Both Bailey and Dimitri at the front desk told me they never received the new order, so I carried it in there myself and once again they lied straight to my face and said there was no insurance approval. I called my insurance again to verify I had been approved and once again approval had been verified. The office staff here went from treating me like a VIP to absolute garbage because they don't want to do their jobs. It kind of stings because my therapist was an amazing human being and all of this because two employees do not want to do their jobs. I tried to give them one more chance today 9-11-24 but they sent all 3 of my calls straight to voicemail. I'm officially done with all AOA facilities.

My FIRST therapist, Tojal, was awesome; she legitimately cared about my goals and how I felt. She truly listened to what I had to say and what was bothering me. However, I only had her for two weeks. Unfortunately, I wasn't told that she was moving until the front desk person said they needed to move my appointments around. I had to ask why and that is when I was told that Tojal was moving and that very day was her last day! I thought was pretty unprofessional and an extreme lack of communication on everyone's part. In the 2-3 months I was at ATI, I went through 3 therapists. On some days there wasn't even a Physical Therapist there...it was only the PT assistant; who I felt could have cared less about anything I was doing. The only therapist that I felt truly cared was my first therapist...after she left, I lost all confidence for ATI, as none of the other PTs listened to me or how I was feeling. If I was hurting and being pushed too hard, I voiced my concerns, but I felt like it went on deaf ears. There is absolutely no patient continuity. In addition, typically, when you walk into a place of business, you are greeted with a 'hello' and/or a smile. The girl at the front desk, never offered either. She wasn't very pleasant and came across extremely rude to not only me, but to other clients. I am unsure of other ATI facilities, however, the one in Mansfield needs a LOT of work. I am so disappointed with my experience there as I wanted and needed to reach some sort of goal after my lower back surgery; however, it did not happen. I asked to be discharged early. After being discharged, I sent an email voicing my concerns; never have I heard anything back from ATI.

Why would I want to do that when I finally received Pre-Authorization for In-Network benefits from my insurance company????? Money-grub much? Why don't you let me deal with MY insurance company...I cannot tell you how many times I heard the phrase "no, but if you'd like to come as an Out-Patient, we'd be happy to...." Maybe the thought of continued customer service made them decide to pass me by.
