Let me start by saying that this review is just for the Bob Steele Roswell location and stylist Darlin. My appointment with Darlin was THE WORST salon experience that I've ever had. I was pretty clear with the (not complicated!) inspo pic. What I ended up with was uneven, yellow and orange, and hideous. At the end, I was not happy, so she applied gloss (charged me twice for gloss!)? By that point, she had another client so the receptionist came over to mist the color off and sent me on my way - THERE WAS STILL PRODUCT ON MY HAIR WHEN I GOT HOME. The color was awful, the cut was awful. Attached is a photo showing Darlin's work, this taken at the color correction appointment. Sincerely think twice before seeing her for your hair. I will say that the Bob Steele organization as a whole was great about fixing the situation. Manager Jennifer was amazing and really listened to me. She really made it right and set me up with a different stylist at a different location. read more

Jazmin is excellent with color and styling! I've been a client for two years and always walk away happy with what she's done.

I got scalped. Stylist just kept razoring my hair shorter. Not sure why. Haircut does not match my sample haircut picture. Much shorted.

Have been their client since 2020. Never returned home dissatisfied, always happy. Shannon was a great sliylist and I miss her, but Cora is amazing and she is my go to now. Clean and beautiful inside. Online booking is game changer. read more

I used to go to Atlanta one for years, loved it, Ben White was amazing!! So, thought I would try the Roswell one recently, went twice, this past experience has left me sad and frustrated, my hair does not look like the picture I showed the stylist, I wanted a blunt crop cut, instead I got the longer hair in front, layers in back, which are random strange layers - which I specifically said I did not want. I tried calling to make an appt for my son, as the time before I'd booked online and they had no record of the appt. no one answered the phone after 20 minutes so I booked online through their website. We showed up this morning only to find put they didn't have the appt down...AGAIN! There was nothing done to try and make it better or help at all. I'm done bringing my teens there! What happened to customer service? And seriously. Fix your damn website. read more

I've been coming to this salon for almost 10 years! Highly recommend, all of the stylists are wonderful and they actually listen when you tell them what you want! I've never left with anything other than perfect hair :) Whitney is my go-to girl. She's usually booked solid a month out but if you can get an appointment with her, you won't be disappointed! They also carry GloMinerals makeup products. I've never gotten my makeup done here but I have used the products and they're nice. read more

Let me just preface this review by saying I'm not one to leave a bad review typically. And I always give second chances. I've been to this location twice before and have been to other Bob Steele locations in Atlanta and never had a problem. This visit was enough to where I don't plan on returning. I got here early for my appointment. The stylist came out to get me at least 15 minutes after my appointment time. That kind of thing is understandable, but it would have been nice if one of the two women at the front counter or my stylist had acknowledged my wait. I was directed to get my own coffee. During my shampoo, part of the sink broke off and hit me on the head. I discussed thoroughly what I wanted with my stylist. Pretty simple. Long hair with bangs. I've had the same haircut for the better part of a decade. I even showed pictures. I thought we were on the same page. When the stylist turned me around to show the finished product, I was in shock. I looked like one of the Three Stooges. Not only was it not what I asked for, but it looked just flat out bad. And she had to know that it looked bad. She could tell I hated it and at least attempted to fix it. So I give her that. The icing on the cake is when I went to pay, and I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I figured out the amount in my head and told the woman at the front register. She told me, "Oh, that's 21% so that's what most people would leave." Telling someone how much they should leave for gratuity when they're not even happy with the service is pretty wild in my book. The only reason I left one at all is: a) I'm a sucker who always leaves a tip. b) The stylist did seem to do her best to fix my hair when I said I was unhappy. I get my hair cut usually only 2-3 times a year. Now I have to shell out for another haircut elsewhere to get this one repaired. read more

No complaints, Cora was on-time, and very professional! Everyone greeted me as soon as I came in the door. Horrible customer service. I have been going to the Alpharetta location for years and never had any issues of over charging. Now after 9 years of going there they want to over charge me bc my hair is long. My hair length never changed in all these years. They want to tack on $20. Do they think people are dumb. 15 minute wait without acknowledgement. First time a haircut has ever aged me. I'm not too sure about this cut. Ugh. The salon looks really pretty. It's got that going on. I may have to do a redo somewhere else. Wouldn't go back. read more

Charlie is amazing! Heath is also hugely helpful and the staff are always sweet! These stylists are top notch.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had an appointment and on google GPS took me to a wrong location. After calling and saying I couldn't find them they tell me their right location...which was 20 mins away now. I explained I am only here for a day as I do not live in GA and I was told that Sarah the stylist would not wait. I would like to add I was getting basic color nothing fancy, no highlights, no baylage or anything of that nature and she still couldn't make an accommodation. It's one thing if you're just flat out crazy late for an appointment but if the lateness is caused by your own businesses google search then there should be an accommodation. I even offered to send them the screenshot of the search and the address that it pulled up but NO this establishment would not help in any way. When asked to speak to a supervisor or manager I was told that I could call back tomorrow. Extremely disappointed. I've had my hair done here every time which is why I only do it when I travel back to town but I'll never go here again. read more
