I ordered oatmeal, and of course they come loaded, and of course you can't go wrong with oatmeal!! Chicken fried chicken was delish !!!! And the service was great, the waitstaff Sue was very attentive. It's a casual setting and I noticed a lot of seniors dine there since there's an assisted living nearby. Plenty of parking front and back of the restaurant.

They have a really good daily special menu here at the Lakes Lounge. We like the Rib-eye steak, baked potato and vegetables and the Hamburger with french fries. We yet have to come in or order for take-out and try their Ribs Special on Mondays...if you love American food and lounge restaurant experience, this is the place to go. They also have gaming in the other half of the lounge area that's separate, smoking allowed and enclosed. The waitresses are kind and attentive!

I would like to start out by telling you the truth. THERE IS NO VIEW OF THE LAKE FROM THIS BUSINESS. You have to ignore the outdoor pictures posted on Yelp. The Lake is nearby on the other end of this strip mall but not here. Moving on - The Lakes Lounge is a 24/7 food, bar, and gaming type place. This one is a smaller place and isn't fancy. It looks like your average 24/7 type place inside. Here they have two separate rooms and doors. One is for the restaurant and the other is for the bar and gaming. They offer the usual breakfast and basic American menu. The specialty of the house are the beer battered fish and chips. I sort of got to try them by ordering the (non-traditional) beer battered fish tacos that were only $10.99. I was very surprised when I saw how generous the tacos were packed. The batter on the fish seemed crispy when they were first brought out but latter got soft. The tacos were double shelled and the beer battered fish seemed like a better quality than what I tasted at another similar restaurant recently. The batter contained a good amount of flavor. The slaw on it was average but the taco sauce was mighty flavorful so it was good. Like I said it was an enormous portion of food. I doubt than any mortal can eat all three tacos here. My husband thought his Soup and Shepard's Pie Special was just OK. Not bad but just OK. Service was good and was done by a team of a server and her busboy. THERE IS NO LAKESIDE VIEW HERE. It's on the other side of this strip mall. Low Prices - Large portions 3.5 Stars rounded up because the fish tacos were so much better than from another place I tried recently.

Update from previous review. Very good food and generous portions. Had to wait 15 minutes to get a table for lunch. That's a good sign !!!

We had some business and errands to do in this part of Summerlin today, we finished early and we were getting a bit hungry and didn't want to wait for some of the traditional open at 11:00 or 11:30 places and we weren't thinking Asian food so we didn't head to CTown. The Lakes lounge is always a solid choice for us. For those who don't know, it's located in a very small 1950ish shopping plaza off of Sahara, there is a mini mart,"those guys pies" a Thai restaurant and a couple other stores and businesses. The plaza is one of those hidden IYKYK places. The restaurant lounge is typical, gaming and drinking on one side, the restaurant on the other. Both separated by a wall of windows. The restaurant side is very small and capacity is limited by maybe ten booths and tables . There can definitely be a wait to get in and seated. There was a little rush after we were seated and several parties left and maybe came back later. Timing I think is everything here. They do a pretty busy late breakfast business and it gets packed at lunch. Demographic wise, the late breakfast crowd seems to be older and neighborhood folks, lunch maybe a mixture of working folks and neighborhood folks. They have daily specials starting at 12:00 and in fact, we're going to try and make the Sunday Turkey special right as it's offered at 12:00 this weekend. They have prime rib on Saturday, but since we just dined Ala golden steer, turkey sounds good. I'm sure there will be a rush at twelve on Sunday, but we'll chance it. Ok, on to the food..... After being seated promptly our order was taken and coffee dropped off... the coffee was that typical diner almost burned brew that's the staple of cafes everywhere. My dining companion ordered the big egg sandwich with sausage ($9.99) pretty darn big and looked eggsalant ! Tasted good too. I ordered the BYO burger . Came with a nice slab of raw purple onions, a thick slice of tomato and I asked for cheese which was $1.25 extra for a total of $14.24. The burger was 1/2 pound and came with a decent order of steak fries that were pretty crunchy and crispy. The burger was good cooked to order and was pretty tasty. Also a crunchy pickle spear was included. Service was good, coffee was refilled when requested. I guess my only negative is that they don't offer a military discount... Will we be back, definitely, and hopefully this Sunday.

I always have a wonderful experience at Lakes Lounge! The wait time is unpredictable, sometimes we have arrived to a full house and other times there has been plenty of seating. The food is ALWAYS great, I have not had one experience where the food wasn't up to par. The steak and eggs deal is one you can't beat, but don't be shy to explore the rest of the menu. The breakfast specials are such a bang for your buck and portion sizes are plenty. I love the chicken wings, they are huge wings and are crispy and juicy. This place is a must try for anyone.

