They have no sense of compassion there and even I felt something off when I would take my cat there weeks prior. It felt like death and sadness, the techs didn't show any care, didn't bother to address us like "family" as they say they are. During the first visit our cat was fine as soon as they brought him back to us after his shots his behavior changed from a happy cat to a scared, skittish one. He didn't want to get touched by anyone after wards. Makes me wonder what they did to him.

The lead at the…read moregrooming center said she can't clip my dog, Reefer's nails because her rabies vaccine expired on 8/9. I told her I thought the expiration date was 8/19. I was refused service. When I got home, I looked at her vaccination records, and her rabies shot was good through 8/19, not 8/9. I called the grooming center and spoke to the lead that refused the nail clipping. She said that an associate must have keyed in the wrong date. PetsMart should be making copies of records provided by the customer. I only got a sorry, and that's it. I am a repeat customer, and this is unacceptable to me. Sometimes, they have all spots filled for the day by 8am. If you have recently lost a pet, they take donations of old pet beds, kennels/runs, and grooming supplies. You can also show up around 11am and apply for pet adoption. Basic vet services are less expensive. Nail trimming, shots, spay/neuter, and health check are a few of their services.

Fast forward three months. We made an appointment for the same dog who had an ear problem and wasn't feeling well. I arrived on time and was told that no appointment existed. AGAIN. Now, we are not crazy and understand how to put an appointment on our calendar. These folks are incompetent and could care less about doing a proper job for their employer and for the customer. The response this time: I don't see any appointments on here for you not today, next week, nowhere. If you'd like to sit over there we can try to get you in but we have appointments all afternoon so it may be a few hours. Obviously, after two times,I left and will never return. Whomever is in charge there should look into the appointment setter or their software. Because it ain't working. Their lack of competence and empathy when this is clearly their fault and problem gives me pause and I question their competence in all other areas now too. This time my cat was sick and a new kitten ended up under my car Christmas and he needed to be checked out. My GSD is over 10 years old and they are taking great care of her. Our cat was almost 2 years old. And, the new kitten is approx. 8 mths. GSD has serious issues with Anal glands, but the regimen they put her on is really helping. TY so very much. More time with her is a blessing. The kitten had all his shots, will not be a Daddy for kittens that could end up under another Christmas car, and is thriving and loved, too much sometimes. My 2yo cat that I loved had to be put down. I thought his energy levels and attitude had something to do with the new cat added to our home. He started hiding and wanting lots of attention from me (he was always very independent) I got him from another Vet in Aiken that I have used for years. He had Leukemia. I was sure that the Vet had checked him and his brothers and sisters (at least five of them) for Feline Leukemia. No!!! I still imagine him in different spots in the house and I miss him so much. Very upset with other vets. and blame them for heartache. So I had a healthy CUp, an almost well GSD, and one heartbreak that was handled with Grace and Love. I will never use another Vet without making sure I check them out with their patient's owners. So, I have a realistic idea of Aiken Veterinary Hospital with 1 healing, 1 very happy fellow, and one very kind and caring group of women at this hospital. I plan on making their holiday baking a standard tradition. And, anything else I can do for them.

Though the practice was warned about her they kept her employed and allowed the abuse and confidentiality violations to continue to the point that the client needed legal cease and desist representation. The clinic's response to the confrontation was to accept no culpability whatsoever.
