I got a touch up (color) on my roots, no cut, only color on the top. I was charged $400! I asked why it was so expensive, they said that the lady that colored my hair had lots of experience. On the positive, my hair looked great, but it could have looked that good with only a $60 price. read more

Me and my friend called to see if we could schedule a last minute walk in for two the day before thanksgiving and they were able to get us in within the hour! Natalie at front desk was super attentive and kind, and Leah was our stylist! She was insanely good and gave us exactly the cut we were wanting! First vist for a cut with Savannah. Loved the experience! She took the time to ask what I wanted and gave me a beautiful cut. And, when I shared some feedback after it was styled, she happily made a few adjustments. Although I hadn't planned to, I purchased a couple of products that were better suited for my hair than what I'm currently using. For context, I have been getting my hair bleached blonde for several years and I am in my twenties. I've been coming here since 2017 and I have loved it ever since! My initial stylist ended up moving so I switched to Paola! She is amazing and quite talented! She keeps my blonde perfect and she's a pleasure to be around, very fun and upbeat. The service to too long and the woman who did my hair wasn't very friendly. I was constantly being up-sold, pushed to buy their products (I don't like L'Oréal) or some service. they will do in a pinch, and keep track of what was done so you can have any stylist very convenient clean location easygoing and stylists seem to work well together two locations - one by Target probably just me but creepy vibe like one stylist I tried said to me "I give you nice shampoo" and it was absolutely an awful shampoo. Just don't say anything. The stylists there act like they know everything, and the music is from last century. If I'm spending 2+ hours withs someone don't be annoying the other location is a younger hipper vibe but don't expect to have the same stylist more than a few months at the most they move on pretty quick. Very meh blowout, unenthusiastic, one star knocked down for above, another for being outrageously expensive. read more

Zeba Hair Salon is located on Johnsons Ferry Road in Marietta. A road I take to work everyday. I decided to stop in one day and saw Sima. Sima used to cut my hair when I was in college back in 1996 (i know...long time ago). It was so wonderful to see her and see a familiar face. I went in for highlights and a hair cut. She assigned me to a hair dresser named Manami, and told me she was the best. Manami is so cute, personable and so sweet. She took care of me very well, and listened to what I wanted, and delivered it with great results. The staff at Zeba are not only beautiful, but so helpful and very hospitable. All the customers that came in left happy. And all the customers that came in knew the stylists and the staff on first name basis. You are served with hot tea and pastries as you wait. The staff works together for their customers. It's like a family and you feel like a part of their family when you are there. It's a great feeling and so relaxing!!! Zeba hair salon is a wonderful place to get your hair done! The ladies are warm and welcoming. You can see their camaraderie when they are working. You are always greeted as soon as you enter, offered coffee, water. Appointments are always on time. Alma does my hair and she is the best. She has a very friendly personality. She knows her job and works very well with your hair. If you want snooty hairdressers, over the top music and be disregarded of how 'you' want your hair - then don't go here. However, if you like to discuss your hair, speak about the new colours you like to experiment, enjoy awesome almond biscotti' with coffee, this is the place to go. read more