First time here for us. The steak n eggs here r cheaper than village pubs now. $11 per dish which is a great price for people who came from cali. Steak was soft ( ordered medium/ med rare), toasts were really crunchy n buttery, fries r food. No complaints here as they just got themselves 2 new loyal customers. Highly ultra recommended for cheap eats. Service is great, food came out at a decent pace despite there r many guests. The vibe is cozy with many booths, lights not too dimmed ( we went in restaurant side since it's split into 2 w bar area on the other door). There r many other food items that r reasonably priced too, lookin forward to come back next time! 9.5/10

My family moved to Vegas in 1990. Lakes Lounge was one of the places we'd go. This place is a hidden gem in Vegas. It's hidden in a shopping center right next to the lake! Best food and still to this day they have fair prices. I've never had a bad experience at the Lakes Lounge. Service has always been spot on. The ambiance is definitely Old School Vegas! I highly recommend this business!

    Steak and eggs $10.99 (5/5)

Steak and eggs for $10.99 - great value! It comes with eggs, potatoes and a bread (I opted for mashed potatoes and biscuits and gravy). I asked for medium rare and got medium (which was expected). Steak was actually delicious and pretty tender. Server was friendly and the dining area didn't reek of cigarette smell. I'll be going back!

Food Rack of Baby back ribs - A feast for $25. Tender, flavorful, classic. 4.6/5 Beans - Solid and balanced. 4.4/5 Fries - 4/5 Caesar salad - 3/5. Very standard and one note. Needs improvement. Steak sandwich - For $11 this is excellent. Steak was cooked to my liking and had a nice smokey flavor. Needed some mayo for moisture. 4.5/5 Service 5/5 - Friendly staff. Atmosphere 5/5. Clean and good lighting. An excellent value for some no frills, classic American food done right. This place is Norms/Denny's/Sizzler but actually good.

Underwhelming. Saw a TikTok review and was really excited to try the cheeseburger soup. Unfortunately that is only available on Saturdays. The place is very tiny mostly booth seating so if you need a table it is very limited. Restaurant is separate from the bar which is nice. The presentation of the food is nice, but we did have a couple of issues. The steak was ordered as medium rare and it came out as medium well. The waitress did make up for that and took the drinks off which was nice. We didn't ask for a replacement we just wanted to pass on the info so the chef can watch the cook on the meat. The other thing was the excessive amount of peas in the pot pie, that were not cooked all the way. I ate alot of the peas prior to the amount pictured, there was just THAT many. One of us asked for a box before the others were done eating and this obviously confused the waitress as she prompt brought the check. That pretty much cemented the decision that we weren't getting the apple cobbler I was so looking to try. Sad to say I probably will not go back

Seasoned Prime Rib special, garlic mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. Also served with a horseradish Au Jus

We had reservations at 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The dining was very nicely furnished. They have about the same amount of seating on the patio as in the dining room with a bar and high top tables in the middle. I asked if the White Truffle Garlic Bread could be made gluten free. I was so happy to hear that they can. I felt like I had died and gone to cheesy heaven.before I developed my wheat allergy I ordered garlic bread anywhere it was in the menu. It's one of my favorite foods. So when I say theirs is quite possibly the best I've ever had in my life, it means something. We ordered family style for the entrees. We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. It came with a side dish with strawberries and nuts and little chocolate balls. I can't wait to go back again. Next time I'll tell the rest of the table to get their own garlic bread so I don't have to share mine. I'll have dreams about that bread. So heavenly!!!!

Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Pesto, and the Pepperoni Pizza with Hot Honey. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka had the perfect amount of spice not too spicy, but enough to give it great flavor. The Strozzapreti and White Truffle Garlic Bread were not my personal favorites, but my family really enjoyed both of them. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and I would definitely come back.

The food was absolutely phenomenal--100/10. Every dish we tried was exceptional. Our server recommended the Gavi Villa wine, and it was the perfect pairing for my meal. My friend's lemon drop martini was also perfection. We started with the fresh bread and dipping oil, which was prepared tableside and was such a nice touch. We followed that with two other appetizers... calamari and meatballs. As someone who orders calamari almost everywhere that serves it, I can honestly say theirs was among the best I've ever had--perfectly breaded and cooked. The meatballs were delicious as well, but the little cheesy triangle thing that accompanied the meatballs was insanely good. I don't even know what it was and I forgot to ask, but it was absolutely mouthwatering. For our entrées, my friend ordered the rigatoni while I had the linguine with clams. Oh my goodness--the best linguine & clams I've ever eaten. I still find myself thinking about it the next day. Taste and texture = perfection!! To finish the evening, we shared the crostata with ice cream and a tiramisu. The crostata was absolutely delicious, while the tiramisu was just okay. It wasn't bad by any means, but I've had better and would probably try a different dessert on my next visit, or get the crostada again. The restaurant was at full capacity, and while it was a tad bit loud, the overall ambiance was still wonderful. What impressed me most was the staff. The prices were also very reasonable considering the outstanding quality of the food, drinks, and service. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
