Tom is great. He's is very professional and his massages are wonderful. He provides the right amount of pressure. I like firm pressure on my back, and he mixes firm and medium pressure expertly. Tom is awesome! I am a plumber, and this winter really beat me up. I mean I am torn and tattered. Winter is always a busy season for plumbers, that being said said I have been visiting my chiropractor on a regular basis. But something was missing, my back and neck were suffering immensely. I live in Maywood and wanted a masseuse close by to my house and saw many good reviews on Yelp and decided to make an appointment. Granted my body was a mess and I immediately felt relief and the following days the pain and aching started to subside. I'm not completely healed and didn't expect to be but I'm so much better. Tom gave me one of the best massages I have ever had! I have major back issues from sitting at a desk all day and my posture. But, he worked out most of the tension in my shoulders and neck in an hour! I asked for deep tissue, and realizing how tense I was he offered several times to lighten up to avoid hurting me. The massage itself was extremely good, the place was clean, and Tom was talented and respectful. but I only gave 4 stars because while you are having the massage you can hear the outside traffic on the street very loudly, along with anyone talking in the waiting room...these things make it hard to truly relax. read more

I had been going to massage schools, first Helma and then Healing Hands. Unfortunately, they both closed. I tried the massage school in Hackensack, but the atmosphere was very cold. I tried Zen because of an Amazon Local deal and I am so glad I did. Tom gave me the best massage I've ever had! He showed me that while I thought I had problems with my shoulder and neck, my feet were as bad, if not worse. I've been there for a second massage where he worked reflexology on my feet and deep tissue massage on my back. My feet felt so much better!!
