I got his contact information and we sat down to discuss the creating a logo for my Tax business. Dane did a fantastic job making something that was "me" and still professional. I love it. So much that I contacted him again to make a custom tattoo for me in honor of my first nephew passing. Dane was patient with me, listened to the emotions I wanted to convey, and created the most perfect design I could have asked for. I recommend Dane to all my clients looking for custom design work.

I have a musical act, a little modern and a little classic, with no real obvious symbology or visual go-to, and I wanted a striking T-shirt that did with an image what I do with sound. I contacted Dane and found him easy to work with, genuinely eager to be part of a creation, and very inspiring. I asked for a design that I could emulsify on to a silk screen and then print T-shirts from. Dane was experienced and knowledgeable with myriad media and instantly understood just what I needed. We talked back and forth about styles and fonts and such which was a fun process because of his amicable nature and deep love of creativity. He made a couple mock-ups, which we discussed and critiqued, and then he would go back to work. The end result is bad to the bone. I love it. I know that I wasn't easy to work with because I have a hard time describing art in words, but Dane found my pulse, if you will, and made a better image than I could've dreamed. He gave me a disc with the files and an original. The price was very reasonable and I was happy to pay it, in part because he communicated his progress with me so I saw the work he put into it. This was the first work of art I have ever commissioned and I feel that I was given a great value. I am so happy that I found Brown's Custom Signs and met Dane Brown.

We went to FedEx and met her, who took the time to politely look into our questions, without hesitation. We've been loyal customers, for about a year. She knows exactly what we need and troubleshoots any issues. Again, taking the consideration and time to help us. We are very grateful and loyal customers, very thankful for some like Brie to help us much gratitude! Don't let previous reviews deter you, no one looks forward to delivering packages. Patience is key thanks B

Went to this FedEx shipping center to return two laptops using a pre-paid QR code. You know, like…read moreit's 2025 and we live in a society. I walked in, smiled, and said, "Hi, how are you?" The woman behind the counter--mid-30s, vibes of "I'm not mad, I'm just permanently disappointed"--looked straight at me and scowled. No "hello," no "how can I help you," not even a grunt. Just pure, dead-eyed loathing. Maybe her cat died. I don't know. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. "I need to mail these two laptops," I said, holding up my tiny tech sacrifices like offerings to the shipping gods. Nope. Even though this is a giant FedEx shipping center, apparently scanning a QR code is too heavy a lift. If I want to complete my mission, I'm gonna need to get in my car and drive 40 minutes to Auburn--because that's where the real magic happens. Final verdict: If you're in Grass Valley or Nevada City and need to ship anything that requires more than a death stare, go to UPS. They're friendly. They might take their sweet time, but at least they know what a box is and how to scan a code. Revolutionary.
