredible business and all the stylists there are super helpful and nice. I found Salon North in December and wished I had known of it many years ago. The salon is clean, pretty and a very welcoming environment. Lauren was beyond amazing as she really listened to my hopes and concerns with my very short, fine thin hair. I followed my hairdresser Alyssa to Salon North and am happy to highly recommend both the salon and Alyssa. Great location, with a cozy, modern look, and nice people. Alyssa is a wonderful hairstylist, in fact, she is one of the few I have met who can actually control my hair. Several coworkers have commented on how much better my hair looks now. She is very knowledgeable about the technical details of coloring, cutting, extensions, etc, and is great at figuring out what you want. I can't even begin to explain the amazing skills Anjali has with everything she does. I have been getting my eyebrows threading done by her for years and I will never go to anybody else. She also does facials and I always get compliments by friends and family afterwards. What a nice way to relax every month! Her skills with the eyelash extensions should be on the magazines. I called Salon North in a panic after a "balayage" gone very wrong and Kaylie not only fixed it completely and gave me exactly what I wanted, but made me feel so comfortable that I will now only be going to see her and Salon North, after almost 20 years at another salon. I had a great experience at salon north. Stylist Alinah fulfilled all my wishes and went above and beyond for my expectations. She was so nice and did a great job on my hair. I got a blonde balayage a few weeks ago at another salon, hated how orange it was, and put the wrong toner in, which resulted in my hair going back to its original dirty blonde color. I wanted a more ashy look, so I got a full foil and toner that made it less orangy. My hair looks great now and I left the salon smiling!!! read more

This salon is so cute! All the details are adorable. Love love love getting my lashes done by Anjali!! I always get sooo many compliments after an appointment, so it's worth laying down and relaxing every few weeks while she works her magic. Her threading is also amazing, she makes my brows so neat and clean. Facials are always nice when I can treat myself. The parking is so easy in the north end and their hours make it easy to go after a long workday. So happy with Salon North! read more

What a little gem tucked into the north end! I had my first appointment there and saw Terry & got the best haircut I've ever had! He took his time and really listened to what I was looking for. It was a very relaxing experience, I didn't feel rushed at all and he is super super knowledgeable (and talented)! I have very thick hair and she walked me through what she needed to do for my hair to get the look I wanted, with the cut, products and how to style it.
