It's kind of like a hole in the wall restaurant with good food. Don't expect a lot of frills or fancy customer service, but the massage is good and the price is really good. I gave them a call at 11:45 AM and gave them a time for 12:15 PM. They don't really have a computerized system for reservations so it's not really a place to set up a time for X next week. I like last minute so it works for me. I arrived and chose a 60-minute massage. There's just a board with times and that's about it. I get taken back into a room (there are doors now) and was asked to get ready. There really is no discussion about the type of massage you want. You have to be proactive. I had lower back pain so I told her that. I just wanted neck, back, and shoulders so I mentioned that as well. When she got to my sore spots, I told her to stay there for a few minutes and press hard and she did. Felt really good overall and really helped my back pain. The massage ended with hot stones which was a nice touch. So again....not a place where you're going to have a discussion about overall massage. Just tell them to focus on certain areas and tell them harder or softer. They have good techniques, lots of elbows and palms if you like deep tissue. I added a $10 tip so it was $70 out the door for a massage style I like that hit my problem areas. Set proper expectations for this place and you'll be happy with the massage and value. I absolutely recommend this place. My husband purchased a 90 minute couples FULL body massage for both of us. My masseuse was Jason. I was a bit worried because we had been to several Asian run massage places around town. And it's been rather difficult to communicate my pain pressure tolerance and other things. But communication was a breeze and Jason did not need any critiques. He applied the right pressure at every point and I never felt uncomfortable pain. It was so relaxing and soothing. I normally don't give reviews, but I feel it's necessary for others to be warned. The massages felt very nice but be prepared that it's not relaxing. We constantly heard customers coming in and out of door. The lady who was working on my husband constantly stopped to answer the front desk, which meant my husband didn't get a full 90 minutes. We can hear a customer in the lobby listening to their sports and staff speaking loudly throughout the hallway, trying to settle customers in. You will feel a little pressured on how to tip. I tipped a little over 20%, and the person looked a little disappointed. They were nice. If you're looking for a no thrill place and don't mind interruptions. I came in, in the afternoon. I had a groupon for a 60min hot stone OR deep tissue massage. I ended up getting what felt like both. The place is on a busy area so you would think you would hear everything but I didn't hear much. Walking in it smelt nice (I let the lady know up front right away haha). The meditation music was playing throughout the entire building (it doesn't play in each room so it's not as loud but still enough to feel relaxing). Jason did my massage and did an amazing job getting in those areas with a lot of tension. He asked if I wanted to extend it to 90 min due to how much tension there was (I politely declined due to having other things going on. Otherwise I would've said yes). I mentioned an injury to my ankle and he made sure to massage gently around it. For the price, location, it's easy to quickly judge it. I've been to different massaging spots and I will say Jason did great! Felt professional enough. I've been to more expensive spots and they definitely took advantage of my money. Not here. read more

Horrible experience. I initially called to make an appointment and the lady I spoke with scheduled an appointment for me to come in that same day. When I got there, no one knew about my appointment, and no one spoke any English. They actually called someone on the phone who spoke broken English, and they were able to translate after a few minutes why I was there and what I wanted. The massage "rooms" were janky! I was surprised at the set up. They have several areas sectioned off with curtains as "doors". There is not much privacy and to can hear cars passing and conversations. This isn't the place for you if you are looking for a therapeutic massage. There was no discussion before the massage of sore areas or anything else. I was led straight to a "room" and told to get ready and lay on my stomach. For the first time in my experience the table had a hole in it for the face instead of the head rest normally attached to the end. This was uncomfortable for me because I like my head raised and I'm so tall my feet were hanging off the end. In addition no roller was placed under the ankles to align the spine. The blanket was also so short my feet were hanging out. The rooms were not closed off as the room dividers did not reach into the ceiling and the door was a curtain. While getting massaged it felt like my head was being pushed into the table. The masseuse was nice but she was also the receptionist and left the room during my massage at least 7 times. Also there were times not enough oil was used and it felt like my skin was being pulled. I did not feel good when I left and am more sore today. Please note that "Zen Reflexology & Asian Massage Spa" and "Healthy Asian Massage" uses the same massage therapists and are just down the street from each other. You can also find a deal on Groupon. Despite the ratings, the massages were overall good. We individually had an older guy named Tom but he coughed a lot which concerned us that he was sick but he did a good job. We also had another male massage therapist who was much stronger and was much more effective on removing the knots. If you ask for a 60 or 90 minute massage, 75% of the time will be spent on your back with an over dry massage, followed by a hot stone massage, followed by an oil massage, and then flipping to the front focused on the head and arms. Although I wish they focused more on the front, it was overall relaxing during a quick visit. Their English is not that great but they use Google translate which is very helpful. Gave this place 1 star, but if could go minus, it would be -10 or lower. 1st appointment (scheduled ahead) no one there to do 60 minute special. After 10 minutes of waiting a man came in door, didn't bother with pretense of washing hands. I lost 10 minutes on an hour service. Thought would give a second chance, again scheduled a 60 minute service a day in advance. Only 1 person when I arrive, and she spoke no english. NONE. I pointed to the service I wanted, she motioned me to a chaise and made phone call. 15 minutes later still waiting. Got up, showed the employee I was leaving & she quickly made a phone call and put me on the phone. The woman on phone said she would tell the employee what to do and did agree to add 15 min on todays service(12-29-2017) to compensate. I had scheduled for 60 minute special - 45 min reflexology foot/back, 15 min head, shoulder, arms. The employee rubbed my feet for an hour. No head, shoulder, arms. It was useless to try to communicate as she had no understanding of anything I said. BTW - BOTH times there was no one in the building except for me and 1 employee the entire time. No one came in for a massage and no phone calls. It was very odd, as the other reflexology places I frequent nearby usually have people in lobby waiting their turn as well as incoming phone calls to schedule an appointment. Worst foot rub ever had. Should have followed my instinct and left. These people opened 2 places. 1.Kolb/Broadwy. 2. Kolb/Golf Links. May Kolb/Golf Links is staffed and run better. Or NOT.
