After two good meals for Restaurant Week, I needed something on the lighger side. I chose Salad and Go. I knew nothing about it except the reviews, one from a good friend on Yelp. I didn't realize it was drive thru only. That meant I did a 360 around the buiding looking for the entrance. I made my way to the entrance to the drive thru. There are menu boards and the speaker system to place your order. I got a plain Cobb salad. I opted not to get any protein-just the salad. The plastic packagfing is great. There were some cherry tomatoes, assorted greens, sliced egg, bacon, and a packet of blue cheese dressing. I opted to use my own dressing at home. I liked the salad except I found the bacon to be off. I hate to say it, but I'd rather have had Bacos or something like that. I'm not sure I'll be back. My daughter and I were craving something healthy and fast so she suggested we try this place.We pulled up to the drive thru and placed our order. What a great idea! A quick place to get salad is such an excellent idea because making salads with a lot of ingredients at home is so time consuming. I ordered a snack pack with steak, boiled egg and candied pecans. All three items were great and helped with getting my protein for the day. The kids salad was a big portion for me. It had great quality cucumbers and shredded carrots with the salad mix. I added roasted chicken and dried cranberries in place of the croutons because of my allergy. It came with ranch dressing. The chicken enchilada chili was fantastic. Definitely get a bowl. The quesadilla was just average. They have a plethora of unique beverages to choose from. The only problem is that most of them are lemonade based so if you don't like lemonade your choices are limited. I chose the summer stone fruit lemonade which is peach, nectarine. and apricot flavored lemonade. I am not a big lemonade person so I added a little sugar but the flavor was lovely and refreshing. This spot really surprised me. Our group was feeling something a little more light and healthy after eating some unhealthy food the night before. We were able to make a pick up order ahead of time so that we didn't have to wait at the location. The restaurant is in a small plaza and there were a few cars in the drive thru lane. The line was very quick and it was such an easy exchange to pick up our food. I ordered the roasted autumn salad and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes. The pecans added the perfect amount of sweetness and texture to each bite. The balsamic vinaigrette also paired really well with everything. This is probably one of my top "fast food" experiences based on price, quality and convenience. read more

This place is pretty tasty, the iced coffee in my opinion was a bit sweet but still good. I purchased the southwest wrap extra avo bo tofu or chicken. It was really good, only thing is that there was very little avo and it was on the bottom half of the wrap only and not even half maybe a quarter of the wrap had avo in it only which was a bummer. I'm so glad that a place like Salad and Go exists -- it's such a brilliant concept! Completely drive-through with no storefront to walk into, making it super convenient for those on the go. The salads are impressively large and at a price point that's hard to beat. Honestly, it ends up being more cost-effective than grabbing a pre-made salad from the grocery store. I've been going to Salad and Go for years, and it's become a reliable go-to option when I need something quick, fresh, and a little healthier. The staff is always friendly, and I almost always get my order incredibly fast. They're also open really early in the morning, which is a huge plus if you start your day early -- you can grab your lunch before work or school, no problem. That said, either the portion sizes have slightly shrunk over time or it's just the people putting together the salads at this particular location is less heavy handed. Also, I still miss my absolute favorite -- the Good Greens Salad, which sadly is no longer on the menu. Fingers crossed they bring it back one day! How quickly things have changed in less than another a year this went from being a fast affordable meal to somewhere around the same price as any other fast food place with lower quality than it used to be. Certain items tweaks to stuff are obvious to most people who stopped by. The proteins have been changed items that were seasonal are no longer on rotation in season. What I praise just a year ago as an eight dollar complete meal is only nine dollars for a singular salad with not much left to praise. So from one year time to now the price has increased about five dollars. So from last year's eight for a complete meal, you're looking closer to 12 or 13. The staff is now almost entirely children. I've been going to this Salad and Go since it's opened, and the quality and taste of the food were always top notch. I'm not sure if there has been any changes in staff, but the quality of the food has gone down tremendously. There was a time I could place an order and not have to worry about any issues, now I have to inspect everything before leaving. From missing ingredients, missing dressing and ingredients that are not fresh, there's been a string and steady decline. I recommended this location, and I thought my colleague was being dramatic when they told me this was one of the worse they've tried. What happened today was unacceptable. I had the Cobb salad and what I thought was a tough piece of green, ended up being a fairly large piece of plastic. Even though I've never been careless, at first I thought it might've been from the dressing packet. After further examination, it seems to be the plastic from something they opened in store. We've given this place several chances, but maybe it's time to go to the store on S Ft Apache and W Hacienda, or maybe move on from Salad and Go all together. read more

