I reached out to several electricians to obtain a quote for installing a Tesla EV Charger in my home. Henry was the first (and very quick) to get back to me. He came out to look at my place and provide an estimate. Not only was Henry's estimate very reasonable, but he was the only one who designed the install in a way that would minimize visible conduit or holes to the drywall on the inside of my house which I really appreciated. The job quoted included an installation of a 60amp breaker to my electrical panel, the running of the electrical through the inside of my home and then out to the garage and the installation of the Tesla Charger. Henry and his team came out lastweek to do the install. They did an excellent job and were extremely professional! They put down plastic to protect my interior floors and did a great job cleaning up after themselves when they were finished. Henry also connected the charger to my WiFi and made sure it was working properly before he left. They also finished the job a lot quicker than I had expected. I typically don't write reviews (shame on me), but I feel compelled to share how great my experience was with Zel Electric. Henry responded to my request for a quote in minutes, and it didn't take long for him to breakdown the pricing, what I should expect, timing for completion, etc. On the day of the install, he called to inform me that he would be a few hours early (how dare he), and that he hoped that wouldn't be an inconvenience. It wasn't. He arrived promptly and I showed him to the location where I wanted the charger to be installed. He said okay, and proceeded to do work. Henry was responsive and reliable. I hired him to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet to charge my Tesla in my garage. He is a Tesla certified electrician and offered a really competitive rate. He finished everything nice and fast within an hour and left no mess behind. The charging speed went from 4mile/hour to 24mile/hour after the installation. Upon finishing the job, I was happy with the result and trusted him with another job on-site (to fix the doorbell - turns out our transformer was broken and chime was burnt and he replaced both). Henry and German were absolutely excellent. I first hired them to install a 220v outlet for charging my electric vehicle. I then asked them to come back to install a light fixture in a bedroom that didn't have an overhead light. While here they also installed an extra outlet in the kitchen area and fixed some faulty wiring that was preventing a light switch from working properly. I feel like their prices are fair/ reasonable. They charged more than $100 less for the 220v than the first electrician I called. We will be hiring them again soon for another light fixture install.
