I asked the woman at the counter (wearing glasses with strings attached) about the cost, and she brushed it off, saying, "Well, the consult fee is $15, we have to make a living somehow." When we asked her for instructions on how to prepare and take the herbs, she was impatient and dismissive. I asked how many times a day to drink the medicine, and she said "two" while pointing at a paper on the counter, telling me to "just take a picture and follow the instructions." But when I looked at the paper, it didn't include that information. I told her this, and instead of clarifying, she replied in an annoyed tone, "Well, I just told you, no?" I then had to ask her other info that were missing such as how much water to use, or whether to take them before or after meals. Both clinics are well organized and very clean. The front desk helper is always very friendly, and the acupuncturists and Tuina therapists are all well trained professionals. My husband had plantar fasciitis about 1 1/2 years ago, the heel pain gave him a hard time to walk as usual. He went to see the podiatrist, but did not really help. He had to stop his daily hiking for almost 1/2 year, till he went to Hongwei for the treatment. Angel used her super Tuina technique helped my husband's heel pain problem after about 6 treatments.
