My mom and I were strolling through downtown Phoenixville on the way to our car when I noticed the sign for ZenVillage Wellness. We spotted a smiling woman through the plate glass window who waved us in. Little did I know she was Raquel Lyles, the owner and masseuse at ZenVillage. I loved Raquel's friendliness and professionalism as she answered our questions and discussed her approach to massage. I booked an appointment for a CBD massage that night. The vibe at ZenVillage is, well, zen. The facility is clean, welcoming and serene and I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in the door for my appointment. Even though I mentioned to Raquel that I had been experiencing some shoulder pain, only a few moments into my massage, she sensed that I had a lot of tension not only in my shoulder but in other areas. Her touch is heavenly and she did an excellent job alleviating muscle tightness. You can tell Raquel really cares about her clients and wants to help them on their journey to wellness. I found her to be highly skilled, personable and knowledgeable. I'll definitely book another massage at ZenVillage Wellness. Nearly a week has passed since my last appointment and I'm happy to report that my shoulder feels much more relaxed and flexible. read more

I had bought a Groupon for a massage. I had called a couple times and it went to a girls personal cell phone. It does not say Zen Village on her voicemail so you don't know if you got the right number or not. Days later I get a text message from her, telling me to book through their online portal which makes you create an account with them.I put my availability any Sunday, Monday, Fridays and Saturdays. I said I can be with any therapist at any time but I preferred a female. It came back that they do not have any bookings from now (beginning of nov.) through January. I texted the number back and they said that that is correct they don't have any availability until mid January for Sun, mon, Friday and Saturday's. That's awful. From them being unprofessional to making it impossible to book, I am not coming here. Total waste of a Groupon and very frustrating read more

I don't know what on earth the person's problem was. My experience at Zen Village has always been down to earth and therapeutic. It's been my experience with massage that the masseuse will talk with you if you are talkative with them, but if you want a quiet massage, you simply ask for that. Maybe I'm wrong, but that has always been my experience and I've been getting massages from many different therapists for at least fifteen years, so go figure. I always get the most therapeutic massages here, and the effects last months, far longer than anyone else's massage. I enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, the comfortable and heated massage table, and the ambiance. Definitely worth your money! read more

Awful customer service. While I enjoyed the massage services there I was always concerned with scheduling my appointment esp. if I needed to reschedule due to my travel schedule or if I ever get my money back for the services I paid but not received. I had to put my CC on hold to not continuously be charged for the services that were not rendered after I asked to get out of extended care package. The owner is eager to take your money but very reluctant to provide the services you paid for by making impossible to make appointments or changes to them as well as not communicating clearly the terms of the agreement. read more

I bought a Groupon for a massage here and when I got there, they were closed. I had an appointment. I called about 10-15 minutes before my appointment time and asked if they were closed, it snowed that day. Then I waited til my appointment time to see if someone would come in. Nobody was there 5 minutes after my appointment time so I left. They were extremely rude on the phone, so I just got a refund from Groupon. I wouldn't even waste my time here dealing with such rude staff, go somewhere else. read more

I noticed ZenVillage Wellness one night while in Phoenixville. They peaked my interest, so when I got home, I visited their website. I've been experiencing lower back pain for some time now, and was not having the best of luck with chiropractors. Also, my stress and anxiety levels have been through the roof lately. ZenVillage Wellness' website claimed they could help with both of these issues, so I decided to give it a try. The results are unbelievably positive! I was a bit nervous at first, but Raquel made me feel very comfortable right from the start! She worked on undoing all the knots in my back, neck and shoulders. When I left, I felt like I traded in my old body for a new one My back hasn't felt this good in years. More importantly, I left feeling stress free. I am also learning how to keep my anxiety in check. She helped me both physically AND mentally, just from one visit! I also understand she has an incredibly talented staff ~ each therapist having their own specialty. Do yourself a favor and check out their site. They have so much to offer If you ever saw the movie Jacobs Ladder, when Tim Robbins would go for his back adjustment, he would look up, and visioned his chiropractor as an angel. Raquel is my angel! I had a gift certificate so service was paid for. I had a hard time making an appointment on the website. After speaking to Raquel 4 different times on the phone thought the appointment was set. I showed up and no appointment. I think she is a horrible business person. I guess she does not need a new customer. The therapist I spoke to was blindsided. So, I never got the massage. She was more worried about a credit card to charge if I missed the appointment than making my gift a happy one for the person who gave it to me. She says she cares about people and I sure did not see that side of her. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Received a gift certificate for massage. Was really looking forward to relaxation and stress relief. Massage Therapist (I believe owner) walked me back to my room for the usual review of issues and left for me to undress and assume massage position. Literally 15 minutes later she came in to begin my massage meanwhile complaining about personal issues related to her child's schooling. From there it continued to go downhill. Not only did she talk the entire time but I had to listen to her garbage talk about sex advice, her counseling of women and teen girls about their sexuality, how to put "smooth move" tea on your mans chicken when he argues with you so he can spend the night in the bathroom, books she bought for a clients daughter entitled "tickle his pickle" and so on. I left more stressed and upset before I even walked in. Zen village equals the opposite of zen. do not get a massage here. It was one of the most stressful hours of my life. I am so disappointed that I couldn't even schedule a massage here using my Groupon voucher. When I called to make the appointment I was informed that I had to do it on line. (While you already had me on the phone why not just save my time and book it?) Once I completed the appointment process my credit card info. was required. I called Raquel back, explaining that the massage was already paid for through Groupon and I saw no need to give my credit card info. as well as a booking fee. She insisted this was the only way to get an appointment. I've never heard of such a thing! I texted her questioning why she would need my credit card and she said it was to protect her therapists from cancellations. Well, if you already have the Groupon voucher number and someone is a no-show you have already been paid for the service through Groupon. Bottom line: I was already turned off by her lack of customer service before I even received a service! Too bad as the massage reviews I read were good. But, I'm too skeptical about the urgent need for my credit card info. read more
