I chose S&J and within a few days, I had a date for installation of my fence (with 3 different heights) and two gates. This was all going to be done in one day (and it was a blistering hot day too!). The crew arrived on time and immediately began work on demolishing the old fence and then digging posts and construction of the new fence. It took all day, but by 5pm they were finished! The finished work was very good, they did not seem to cut any corners and really took the time to do things right. My favorite part of this transaction was speaking to Jasmine who works the front office/phone calls. I needed a new fence gate since the old one wasn't closing and was probably over 30 years old. For…read morethe new gate I wanted to do a horizontal orientation to match my neighbors fence. I also wanted to do it with redwood since it would be more resistant to rot and termites. Reached out to a few people and the quotes were all similar at around $1000 for the gate and little bit of fencing next to it. I went with Nam since he seemed to understand what I needed best and he said he could get it done in less than a day. They got it done in two hours and overall the fence and gate looked good. It doesn't exactly match the style of my neighbors when looking at it from inside the property, but that's my fault for not being specific about what I expected. I had to call them back a week later to make some adjustments unrelated to the style and they came back to fix things I mentioned without any hassle. I would recommend them for work that's similar in scope to this as they were overall easy and pleasant to work with.

Absolutely a terrible mistake hiring these guys. I chose them because they claimed they installed…read morethe exact gate a couple weeks ago! Showed me pictures of it too. I paid these guys to install a composite gate. Not only did they not do it right, they installed it incorrectly, then blamed me for not ordering the right parts. Basically gaslight me and accusing the vendor of not delivery all the parts. They claimed I was missing a hinge for a door (all doors come with two hinges). Apparently they broke one of the hinges. They then claimed I was missing 3 panels on one side, They claimed I was missing the top metal part to cover the gate. None of it was true of course. They obviously cut the pieces wrong and so lack the pieces that's needed. They forgot to add the metal design at top which coincidentally was about the size of the missing panels. They used all the bottom panels of both sides for the entire fence top for the second side. No wonder they ended up missing panels! Not only did they screw up, they actively lie about it and ask that I pay them extra for having their guys come back to fix. They screwed the screwsinto my tile and chipped it. They used mismatching screws, and not only that but they had screws missing in the hinge! They then scratched all over my metal door. Finally they used the wrong screws and told me that the vendor didn't supply enough screws! After I complained to the owner, he promised he will stop by to take a look. Made me wait all day and never arrived. Astoundingly unprofessional. Avoid these guys at all cost! A picture is worth a thousand words. Check out the pictures of their "install." I will have to purchase additional parts to have someone else install it.
