Everyone was asking where we got it from. The dulce de leche has white chocolate on it and it really complements the flavor. It wasn't super sweet and the crust was perfect. I found Zen-sational cheesecake just a bit over 2 days before I needed it and Marylou said she really only needs about 24 hours of lead time since they don't have a storefront. At the time of writing, I paid $45 for the cheesecake which is totally fair given how good it is and the fact that it's homemade. They take a variety of digital payment methods as well. On top of all that, Marylou's customer service is top notch! She gave tips on how long the cake will keep and how to make sure it doesn't slip around while driving. It's easy to follow the crowd and just say this was a delicious cheesecake (which it was), but I gotta go into some detail and state why this is a damn fine 5-Star cheesecake. My girlfriend and I split a slice of Strawberry Cream, her choice as I would have gone with a chocolate or mocha style if they had it, and raised an eyebrow at the portion size after shelling out close to $9 for a such a tiny and poorly cut thing (blame Rimel's for that), but then we started to taste it... The berry was light, only the sweet coming through with none of the tart. It was heavy on the cream, but giving it a richness that didn't weight down the flavor. This by themselves were pretty excellent, a good to great cheesecake that would have gotten a strong 4-Star from the both of us; then you eat the crust. Holy crap it's delicious! Real butter, brown sugar, graham cracker, all of it cooked perfectly with no burn and all caramel taste that melts on the tongue with every crumbly bit. Mother of god, it's fantastic! Even with my wishing for the Tuxedo over the Strawberry Cream weighing down my opinion, there is no getting away from how good everything is especially with that crust leading the charge. Marylou was exceptionally communicative from the very start of our interactions and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted. She provided delicious samples (a whole cake's worth!) and let us take the samples home to think about our selections over the weekend. When we did decide to serve her cheesecakes at our wedding, she provided a number of options for the appearance of our cutting cake and ensured that we got the variety of flavors that we wanted. We ended up choosing an assortment of full-size cheesecakes in White Chocolate Blueberry, Lemon, and Dark Chocolate Raspberry. She even made our cutting cake with a gluten free, nut-based crust, which was probably the best gluten free dessert my husband has had to this day! When it came time for our cheesecakes to be served, they were a hit! Our photographer even commented that it was the first wedding he'd ever seen where every single guest sat down and ate the dessert when it was served - Marylou's cheesecakes literally cleared the dance floor!
