Right off the bat, I'm gonna tell you why I deducted 1 star. They have tea, right? Yes. Herbal teas and Milk teas. I ask if their Milk Teas are pre-made (tea + powdered non-dairy creamer). It is pre-made. No problem.... i know other Boba shops can make me a Milk Tea using Half & Half instead of non-dairy creamer (which is a bunch of crap chemicals and corn syrup solids PLUS sugar). I get that they have to have an effective workflow and customizing drinks is too time consuming. No problem, I won't get a Milk Tea. Now.... to brew Herbal Teas you just add water. Surely they have SUGAR FREE options for some customers who are Diabetic or care about their health, right? Unfortunately, those Herbal Teas are sweetened with Sugar every time they make a batch. I was told that they could add extra ice to dilute the sweetness...... no thanks. I guess I can't have your teas, Slushies, Smoothies, or Milk Teas if I'm looking for sugar-free options. My husband on the other hand, loves that place. I did take 1 sip of his Magonada which was pretty freaking good! But I don't do sugary drinks or juices and therefore, I can't order a drink from this place. Which really sucks. If you could just withhold the sugar in your teas like all other restaurants and coffee shops do, then have Syrups of all kinds of flavors (to include sugar free - just google "Skinny Mixes" syrups). Otherwise, cool concept, cool vibes, definitely not a place to go if you're looking for healthy options. I wouldn't go there if i were alone, I've been there twice and the 2nd time was bc my hubby wanted a Mangonada. I still did not get anything to drink, because I'm not about to consume 30-70g of sugar. But that's just me.... i have a very specific diet.... it just sucks bc i can normally customize things at all other businesses except this one. read more

We ordered 2 popcorn chicken combos, chicken tenders, chicken wings, a mangonada, a pink lychee, and a strawberry smoothie. We sat down with our drinks and after waiting over 40 minutes for our food, we noticed people that just came in had gotten food from the kitchen. We asked the front counter what happened to our food? She replied that the kitchen never got the order from the front. She went back and had it started and came out to say, "Our bad. The system sometimes doesn't send food orders back to the kitchen." Okay, well? Would've been acceptable if we weren't the only two groups in the restaurant. We waited for our food. Which was really delicious. But, when we went up to order another drink to take home for somebody who couldn't make it, they refused to compensate us for sitting there for an hour for food because of their "bad". If you're aware that your kitchen sometimes doesn't get food orders, why not have one of the two people that aren't busy check to make sure the kitchen gets the food? Why not offer more than a "that was our bad". Can't say that this makes me want to come back. read more

I ordered drinks from Zero Degrees through Postmates and received them half empty and leaking everywhere. I was so upset. I called Zero Degrees to let them know what happened and they were very apologetic and had amazing customer service. I ended up reordering my drinks. The drinks and food are good. I got the pink lychee drink, which is always my usual drink when I go there. Only down side is food orders take really long and so giving it 4 stars. I didn't order the food but my friend got one of the combo and enjoyed it. We will visit again. read more

If you're looking for that delicious flavor of a real mangonada- this is not your place. The mango tastes artificial and there are no pieces of real mango in it. Not nearly enough tajin and chamoy (which looks watered down). I liked the glass that it came in (extra $) and that's about it. read more

I usually love Zero Degrees. But I just had the worst experience. I was ordering popcorn chicken with an esquite and they had a deal where you got a split cup for $3 with the combo at least that's what the menu said. First and foremost the person who took the order didn't know of the deal and initially refused to give the cup for the price said on the menu. After waiting 20 minutes for our order we realized he didn't even take our order correctly. We ordered a popcorn chicken combo with an esquite and split cup and an additional esquite and split cup but he put our order in incorrectly so instead of comping the parts he messed up he had us reorder and pay for his mistake yet again he messed up our order. We pointed out the mistake and yet again we had to order and pay for his mistake. Terrible service. Will never come again. Come here if you want your order completely messed up and to pay for the mistakes of the restaurant. read more

Second time here. First time I came for a mangonada, and the mango they used was way too hard and disgusting. Tried it again today and it's much better. Decided to try a classic elote as well. Not impressive. The corn has to be canned. It's pretty bland. It's a shame cuz the whole menu sounds amazing but it hasn't necessarily been amazing. read more

They need to clean the table right away after the guest leaves since this place is tiny and has very limited seats and tables, they need to pay attention when a table gets empty and must be ready for the next guest to fill. I was told about this place from a co worker. They tried it at lunch and I sampled their food and it didn't really give me much but snack type vibe. However I went for myself and ordered fresh food and that truly made a difference. I'm hooked on the watermelon slush, garlic butter shrimp and regular elotes. I've been three days in a row now!!! Great in-between meal share "plates"/snacks, with addictingly refreshing fresh fruit slushies (strawberry, mango, watermelon, lychee, ube, cucumber options). The spicy watermelon is my favorite, though the ube and mangonadas appear to be mostly ordered. The fried large shrimps with rice and corn combo plate is incredibly scrumptious and fills any late nite void/craving! Definitely not low cal, but sugars can be adjusted and staff very accommodating with adjustment requests. read more

Nothing special. Layout of restaurant was not thought out. Door in order area was not needed, made traffic flow weird. Wings were okay, slightly over cooked. Fries were undercooked. Five stars for the cookies milk shake. Why do restaurants think they need to yell welcome to everyone who walks in.
