The whipped foam on top was so creamy without being heavy, and all mixed together, it was a great balance of sweet and creamy with a subtle hit of bitterness from the coffee. The Ube Einspanner tanks. Tastes like a ube milkshake. Supposedly has 2 shots of espresso but you'll never taste them. Either they forgot it or the ube flavoring buried it completely. Either way, it doesn't work. Here's what matters. The kitchen knows what they're doing. They just miss sometimes. Two solid hits tell you the wins aren't accidents. I used to get a flat white w/ oat milk and 1 stevia (I use my own brand). The combination literally tastes like hot chocolate. It was my go-to for years. As I wanted to lose weight, however, I transitioned to quad Americanos w/ a splash of milk and 1 stevia. Still very tasty. It reminds me of a Starbucks canned coffee (that was LOW sugar) way back in the day that they stopped making (2007-2009). Obviously, there is no comparison w/ re: to quality but I did want to mention. The staff here have always been friendly, particularly Hilary, who I believe is at the Sugarland location now. I recently watched a YouTube video on a guy that travels across cities to try the best coffee and he ranked the pour over at Blendin very high. I need to try that one day! Side note - coming here and having a weekly routine has helped me on my grief journey. Thanks Blendin. You know who it is. It's Young Flaaave!
