Compassionate, Patient, and Truly Exceptional Care…read more I had an outstanding first experience at Four Paws. After three days of trying, I finally trapped a feral cat who has visited me daily for years but had never allowed anyone to touch him. The clinic was willing to see him on short notice and accommodated my urgency when he was injured. The staff were not only attentive and professional, but also incredibly compassionate. They understood my financial concerns and worked thoughtfully within them. Most importantly, they handled him with patience and care, helping him feel safe enough to be touched for the first time in sixteen years. Because of their kindness and skill, there is now real hope that he may finally become an indoor cat. I am deeply grateful for the care they provided and would recommend Four Paws without hesitation.

The staff has been amazing and supportive through all of the hospitalizations and thru the final transition. They made me feel like a human and went over all of our options thoroughly. They also did not charge as much as other vet offices. I found them to be very affordable. Especially after over $3k at CvETS. Cailey & Becca have been amazing, specifically. They kept me abreast of everything through the hospitalizations and Dr. Tomilson always called and gave me updates. I couldn't ask for a better staff during such a horrific time. I appreciate all of you so much. You just don't know. I will be bringing all my pets here from now on. They also offer affordable boarding for established patients. They will even give your pet their meds, while you're away. They play with them and love on them too. I know my pets are happy and taken care of by all the staff. Thank you for everything. -Valerie (Gumdrop's mami).

The staff at Griffin Animal Hospital is not only knowledgable but they genuinely care about their clients/patients. I recently adopted another fur baby and Dr Griffin and her staff have gone out of their way to answer questions and provide care. I don't think I could trust another Veterinarian in Columbia, especially since most are corporate and require extra fees, testing that isn't needed, and staff that seem to come and go. If you are looking for a Vet in the area I'm sure they wouldn't mind you stopping in and checking them out. They are always welcoming and helpful.

To be clear I left Griffin Animal Hospital over a year ago and could not be happier to have done…read moreso. I am writing this review now because I went to my new vet(Cat Clinic) the other day and had a wonderful, easy, affordable experience, and it made me write this review. First issue is the never ending "required tests" stool tests, bloodwork, and other things. They make you do them or at least made me every single time I came in regardless of the issue. This of course ran the bill up every single time to around $600-$700 dollars. Second issue was Dr. Griffins attitude. She couldn't be more abrasive if she tried and I always tried to be nice but I always got the feeling she seemed to feel like she was wasting her time talking to me. She was condescending and definitely didn't respect or care about my time. The final straw was when she said she tried to have me bring in another stool sample only two weeks after a prior visit just to get anxiety meds. It's literally 30% a scam to earn extra money. Lastly for example the Cat Clinic for a yearly check up was only $250 with two vaccines, Flea Meds for 2 cats, and anxiety meds. Which is the primary reason for writing this as I do feel I have been overcharged by Griffin for years. The Cat Clinic has never asked for a stool sample and they ask if I'd like to bloodwork which they don't recommend unless there's a concern. Goodluck with Griffin Animal Hospital if you don't believe me.

I sought a more affordable alternative a few years ago when I was given an estimate of nearly…read more$2,000 for my cat's dental work. I chose Rosewood because the cost was significantly lower. When I took my cat in recently for his annual, the vet dragged him out if his carrier and conducted a rushed exam. When I asked if she had checked his teeth, I heard her yelling from outside the door, "You mean that fat cat? His teeth are terrible". When she came back into the room, I told her I had heard that. I scheduled a dental but cancelled after considering my experience. If you don't mind Aunt Gladys caring for your beloved pet, go right ahead. I'm going elsewhere. I advise you to do the same.

We had never been to this clinic before and they were able to fit us in within mere hours. The place is easy to find on Google maps and when we walked in, were greeted immediately and courteously. This clinic is also nice because it has ample room both near the front desk and in the waiting areas, which is great if you have a large dog or a smaller dog that yo-yo's on the leash. Our wait time was minimal, and the staff was both patient and friendly with my dog. They also communicated clearly what the process would be and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Checkout was super easy and fast, and they provided an itemized bill by default - this is great if you have to file a pet insurance claim. Check them out - you and your fur baby will love them!

We had a geriatric pet some years back, and they actually taught him (an old dog) a new trick while my wife and I were out of town. Now that I have retired from 22 years of active duty military service, I was blessed to be awarded a legitimate (lots of training, and from a good bloodline) Golden Retriever service dog. While she can legally go with me pretty much anywhere in the US, if my wife and I travel to remote locations (such as only accessible by small sea plane/helicopter) due to weight constraints and cabin size, we can't bring our "golden girl". Internationally, some countries don't recognize service dogs as well. So Dog Daze has us covered, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The only downside is that if you do things last minute, you absolutely won't be able to use them as a resource, because responsible people, who love their dog more than you, planned ahead (sarcasm). On a serious note, plan early, but they can possibly accommodate emergency situations if it's not a busy holiday, especially if your pets shots/vaccines are already in their system. For active duty/veterans they offer 10% off. We really are fortunate to have DD as a Columbia resource, when immediate family or friends aren't able to.