Sima did a great job on my color correction and Fatemah did wonderful on my cut. I have been searching for a salon to be my go-salon since moving down to GA and I think I finally found it! Everyone who works there is wonderful and I saw how they treated and interacted with their other clients and saw nothing but smiles as people came in and went out. I originally went in last week as a new client for a haircut and color. Sima looked at my hair and the bad job that was done before me and honestly evaluated what she thought I should do to correct it. The previous place I had gone to did a blotchy job of a 'balayage.' Sima suggested I get the haircut that day and come in next week (today) to do the color as it would take longer than originally anticipated. It did cost more than the new client price since it required a more advanced level of work but she was honest with me and I appreciated it. It didn't feel like she was just trying to make more money. I had Fatemah cut my hair (I absolutely loved the fact that she listened to my fear of getting too much cut off which has always happened to me!) and did an amazing job. I then scheduled to come in Today for the color correction and lowlights and highlights put in. Sima took her time -I was in at 11:30-2:30 and the result is something I love! I will definitely be returning here next time and will be recommending both Fatemah and Sima to my friends and coworkers! This hair salon and I got off to a rocky start, but they went out of their way to make things up to me. The first time I went in, I went for highlights and a trim. I have really long, thick hair, and I had made the appt only that morning, and I think they were in a rush and didn't take the extensive amount of time necessary for hair like mine. However, after a few weeks, I was so unhappy with the way it had turned out, especially after paying about $200 for everything, that I called them up and asked them if they would fix it. I was able to talk to Sima, the owner, about the situation and she was extraordinarily accommodating. She got me in the next weekend and she redid the highlights herself. She did an amazing job, and was able to make it look exactly like what I was hoping for the first time around. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results, and while I was sitting under the heater, she even sat my husband down (who had been out with me that day and was just sitting in the waiting room) and cleaned up his neckline and gave him a quick trim! That showed me that Sima really cared about making my first negative experience into a more than positive experience, and it worked! Everyone there was so pleasant, my first visit and my second, and I will definitely be going back to see Sima when this starts to grow out! I am finally having my wedding in November, and the way Sima went out of her way to show me that customer service and satisfaction were so important to her makes her the first person I think of when I am planning my hair for the big day! Bottom line, mistakes happen, but it is the mark of a great company when they are willing to recognize them and do whatever it takes to make it right. I highly recommend Sima and her crew! read more

They are reasonably priced. The staff is very welcoming, and accommodating, especially for a walk in. However they do prefer cash for tips, but if you didn't know that they will give you a "free pass" (allowing you to add the tip on the receipt), the stylists seem very knowledgeable when it comes to hair and are willing to educate you on what products maybe to harsh for your hair. The wash was nice and they hair did feel really relaxed, the stylist took her time to make sure the cut was up to expectations, not just mine but hers as well. I went to Zeba Hair Salon at Shallowford Falls in desperation. My hair was horribly cut and a mess from over processing (and a color that defies description). Shannon is a magician! She was very attentive to my concerns and my hoped for outcome. I left with soft, shiny hair that had been cut to perfection. The color was better than but looked like it was natural. I will be a regular customer and will go to Shannon for cut and color from now on. It's a lovely salon too. It's been so long since I looked in a mirror and thought my hair looked nice. We came to get my husband and son's hair cut. They both have a lot of hair and want an actual style, not just a buzz cut. (This is why we go to a salon and not a barbershop or kids cut place). My husband liked his stylist personality wise but was very unhappy with his haircut. It looked like a bowlcut in front. Not much texture to it,very boxy on back, which is not what he wanted. Two weeks later (I always say 2 weeks to a good haircut) it still doesn't look good. My son is a toddler. His stylist was behind so another stylist said she would cut his hair. She wasn't good with kids. Put a clip in his hair, which I later found out he hated, and he screamed. He wouldn't let her do anything at first.she was visibly frustrated and my son was definitely feeling that from her. She left saying let him calm down (he was calm. He didn't want her touching his hair and this is not his first rodeo. Tons of hair = over 10 haircuts and he's almost 3). When she left I asked him what was wrong. He pointed to the clip and said "I don't want that". So he ended up being fine with the cut. Just that. A cut. No style though I showed her pictures. She did it as fast as she could and 2 weeks later it still looks bad. Worst cut he's ever had. We won't be going back. Thank goodness I didn't get my haircut too. read more

