The owner is truly gracious and helpful, without hovering and will even help you decide to put something back if it isn't exactly perfect for what you're looking for. (WHAT?? Who does that???) Her staff are likewise delightful. I can not walk out of that place without having found my new most favorite thing to wear. From shoes to office attire to workout stuff to jewelry, I can't get enough. If I could go shopping every single week I would do it there. This place came up when I did some pre-trip research for local consignment and resale shops in Seattle. After checking out some shops in downtown Seattle, I decided to head over to this area to visit this location. It's a cute little shop that sells men's and women's clothing. They have a variety of styles, brands, and price points, with clear signs that indicate where you can find everything in the shop. Sometimes they have racks that are discounted out front before you enter the shop. All of the clothing is consigned and I overheard some clients who made a purchase mention something about redeeming points from past purchases on their current purchase. There was only one gal working the shop that day, but she was attentive and friendly to everyone. Parking options are mainly on the street. You might be able to find a lot, but when I went, I mainly looked for a spot on the street. read more

A consignment shop that wants to provide a boutique experience. I love that notion, but then live to those standards. My experience at Zelda Zonk today would have put the Goodwill to shame. I brought my item to the cash register, the person who was behind the counter was rude, unwelcoming, and honestly soured my entire shopping experience. The item was unceremoniously rolled into a bundle with the receipt slapped on top. The bundle was then shoved towards me. No bag, no thank you. I did then ask for a bag, which was grudgingly provided. It's a shame as I've shopped there a number of times. Do better, please. read more

I loves me some Zelda Zonk. Consigning here is a really easy, stress-free experience. My previous experience with consignment stores was being judged hard by Buffalo Exchange hipsters-- Zelda Zonk is the opposite of that. I also really enjoy the range of options here as a shopper, from casual to dressy. I've gotten a lot of nice office dresses at ZZ. Surprisingly good shoes and purses also. The clothes taken in have really gone downhill since the previous owner. It's over priced for the quality/brand/style. $15 for a top from Target? Used. No thanks. I miss the higher end brands (which I could treat myself to at consignment) and not feeling like I am shopping in my outdated aunt's closet. I'm not young, in my 30's but the selection and prices over the past 4-5 months aren't what they were. Weird jewelry, and almost like the knowledge of price-to-style isn't there. Zelda Zonk ! Zelda Zonk ! Zelda Zonk! Initially, I couldn't even remember the name. Now, it is imprinted in my head! :-) The drive there from Burien (where I live) is very simple and pleasant. It is only 15-20 minutes away depending how busy traffic is. The street parking is easy enough. I won't complain since I own a small vehicle. From the outside looking in, you would think this is a high-end local boutique. However, you'll be blown away by the affordable prices and the fashion selection the owner has put into her shop! Carrie, the owner, is very friendly and does not make you feel the pressure to have to purchase something from the store. I enjoy the selection from the clearance rack because I may be able to find a cute or two pretty items. The clothes displayed inside the store are easy to navigate : size S for dresses in one rack; tank tops in one rack; blouses in one rack; and so on..... I really like The Staff's Favorite selection. I found a cute Loft blouse from that rack, and I knew I had to have it. To be frank, I only have been digging consignment shopping recently. I find shopping at local stores is very fun and not easily overwhelming like you would have experienced at a bigger store or department store. Consignment clothes shopping is fun to me because I'll be honest ... I don't want to spend a ton of $$$ on a brand name item, and I want to be able to afford the piece without dropping more than $50 for one item. Zelda Zonk is a true gem in West Seattle. The sales are great. The prices are already affordable and realistic enough for shoppers. I walked out with 5 items on my first day! Check the store out! You'll love it! I've lived in West Seattle for two years and somehow did not know of this store until today. Amazing selection of dresses, shoes, coats, jeans, accessories. They had a wide variety of brands, but some of my favorites were Theory, Free People, and J Crew. Go support this local business and grab some designer finds while you're at it. Was getting an açaí bowl right next door to this place and my little dog started barking. I looked over and saw a yorkie staring right back at me from a store window. Of course, I lost my ish because my yorkie was in love with the yorkie at Zelda's. Coco and I went in to say hello to the little man, and what should I see but a Prada purse in great condition and at a decent resale price. I snatched that up so fast. Love this shop! Best kept secret in West Seattle. The owner Jenny is very sweet and helpful- I bring things in to consign regularly, and I'm a huge fan of the shop's selection as well. It's quality clothing, not the usual sad things you can find at thrift stores...which I really appreciate! It's nice to chose from gently worn contemporary clothing and not threadbare seconds. Some high end items too- I will never complain about pricing, since a girl's got to make a living to keep a small business alive in this city. What an adorable place! As much as I kinda want to keep this place to myself, I can't help but tell all my friends about this little gem in West Seattle. Carrie, the shop owner, is so sweet and clearly has a love for what she does--it shows. At first glance this store looks more like a high end boutique than a consignment shop (amazing merchandising!), which is a nice change from the tired old racks of clothes I'm used to seeing in second-hand stores. The space is super cute and is very organized, clean and easy to navigate. It's kind of like walking into a big closet full of clothes that are all things I would want to wear, basically a dream come true! Brands are all over the board, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a range of products from Target-brand tops, Lululemon shorts, 7 for all mankind Jeans, Kate Spade accessories and a gorgeous Tory Burch dress all in the same place (and for a great price!). Everything is well-edited and in great condition, and there's a little sale rack with some real steals on it if you look closely! I noticed a wide range of sizes in both clothes and shoes, including plus sizes as well. Me and my daughter stopped at this shop during our weekend of consignment shopping and for our first time there we were impressed with the selection, pricing, and quality! The girl working Saturday 8/18/18 was nice and my teen daughter thought she was cool lol. The quality and bargains are top notch! I drive by Zelda Zonk Consignment every day and I enjoy seeing the creative outfits in the windows, I struggle to put together cute outfits and have picked up something just from the display. I have also consigned with the store a few times. Recently I came in to drop of some clothes and the owner Jen was there. I asked her if she provides styling services and found out she does so I made an appointment to meet with her and get help finding a couple outfits suitable for a work engagement at my company's corporate office. I gave her basic information on my size and what colors and styles I prefer. She did a great job reading between the lines based on what she had seen me wear in the store combined with the information I provided and had selected several pieces for me to try on before I arrived. Right away the first pair of pants were a hit and by the end I had 2 complete outfits including matching necklaces. I really appreciate Jen's help in finding appropriate and stylish outfits and I highly recommend her store and her styling service. read more

As an avid consignment shopper, I'm always excited when I see a new shop pop up...especially when it's in my Admiral neighborhood! This place is a super swanky consignment shop: They have very nice brands, high quality clothes with barely any wear and a big selection for the space. I was able to bring some of my clothes in for her to sell as well and she was really nice about taking some stuff, asking me to bring some back for winter and rejecting at least half. She was picky about choosing but all consignment shops are picky about taking your stuff I have found. Even though this shop is a little more spendy than others in the area, I will definitely go back because the stuff is so good! read more
