I dropped off my artwork and contact information for 3 embroidered or sublimated patches (a Christmas gift) in October and, SEVEN weeks later, in December I still didn't even have a quote. Every time I called I was told 'oh, we will have information and call you next week' and I was NEVER called back - all contact was initiated by ME. In December (3 weeks before Christmas) I was texted that embroidery was not possible, and they would try sublimated. Later (when *I* called to follow up), I was texted that they would try sublimation tomorrow, and the following day I was texted that it was not possible either. I took my project to a competitor that day and it was completed by the end of the week. Zelma's seems to be VERY busy and they are very friendly, but it seems that since I was not a regular or had a big project, my little project would just have to wait until they were caught up, which seems unlikely to ever happen. read more

When my dad passed away I took my locket to Zelma's . I expressed to the owner that I hated to leave it because of how irreplaceable the contents were . She assured me that I wouldn't wait long and that she would call when ready . I wrote the inscription and paid for the engraving . The receipt was then stapled to the paper with the inscription. 3 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything. I called and was told it wasn't ready but it wouldn't be much longer . I stopped in twice more before it was finally ready . I also stated I would love to have it back in time for Veterans Day. ( that didn't happen) When it was finally ready , I couldn't believe my eyes. My father's birthday was incorrect. I asked her for the copy of the paper I wrote the inscription on . Sure enough it was written correctly but had a big staple on the date . To not double check or at least call for clarification with something so important as urn jewelry is not only careless but unacceptable. I asked if it could be redone in anyway. She said the material was too thin to grind it off and re-do . She said " it would look cool with a line through the date . Kind of like a stamp over the top. "I couldn't believe it ! I then had to leave it even longer so that she could do the inscription on the other side . Obviously this entire experience was a debacle. Slow, slow, slow. Really poor service. They don't seem to have time of day unless you have some huge order. Caused us some serious grief on a couple orders. Werent ready on time and was a cause of serious embarrassment. Will go out of town or online next time read more
