It's a "gratuity" meaning if I the customer enjoyed my service from the person providing it I have the "option" to tip more or as my budget will allow. IT'S RUDE TO DEMAND MONEY AFTER I PAID FOR THE INCOMPLETE MASSAGE. Why do I say it was incomplete? Well I have had over 100 massages. A complete massage includes the back and front of your body massaged in oil or lotion. Unless it is a type of massage service that requires you to keep your clothes on, like Thai Massage. Today I had my massage, I was laying face down, the massage on my back was amazing. I did not ask for hot stones and it was performed. I don't like hot stones, and these were hott. My back still feels like its burning. I will have to check to see if my skin stays on. The back of my legs got a light massage with oil. I turned over to my back and the therapist did my neck for about 2 mins, a light facial massage and a head massage. Then she did my feet about 5 mins. Next I heard " Finish".....I said what? she said " you finish" Notice I did not mention she massaged my arms or my legs on the front. I got out side and the guy at the desk asked me how was the massage. I explained what happened, he asked her in Chinese and she responded in Chinese. Then he told me she said she did full body massage. I told the guy, she can speak English just fine I don't need a translator. Its not fair that you two wants to discuss what happened in your language. She then proceed to tell me what happened and that she massaged my whole body. I showed her my dry arms no lotion or oil. When I started to walk away after I paid my $55, the front desk guy said in a loud voice " excuse me you not tip her" I said in a louder voice ' NO! LOOK AT MY ARMS AND LEGS! NO OIL, THE JOB WAS NOT FINISHED, DO I LOOK HAPPY? A HAPPY CUSTOMER GIVES A TIP, I AM NOT HAPPY"!!!!!! HE YELLED AT ME IN CHINESE WHILE I WAS WALKING OUT OF THE BUILDING.....no clue what he said tho. My last thoughts get what you pay for, half the price, half the massage, half the service. Totally a recession massage. By the way I did not see any license either. Never going back to this place has very poor customer service.

The therapists did not ask us about our needs before the massage and when asked to change the pressure seemed confused or annoyed and then discussed it with the other therapist in their native language. I understand language barriers may exist, however it is frustrating when you cannot communicate with someone when they are physically hurting you. The therapist seemed either untrained or uninterested. The pressure was far too heavy and when asked to do less she did more. Half the time she was massage my bones, not my muscle. My therapist only checked in once about my comfort or needs while my boyfriends checked in every step of the way. It felt more like someone randomly pushing on my body than a focused, therapeutic massage. I've had many professional massages in the past and this was not even close to one. I left feeling more tense than when I arrived. It is almost 24 hours later and I am currently in agony needing a heating pad for my back that is how much pain I am in from that massage. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I felt disappointed and frustrated, especially given the price and considering how many other great reviews this place got. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

The service is what you want to focus on here, they are absolutely fantastic with the massages they give. You receive, Swedish, deep pressure, acupressure, hot stone, and tui na in one session. I'm certainly returning next month and will gift some to family friends. Currently there are Groupon offers for here, so try them out, however full cost is a great price as well. English is not the staff first language, however, we still were able to communicate effectively. Also, the over head lights stay on because it's not in their control to turn off. The rooms are private with open ceilings and overhead lighting that can not be turned off. My masseuse was female. I don't know her name as there wasn't much talking. The massage was ok but not the best. It felt like 20 minutes in when I asked if they used lotion or if everything was done over a towel. I was told not yet. It's coming. The lotion portion was much shorter than the dry portion and I did not like that. I've had great massages at places just like this, where the masseuses know exactly where your pressure points are, this person did not. It was still relaxing but if I did return I would ask for another masseuse.
