Zenses is a really unique environment as a nightclub turned yoga/wellness studio space. Upon entering there's a small waiting room, then the common areas on the main floor include a sitting area (with slippers to borrow), lockers, a bar (with some small refreshments), and restrooms. As long as you're dressed comfortably and can move around, they have everything else you may need for a class, including mats, blocks, and straps - all items are free to use for the class which is a big perk if you're coming from work and/or decide to do a last minute drop-in without your own yoga equipment. The main room is really cool with moving LEDs all around the room, themed for the class. I try to set myself upon along the front or middle of the class to be able to see the DJ booth and ceiling animations more easily, but along the sides of the room there are more LEDs, so you're basically set no matter where you decide to set yourself up. I've only been upstairs once for an event, but my understanding is during the day it's a co-working space, and there's also another space up there for yoga - the yoga loft. The loft space couldn't be more different than the one on the main floor, since there are large windows and lots of natural light coming in. My experience with the classes has been mixed, TBH, depending on who is teaching as I can sometimes be particular about teachers, but with their varied offerings of yoga classes, sound meditation, events, and more, I'm sure I'll be back soon to try different things. read more

A really cool and different kind of yoga studio. Zenses goes all in on the immersive experience with wall to wall visuals that extend to the ceiling and the pillars in the room. I went to the underwater flow and it really did feel like I was doing yoga in the ocean at times. I really love the large number of modalities that Zenses offers, from vinyasa to hatha to yin. There is a class for everyone. In addition there is plenty of nice space to hang out before and after class and a lot of lockers to leave your things in during class. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to hear the instructor at times, the background music might be a bit too loud. Also I would have preferred more pointers on how to fix my form especially since there were only three wipes in my class. The studio seems like a great place for beginners in general and people who want a completely immersive experience when practicing yoga. read more

Life changing experience. So much fun! Holistic wellness, mind, body and soul. There was an entire lineup in two rooms on separate floors. Breath work, yoga, somatic exercise practice and sound bathes. Just an overall full reset for your entire being. Eccentric art work on the walls throughout. A non alcoholic beverage bar with taste bud tantalizing mocktails. This event occurs every first Sunday of the month and well worth giving a try if you have not. There's vendors as well. I tried to support as many as possible. Earseeds from an acupuncture company. They're very tiny. You select from a guide based on what your need is. The placement is quick and pain free. Detox juices from another vendor I bought three out of four she sold. I left the beets behind. Two Seamoss vendors. I make my own so I did not purchase. Another small business with teas. I supported by purchasing a cute heart shaped tea diffuser. There was also a candle vendor I didn't have time to fully check out, a jewelry vendor with pretty, dainty jewelry in both gold plated, silver and sterling silver. I love sterling silver but didn't see anything I like. I only wear real gold so I didn't buy any. The business itself has a Bevi water machine. Love at first sight!! I made a cucumber sparkling water. You had the option of still or sparkling. A flavor selection and temperature adjustments. I'm looking into one for home. I highly encourage you to go see what Zenses Immersive has to offer. They are open during the week limited hours as during the day most are at work. They have a schedule on their website. read more

I saw this on the Instagram and I immediately got curious about it. I booked a session on the bucketlisters and arrived here in a weekend afternoon. They offer some snacks and tea before your session, there are lockers and even sandals to use. Unfortunately, they didn't have big sizes so I had to use a whatever biggest one I was able to find (I think it was 10 for men). The instructor was great, the session was on the intense side and I definitely got all the muscles to work. I'm putting 3 starts simply because it's a night club and the floors are the issue. For entire session I had a feeling that it's dirty and my feet and hands were all black after touching it. If they can solve that by covering it with something that would ideal. I tried "immersive yoga" for the very first time ever and loved the experience! The studio is clean with lockers, indoor slippers and mats provided for. That said, the studio does not have showers. They also offer hot herbal tea for consumption throughout your time at their location. I went for the Autumn Yoga Nidra session. The visuals all over the space were trippy and the binaural beats added to a restorative ambience. The class was split between 30 minutes of a Yoga workout followed by 30 minutes of Yoga nidra practice. I left the session relaxed and grateful for having discovered this place. When I stumbled upon images of the classes at Temple Immersive online a few weeks back, I felt an irresistible pull to journey from New York to San Francisco to immerse myself in such a distinctive yoga environment--and I'm thrilled that I did! From the moment I entered the reception area, the scent of white Sage incense greeted me, immediately soothing my nervous system. The inviting seating areas and the array of complimentary snacks and beverages available before and after class were details that set Temple Immersive apart from any other yoga experience I've encountered. It was a truly delightful experience! Stepping into the studio space felt like gazing into the cosmos itself (see photo). It's hard to find words that do justice to the beauty, serenity, and inspiration conveyed by the audiovisual elements. When combined with the expertise of the instructors and the diverse range of class offerings, attending multiple sessions at Temple Immersive becomes an irresistible proposition. Last Sunday, I had the privilege of participating in two classes: the vibrant Vinyasa Flow accompanied by a live DJ, and Yin Yoga with the incredible Savy. Not only were mats, blocks, meditation pillows, and blankets provided, but they were also meticulously arranged in advance, awaiting our arrival. My new favorite yoga studio. I love the immersive, multiuse yoga/dance space. I love the pace and flow and variety of yoga practices. The last class of the night is usually a nidra/yin medley, very relaxing and meditative. The late afternoon/early evening classes combine breathwork, flow, and balance/core work. The fact that I don't have to bring my mat or water, with lockable cubbies, is huge. Plus there are a lot of perks for annual members! I hope they expand into more afternoon/lunch yoga sessions. read more

I recently moved back to San Francisco from Seattle and was looking for a good studio for the Yoga Curious. OMG did I find a home. I did the Ocean Flow class with Reza as the teacher and it was incredible. There was ocean waves on all the screens and above us! It's like you are doing yoga under the ocean. The girl next me drove 90 minutes each way just for the ocean class she was mesmerized. Reza was an incredible teacher and really funny too. It was a moderate level class but he was kind and supportive which helped me achieve a couple of things I've never been able to do. Temple Immeriave Yoga is my new home. read more

Overall ambience was good. The instructor was also good however the microphone through which she spoke was unclear. I was trying to look and follow the motion but it was too dark to do that. I think with a small group, the instructor should avoid the use of microphone. Instructor was very nice and offered us tea and snacks, however this session for me was underwhelming. read more
