My hair was absolutely butchered by a stylist named Mo. I came in for a color and a layered haircut. First off my color did not take and you could see 2 distinct colors. Second, my hair was not layered but literally butchered. I brought it to her attention and instead of apologizing she kept saying she didn't know why she cut it that way. She then proceeded to make excuses as to why my hair was butchered (one side of my head had more hair than the other so that's why one side was way longer and the shape of my earlobes) ridiculous excuses, so I finally told her to stop making excuses for a terrible hair cut. She clearly has never worked on thick Asian hair and should have been honest with me from the start. I had a flight the very next day to Hawaii where I was the matron of honor for my best friend's wedding. Her behavior was outrageous, she was unapologetic and I could tell she knew she did a horrible job but didn't know how to explain it. She was like a deer in headlights just saying "I don't know." She knew it was terrible so she kicked me out. Which is ok because how is she going to fix the hair she butchered? But anyways, the videos show everything you need to see. Each stylist at this salon sets their own prices. I had one person quote me $150 for a trim and color and another quote me at $100, obviously I went for the cheaper price. I just wanted my hair a shade darker than my natural hair color, I was not consulted on what color I wanted instead the stylist came back and started to apply the color she picked on my head, I was taken aback but figured she was a professional and could eyeball the color I wanted. Once she was done with the color and trim she charged me $140 which is a huge different from the original $100 I was originally quoted. The service she provided was good but my hair looks black and not brown as I wanted. Overall I don't see myself coming back to this location and will look for another salon that has traditional pricing. read more

I'm sorry to have to write this review as I'm new to the area and in need of a new Hair Salon. Here's my first time experience at Blush Salon with Nicole. I wanted full hair coverage 1 color basic BROWN. After the first attempt at color my hair was a shade of ORANGE/COPPER! I allowed her to reapply a darker color as I had an engagement only days after my appointment. Much to my surprise again RED/ORANGE tones appears. Now a 3rd attempt to get my color BROWN!. I finally left the Salon with what looked brown enough on my hair, face, skin and even my shirt and shorts had hair dye on it! Now after washing my hair 5 times i have sent 3 texts to hair dresser Nicole in hopes to hear back from her...which I DID NOT! Very unprofessional (I'm more than happy to share dates and my texts sent to Nicole with the salon owner if they are even interested.) Today, I finally called Blush Salon directly and shared my unhappy color and experience. I further explained to them that I'm now attending my son's OUTDOOR WEDDING in 2 weeks! What am I to do?? I already paid a good amount of money only 2 weeks ago as their response to me was we can schedule you for a consultation to receive a cost to redo my hair as from the picture I provided to them they insist my hair is only BROWN. But, this is a review in response to the completely negative response below by Alyssa G. Ms. Alyssa should really be careful who she is calling unprofessional. I went to Salon Blush and was introduced to Alyssa as my new stylist. I have returned to her and I thought she was going to work out great for me until today when she had an automatic text sent to me cancelling my appointment for tomorrow!! I have waited 5 weeks for this appointment and if that's not unprofessional then I don't know what is because I can't just find someone at last minute and think I'm going to be able to get in anywhere in a day! She may reply that I am friends with the owner but I literally didn't know anything was wrong until I got the text and then phoned my friend to ask what was going on. I called and the receptionist was friendly and provided me with a hairstylist within ten minutes. I received a text message from Kennedy telling me what days and times she had available and if they worked for me as well. It was so quick and so simple. When I got there, the atmosphere was lovely. She said she wanted to put me with the right stylist, which I thought was pretty amazing. I live in Kingman, its almost a 2 hr drive. They scheduled me with Judy. I arrived 15 minutes early, and she wasn't there yet, which is totally fine.. but there was one girl there who totally ignored me and never said a word to me. I thought that was kinda rude. It's taken me 2 weeks to simmer down before I leave this review. I got the worst haircut of my LIFE. I showed her 3 pictures of what I wanted. She totally ignored them and left me with a hot mess. I had to ask for her to use mousse and to style it. My sister suggested maybe I needed more layers in the back and was ignored. The next day, after I tried to do it myself, I text Judy and told her what a crappy haircut I got, and that I was not happy... no response.
