I can't believe i have not written a review for one of my favorite Cuban restaurants. Their Masitas de Puerco or Lechon are definitely what drives my taste buds wild. It accompanied with Maduros Cuban rice or white rice, you want to get the cuban rice. And their pickled red onion is just delicious when cut into small bits to pair w each element the pork, maduro, the rice and onions all in one fork. I always order the same sandwich because it's so good and I cannot imagine eating anything else from here. The Medianoche is Havana's midnight sandwich. It has smoked ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, mustard sauce, in a sweet egg dough bread. The bread is what makes it different from your standard Cuban sandwich and I can't enough. I love the friendly employees here and ordering is always straightforward via their website. I'll keep coming back over and over again for this delicious and very filling sandwich. Finally tried Cubanidad. I had the 305. I must say this sandwich is perfection. It was toasted nicely and the flavor profile was perfect. My sister ordered the Ropa Vieja. She really enjoyed the whole plate. We purchased a few of the 305 sandwiches and two ropa Vieja plates as takeout. My only complaint is that they packed the sandwiches with the plate meals. And the ropa vieja is saucy, had liquid. The liquid from the plates got the sandwiches wet. Which was a bit disappointing. A must every time I visit Las Vegas. This is my second time coming here and it's just as good as the first. I got the 305 Cuban sandwich with Cuban rice and chicharrones everything was on point. The sandwich was pressed perfectly, bread crispy, and the pork had a lot of flavor. The Cuban rice was solid, and the chicharrones were fresh and crunchy. This was our first but definitely not our last time at Cubanidad 1885! The flavors here are fantastic. I ordered my husband The 305 which is their Miami Cuban sandwich. It has smoked ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickle, and homemade mustard sauce on a Cuban roll. I ordered the Nino Isleno which is the kids plate. I had it with rice and Cuban steak and sweet plantains. It was so good. For dessert we split a flan. It was so delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. We've ordered multiple times. My family had high expectations since used to live in the 305 and eat lots of Cuban food. The only things that are worth it are the ropa vieja and pastelitos. I've tried the cuban sandwich - flavorless and off balance ingredients/meat. The pan con lechon contains boiled pork fat that tastes flavorless as well, as if they didn't even put salt in the water. Absolutely inedible and the few pieces that actually had meat were super dry. The yucca fries are literally four small pieces and don't come with the usual sauce. The Miami style Cuban is my favorite. It's a fast casual concept and most grab their food to-go. There are a few tables inside and a small counter for indoor dining. There's a lot of parking spaces in this plaza so coming here is nice and easy. The food is great. Very authentic and the customer service is friendly as well. Ok, I've been holding out on this place a bit. I used to come here for their plates, which I thought were okay, but their Cuban sandwiches hit! I've visited Miami and Tampa a few times and it's hard to come across a legit cuban sandwich in town. But this is as close as it gets in Vegas. The bread is legit, and the roast pork and ham w/ the mustard sauce are delicious. Panini pressed like a real Cubano. And get this: on Wednesdays, you buy one 305 Cubano and get a second one for only $5. What an effing deal. The fries are pretty good - reminds me of fresher McD's fries. The fried yucca is great too, although I wished they gave a bigger portion. Get the green sauce. All in all, pretty awesome. We'll be back to eat more Cubanos. read more

We live in a Caribbean food desert, so stumbling on this gem really made our day. The 305 is perfection. If you are looking for a pernil sandwich and can't find Puerto Rican cuisine, try this spot. The sandwiches are excellent, the plátanos so sweet. Even that cortadito was exactly what we wanted. Pricing is average for the location but portions are large and service is great. Super friendly. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and greeted us promptly, then provided some tips about the menu and favorite items to order. My husband had the 305 Miami Cuban sandwich. I tried the pan con pollo chicken sandwich. Both were delicious, very flavorful. The service was quick and the food was hot and fresh. We also ordered some empanadas to go, which the staff brought out for us towards the end of our meal. There are 3-4 tables inside plus a small area with barstools for seating. Husband was craving sandwiches so tried out this spot. He got The 305 which he really enjoyed. It was made and served fresh with toasty bread. We also got a few empanadas, the Beef & Olives, Spinach and Cheese, and Sweet Coconut. They were all flavorful and tasty, but also a bit dry. It didn't seem as fresh as I would have wanted, but still it was good . The Sweet Coconut was basically a delicious dessert. We finished this off with amazing Cuban coffee! We love coming to Cubanidad on Fort Apache! The food is always delicious. We usually order the caldo and the guava and cheese pastelitos -- they are so good. My son's absolute favorite is the cream cheese pastry. Many times we order a variety of dishes, and everything we've tried has been flavorful and fresh. We especially enjoy coming at night. The evening staff is always so kind and attentive. My son loves coming here because he says the cashier Danay is his best friend she is very nice.. If you have a hearty appetite or feel like rounding out your meal, definitely spring for a side of Maduros--those sweet plantains are fried to golden perfection. They also serve a terrific chimichurri that adds a bright, herb-y kick to any dish. On top of the mouthwatering food, Cubanidad Express maintains a simple, clean, and welcoming vibe, making it perfect for a quick lunch run or a casual take out dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they take pride in bringing authentic Cuban staples to Vegas. While some might find the prices a touch high for a quick to-go sandwich, I can't complain about paying a bit more for genuine Cuban flavors done right. Cubanidad Express is definitely my new go-to spot anytime I'm craving a taste of Miami. We both had a Cuban sandwich and it's hard to please a legit Cuban like my hubby. The bread is good although not 100% accurate and the mustard they use is a little unusual. Not the norm.
