She set up a clear care plan for me to return every two months for nail trims to keep the issue under control. Unfortunately, she is currently out on FMLA, and the practice rescheduled me for an 8:00 AM appointment today with a different provider, Andrew. It ended up being a complete waste of my time. He completely disregarded the established care plan my doctor had set up, leaving me frustrated and without the care I came in for. If a practice operates by shuffling patients between different providers, they need to maintain clear, central medical notes so everyone stays on the same page. Having to start from scratch and fight against a previously agreed-upon treatment plan is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience, and I won't be returning.

(We have had experience getting another toe taken care of before we moved to California and thought it would be a straightforward surgery.) This time it was multiple visits, constant infection and pain. It took months before the infection was totally gone. At times my wife felt her infected toe was an annoyance to the doctor. And now, unfortunately, my wife is left with a disfigured big toe that will never have a normal toe nail ever again. (see picture) We do not recommend Dr. Erickson.

It's a little bit of a hunt to find the office, but it's worth it. She took my case seriously, got x-rays, and then give my foot a thorough exam. I admit I screamed a few times, but it was good pain. She isolated the problem to a few possibilities, and suggested an MRI, which I'll be getting soon. I was impressed with Dr Erickson's grasp of her field. It's not often I encounter someone so capable. (And we engineers are not easily impressed.) Dr. Erickson is clearly an extraordinarily intelligent person. I'm pretty sure she's a rocket scientist or a quantum physicist in her spare time.

What I enjoyed most about him is how caring he is towards his patients. He treats you with Respect and doesn't rush you during your exam/appt.  either.
