I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my brother in law's 30th birthday at $35 per dozen. I was a little disappointed when I received mini cupcakes instead of regular sized cupcakes. They looked super cute and she decorated them the way I asked but I was hoping for regular cupcakes. I was never asked about the size and I simply assumed. Quite frankly, if I had known they were going to be mini cupcakes I could have gone to SusieCakes where the mini cupcakes are $25 per dozen. I did get 10% off my order from an Instagram offer but even then, they are more expensive. I ordered 3 flavors: Dulce de leche Blueberry and coconut Lavender and honey The dulce de leche cupcakes were honestly not great, I suppose dulce de leche is not the best cupcake flavor. The butter cream frosting was a little heavier than I would have preferred, it was not really creamy but had more of a solid texture. The lavender and honey cupcakes were better, interesting flavor but a bitter after taste. I remember reading someone else experience the same and they suspected it was due to the dye... I honestly can't say for sure because it was not the frosting but the cupcakes themselves. Sadly, I didn't get to try the blueberry and coconut. Sarah was incredibly nice and accommodating even when I was running a late to pick them up so I am grateful for that. P.S: the number 30 (and the sneaky 60) toppers were not included, those were added by me. read more