This was a very yummy experience from this newly opened location. The bright orange and green building always caught my eye when I drove past, so we decided to try it when we had a craving for salad. Ordering is very easy on their website, but keep in mind it truly is salad and go. No dining room is available. There is a drive thru and a pickup window. Staff were very friendly when I picked up the order at the window. They have many salad options plus the option to design your own salad. I went this route and customized roast chicken with various toppings. The salad is not tossed with the dressing. Instead you get a small bag of dressing to add and toss yourself. The salad was very good! The toppings were crisp and fresh, and the chicken was tender and tasty. It's also overall a very good portion size. The only complaint is that the peanut dressing did not have very much peanut flavor. I was hoping for a more robust peanut taste. I think you're an absolute crazy person if you give Salad and Go less than Five stars. I've driven passed the Durango location fifty times, I never felt compelled to try, but something this week told me to give it a try (maybe my unforeseen gut and a willingness to change). The food is great, it's healthy, filling and doesn't make you feel like a sack of potatoes afterwards. The most important thing though is the prices. I spent $20 on two breakfast burritos, a salad and a black coffee. Please tell me where I can get all of that for twenty dollars. In a world of inflation, Salad and Go is taking a stand on corporate greed with a business model that focuses on a pre - Covid market value. Keep in mind, the quality of the food and taste is great as well. The service is also FAST. This is real healthy Fast food. All you three star people are sad and miserable. Any time I see a "healthy" food place pop up I am automatically suspicious of what their definition of healthy is. Most healthy fast food spots promote healthier foods that are marketed to be a better choice than reg fast food, but they're usually no less calorically than the other eateries out there. I'm a nutrition coach and I always look below the surface before trying any new place. Someone gave me a GC to S & G and I was not going to let it go to waste. Having never been here before I went online to check out not only the menu the but the nutrition facts. I was pleasantly surprised that there were some very low cal and even macro friendly options. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken. I opted to skip the dressing and about 320 calories. I asked for the salsa verde instead as my dressing which is only 15 calories (according to the website). Dressing is where most salads do you wrong and negate the point of ordering a lower calorie weight loss friendly meal in the first place. The salad itself was a very a low 285 calories (with chicken). Carbs were low-19g, fat-16.5g, and protein-22g. I am skeptical tha 22 g of protein (2.5 oz of chicken). The tiny portion of chicken would be my only complaint. This girl needs her protein! I would order an extra side of chicken next time. The highlights: The ingredients are very fresh and HEALTHY! The kalamata olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, red onions and mixed greens were very fresh and tasty. I didn't even miss the dressing bc there was so much flavor. The chicken was your run of the mill "fast food" chicken perhaps slightly less processed then say the meat on a McDonald's salad. Definitely not fresh cooked but no complaints, I knew what to expect. The salad was under $8 which I was surprised. Now would I call this a big hearty salad, uh no. Would I come here again for a quick bite on the go, absolutely. But I would expect to be hungry again in about 2 hours. I also got a cold brew coffee with some almond milk and sugar free vanilla. Kindly I'll suggest, stick to what you know S & G. Leave the beans to the caffeine pros. Won't be getting coffee from here again. I will return for a sale when on the go however. That's what they're known for after all. read more

I immediately called the restaurant and told them what happened in which they said I could return for a refund or they could make a new order. I decided to return for a refund the next day in which they said they couldnt refund the order because it wasnt on the same day that I placed the order (whatever that means) and that I had to contact the corporate office in order to have a refund processed. Absolutely ridiculous. I was then given a phone number and email to contact the corporate office to notify them of this problem. I contacted them through phone as well as email to no response. Love salads and love this fast food salad concept. However I've now tried 3 different salads and haven't loved any of them. Don't get me wrong, they're ok but nothing wowed me. Some might ask - how can a salad wow anyone? Well it definitely can as a salad lover. I recommend a few more toppings such as seasonal fresh fruit like strawberries, grapes, blueberries, etc. Especially in the summer months! Love fresh fruit on salads! I'd also love to see crumbled goat cheese, mandarin slices, slivered almonds, and maybe crispy wonton strips. Different textures are always fun in salads. As for the salads from the menu. My Thai salad dressing was too spicy for my tastebuds and I didn't love the basic crunchy toppings (carrots, red bell peppers, purple cabbage, and cucumbers). The caesar is good but something threw me off with the very vinegary dressing. And lastly tried the fajita salad with steak but the steak was on the very chewy side. I might try building my own with one more attempt as I love salads but wish there were more toppings to choose from. Had tried the JALAPENO RANCH SALAD with ROASTED CHICKEN. Also includes corn, tomatoes, pickled red onions, bacon, pepper jack cheese, romaine, mixed greens. Quick and nice service. We did an online order for lunch today and it was super simple. So easy to order online and pickup in 10 mins. We got a Cobb, caprese, fajita salad and drinks. It's simply fine. I don't know if I'll rush to go back. I ordered online for pick up. It was pretty simple to make tweaks/customizations, and they let you sub many ingredients for no charge. Unfortunately, my meal was still about 10 minutes late, per the pick up time. The produce was fresh. One thing I don't like: the tofu is seasoned, which I didn't realize. It has an Asian flavoring to it, which didn't really go well with the Greek salad and BBQ Ranch salad. One of my salads was missing 2 of the basic ingredients (avocado and tortilla strips on the BBQ Ranch Salad). I didn't catch at first, and had to call and go back. I drive by this spot everyday on my way to the office, then I saw the owner on a food segment promoting the business on tv, after seeing all the salads I knew we had to try it. The prices are fantastic, and my salad was fresh and delicious. It was the Roasted Autumn Salad and I'm just thinking about it.