I saw Nina to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. I spent a few minutes in her chair carefully describing that I liked my eyebrows full, had grown them out for the last 9 months, had a previous bad experience, that i was very particular, and did not want her to go beyond the natural brow line. I wanted them cleaned up and left full. She laid me back in a shampoo bowl and proceeded to make a debacle of my eyebrows. When I sat up to look at them, I immediately saw that she had threaded off way too much brow from the inside of my left eyebrow and it was totally asymmetrical. Were it not for Nina's response, I probably would not have left this review. When I told her and showed her, she said my eyebrow was like that when I came in. So, if she messes up, be prepared for her not to take responsibility but blame it on a preexisting condition. I asked her why the other one was normal and she asked me to lay back so she could even them up and take more off the other one and I said no way. She said that I could grow it out and I told her I really didn't have a choice, did I? So then she says that eyebrows are naturally asymmetrical. UGH!!! As we were walking to the register, she proceeds to tell me what a beautiful woman I am...How nice my bag is??? Never- I'm really sorry I just f'ed up your eyebrows lady. When I got to the car and really took a good look at my eyebrows, I noticed that the right one stopped abruptly and didn't have a nice ending I had there before she threaded it off. I still had the nice ending on the right side- where the inside was f'ed up. I walked out without tipping her, but I'm actually mad at myself that I even paid. I have never had both wax and threading used at the same time, but now I know she does this because she is not skilled enough to just use threading. It takes skill and a good eye to do eyebrows properly and if you don't have that skill, don't act like you do and charge to perform the service. It is two days later and I'm sooooo sad about my eyebrows ;-( I feel them with my fingers over and over hoping they will reappear. Now that the welts are down from her inexpert threading, I can see scraggly hairs where my brows use to be long and now they are short and squat. Devastating. Shame on you for doing this Nina. I sat there in your chair and told you exactly what I wanted. If you didn't have the skills to deliver, then you shouldn't have done the work. I know what you did now- you screwed up and threaded off the end of my right eyebrow and you had to pull hairs from the left side to make it look even. So sad. read more

All the people that work here are great and they are just at good at doing hair. I know this isn't a typical guys place but trust me guys you won't be disappointed if you go here and get a hair cut. The prices are certainly higher than other places but they do provide a great service and atmosphere. Also I can walk in at any time and say "suprise me" and they do that everytime and I'm always happy with it. I'll pay extra for that. read more

I have just had my 6th cut and color at Zeba's today. As someone who really struggled to find a hairdresser that could provide my difficult coarse hair with a good cut, I couldn't be happier. Six good haircuts in a row? That's a great run for me! I really like Nina, although I believe all the hairdressers to be really competent. Nina has a very good eye for detail and spend a lot of time getting the cut just right. I love that I never feel rushed when I'm in here (I usually visit on a week morning), and that all the staff makes me feel welcome, relaxed and pampered. I have also been letting Nina do my eyebrows and I have been very happy with the results. I do not like overly plucked brows, and I have never felt that she took off more than was necessary. Called for bridal consultation for on site hair and makeup. Booked it for today. Stylist Informs me they don't do on site services. That wasn't a good start. She had to backtrack shortly thereafter my mini stroke. She had NO idea what to do with my super thick shoulder length hair. Pins were falling out and hair was everywhere!!! Style took 2 hours and was far from perfect and definitely not wedding worthy. She also did my makeup, which was also a disaster. So much so I didn't even let her finish. I requested someone familiar with red heads and it was obvious she wasn't at all. I left terribly upset and back at square one for finding someone to make me glamorous for my big day read more

it's been about a month since I had my hair foiled going blonde and I had such high hopes coming in . With in this past week A LOT of my hair has been falling out ( I use salon quality conditioner and shampoo as well as masks for my hair , knowing I want to keep my hair healthy). I have had people mess my eyebrows up but she never has. That is the most important thing to me is to have straight eyebrows and they always are when I see Nina. I've been in the area all my life, many salons around the area have come and gone. When I first came into the salon the staff was very professional and kept with the appointment as scheduled. At the time I had recently changed hair dressers and was assigned Paige. My experience there was absolutely fantastic! I have never received a better cut in my life. First at the shampoo bowl I received the finest treatment and a head massage. Next while in the chair Paige listened to my ideal style while adding some constructive ideas to the cut.
