We felt like every sense was catered to. The environment was peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. Laying down for the session was very comfortable and your feet are elevated on a soft comfy incline. Heated pad is placed on your stomach and on your feet. My technician, Mie, had amazing technique scrubbing, exfoliating, massaging, and handling me with care. Wow. That was the most amazing 95 minutes of my life. I went with the Platinum Package and holy cow was it worth it. When you first walk in, you're greeted with warmth and serenity. I immediately felt calm. Going into the room where the magic happens, the vibes were calming and you just knew it was going to be good. They have you change into a towel wrap and take off all jewelry so that nothing gets in the way of the massage. The next 95 minutes cannot be described with the detail it deserves. I booked the silver package for him online with any tech; please be aware this is a $20 booking fee that goes towards your service. Based on his experience, he felt the silver package was more than he expected (he didn't know what to expect). He got a neck/shoulder massage, hair washed, and mini facial. After, he got his hair blow dried, semi styled, and ended with tea and crackers. He loved every minute of it and mentioned wanting to come back weekly lol. First time at Ngoc Maison Spa on a Saturday with 4 of my lovely friends. There were 5 of us and made reservations for the Head Spa Silver Package. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile and greeted. The 2 young ladies at the front desk immediately asked us how they can help us and if we had an appointment. Great customer service and experience for most of us in my friends group with the exception of one of my friends. Ngoc Maison Spa is very clean and has a positive ambiance. It has huge windows in the reception and front desk are so the light brightly shine through the windows. They have refreshments like water with lemon, tea and Nespresso available at the reception area. After check in at the front desk we waited about 15 minutes before each one of us was ushered inside. Once inside we were provided with robes and slippers to change into. Then we were lead into a room with a bed and head showers and curtains in between. The lady that gave my facial and head spa treatment was awesome. Lin was amazing. She was so sweet and her hands were so light weight. She took her time with washing my hair, massaging my scalp and doing my facial. It was great. I highly recommend to ask for Lin for services like head spa and facials. After this experience she helped me get dressed and walked me in another room where she blew dry my hair. Tipped Lin generously with cash. I will definitely book another head spa treatment with Lin. Can't wait. As for one of my lovely friends, she didn't not have the same experience as the rest of us in our friend group. Her head spa treatment was short and rushed as well as her facial. The girl that took care of her also took 2 phone calls during her head spa and facial. This was my first time visiting Ngọc Maison Spa, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Khanh Camille took care of me , she was gentle, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I saw clumps of hair on the floor by the hair-drying station, but I don't think it was intentional negligence. Their lighting is soft and dim, so it's easy to miss fine hair on the floor. I don't hold it against them because it doesn't directly affect my experience. Just a perfectionist observation. Hair/Face Products: 8/10 Decent products with good scents. If you don't want any scent, I don't know what to tell you... Ask if they carry unscented products, or maybe bring your own? My experience in detail: Note: I KNOW headspas, it's something I do regularly for YEARS. I've tried ~7 different headspas in OC, ~2 in LA, and ~5 in Norcal, and the reason this place is #1 on my list is the techs (that's their strongest differentiator rn). The first tech who worked on me (I forgot her name) really impressed me, so I decided to come back again. I've come back 3 additional times now (so 4 total at the time of this review), a different tech named Mie has been taking care of me since. Something I often evaluate at a headspa is: "Do they only have a single superstar or are ALL of their techs equally competent?" And it's the latter. This is important to me because I don't want to get anxiety if my usual tech isn't available and someone else would be taking care of me. I expect consistent quality regardless of who works on me. Pricing is fair, considering there is so much competition in OC. You get the occasional discount voucher if you become a regular. Now Mie specifically: She is definitely very detail-oriented. Don't underestimate her size because she has STRONG hands. I very much enjoy the firm/deep pressure anyway, but you can always let your tech know your preferred pressure. She yeeted me to another dimension when she massaged my face, head, and décolletage. Stress who? Besides the relaxing part, she does a great job at actually washing my hair/scalp. Her nail scratches are satisfying, not painful... she actually got the back of my head well (a lot of other places forget or don't scratch it well, leaving me with an uncomfortable itch). All spots covered. I also tried a Dermaplaning facial with her, and it noticeably brightened my skin. Don't make the same mistake I did. I did a silver package (which comes with a mini facial) only 5 days before the Derma facial, and it stung a bit. Now that I know better, it would be wise for me to wait maybe 2-3 weeks between facials. My facial fuzz doesn't grow out that fast, so I can push it 1-2 months. I don't really struggle with acne, but I'd still like to try the detox facial in the future for the plot. You only get a regular blow dry, no styling like at a regular hair salon. Room 17 in LA does some light styling, but don't expect that at most Vietnamese headspas. This establishment definitely earned this review. No shortcuts. I'd give them another star for accommodating my random walk-ins. I don't like calling or making an appointment, so yeah... 6 stars. read more

I thought I was the only one that got cold water, but there was another lady getting treated as well and I heard her say the water was cold. I was supposed to have my hair washed. I wouldn't call it washed at all. They got my hair wet and dried it but it was not clean. My hair was greasy. The women did not speak good English. I know these places are expensive. I thought $90 was a lot and then you have to tip. They have only been open for 4 months. I don't think it's going to make it. They will have to up their game. I purchased the gold package which was 80 minutes and 115$. The place is cute and relaxing. I had Camille and she was wonderful. The massage portions were very relaxing and had great pressure. I enjoyed the experience, the only complaint was the price but given its 80 minutes I slightly understand. The other thing is there was a large group that came after that were a bery loud. The experience was ...ahhhmazing. It's not just a head massage, tho you do get one. But it's SO much more. You get a facial with an emphasis on lymphatic nodes and relieving jaw tension. Also, hot stones are employed at various times during the shoulder and neck massages. All areas- head, neck, shoulder and face enjoy yummy feeling scrubs and lotions/masks. Honestly, I'm not sure what all was done because I gave myself over to the bliss of it. My friend and I added a hair mask to our treatment and thought it was well worth it. During the treatment, you lie on your back, covered, on a heated bed. Our silver experience lasted 60 minutes, and honestly, it was perfect. When the treatment was over, my hair was towel dried and then blow dried while I enjoyed some tea and cookies. I cannot recommend enough! This would make a great Mother's Day gift or birthday gift or just a nice gift to yourself. They have quite a few setups so I think they can also handle small groups, like bachelorette parties. We didn't get any additional pictures further in the location just for privacy and respect of the customers. We had Vi and Anne and they were both amazing! We would 100% go back in the future.
