On June 1st, I paid for an order from Astra Cafe using the Too Good to Go app. I came over to pick up my order, and the restaurant is closed. It has a sign posted saying that it is "Closed Until Further Notice." Meanwhile, it is still listed on the app, and it is taking money from people without providing any food. Total scam. read more

We have stumbled upon at this spot looking for a good latte and we were pleasantly surprised. Location is a bit unusual, it's located in an office building, but it's a very nice cafe , pretty cozy and welcoming. They have a nice and big covered patio. We had the Four Cheese Lavash Pizza and Waffle Fries. Then I ordered a glass of Iced Black Coffee for myself. I also got to try the Caesar Salad. The iced coffee was really good. It was smooth and refreshing and it had a good robust flavor. I was impressed with the pizza. It was delish! The dough was incredible. And the combination of the cheeses was perfect. We came in for a Saturday lunch and it was good but not great. We ordered the spicy chicken wrap with waffle fries. and the Alfredo carbonara. The chicken is a little too over cooked and quite dry. The pasta Alfredo carbonara didn't live up to its name. It's more of some ham, bacon, cheese, and pasta mixed together and doesn't give off that carbonara feeling. Overall it was a decent experience and a good place for some quick breakfast/lunch. Took over an hour to make a "pancake combo". 3 other people were served before and still no food. Then when they saw we were upset they started bringing stuff out. Super confused by all the good reviews on this page. First off the pictures totally fooled me, the reason I came here. Everything looked yummy, Maybe they pertain towards the lunch served here. I however ordered breakfast. The pancake special. What I received imo was what seemed to be pancakes from the freezer?! They were very bland and sponge like. I literally felt like I was eating McDonald's pancakes. Which i prefer not to eat. Also you cannot order scrambled eggs. Odd. Service was decent, only one guy working. Took long to get water and drinks as he was the only person working. When we came in there was only 1 table there who were already eating. As we waited for our drinks 3 other tables sat down. We didn't get our waters until a couple of minutes before our food arrived. My husband and Daughter got the spicy chicken wrap with French fries. Which they said was good but not worth the drive to get there. Breakfast would be rated zero stars if I could. Lunch 2 stars so that's why 2 stars are given. read more

As we checked out from our hotel, we were looking for a place for having brunch. So we yelped it, and found this place. There was nobody there when we arrived we were wondering if we made a good choice? Then we sat down, look at the menu, and we found it interesting. We gave it a try. We had croissant, French toast, Belgium, waffles, with fresh strawberries, and Nutella, to poach eggs, and buttermilk pancakes. The the course on French toast was very good. The Belgium, waffles and pancakes were good too. However, I think that the texture of the batter is not at its very best, it could've been better. Also I could taste a little bit of dry-flour aftertaste. Wondering if they use corn flour or something else, not sure. That's just more details from my observation. Anyway, after you put syrup or Nutella combined with the fresh fruit and will taste good still. Another thing that I like, they serve dishes with a small cups of fresh fruits without anything added on it. So that was perfect to me, because some other places often put syrup on the fresh fruits or adding some other unnecessary stuff. So this was perfect! I ordered the Belgian Waffle special, which comes with maple syrup and your choice of Nutella or jam, and fresh fruit. The waffle was light and crispy, and the fruit was fresh and delicious! Combined with the Nutell and whipped cream, it was a sweet delight! The special comes with coffee or tea, but I wanted to try their passion tea, so there was an additional charge for that. I enjoyed the tea. The restaurant is small but cute, with only seven tables and four seats at the coffee bar area. They also have outdoor patio seating, but it faces Rainbow Ave, so it was a bit noisy. They have a large selection of coffee drinks, smoothies, and teas. I could see the Lavazza machine, but I decided to pass on coffee this time, even though I enjoy Lavazza coffee. All in all, it's a good place for a quick meal. The server was polite and attentive. I am so glad this place has reopened! They shut down last year before Covid and the location is back with new management/ownership, a new menu, and some updates to the dining room and patio- the latter is now covered so you can sit outside any time of year, which will be key to enjoying the space come the hot summer months. I came in with friends for brunch and shared several dishes. The Lighthouse Avocado toast with a poached egg was my main, added salmon- huge portion, super fresh, served with a side salad. We also had the Chicken Sandwich, which was huge and loaded up with fresh avocado, with a side of crispy waffle fries. The beet salad was also super fresh, with arugula, beets, and goat cheese- I would love to add grilled chicken to this. We also tried a slice of cake, a kachapuri croissant (stuffed with cheese), and various drinks- I especially liked the London fog latte, similar to a chai. Even sitting on the patio, service was friendly and attentive and came by frequently to refill drinks and check on us. I am planning to come back and try more of the new menu, but hoping they eventually add back some of the dishes I preferred before: the cold cucumber soup, watermelon feta salad, and the shopska salad were some of my favorite dishes here before. read more

Ordered the beet goat cheese salad, and my mom got the healthy sliders with cross cut fries. Salad was good and had walnuts which they should probably add that ingredient to their menu since some people are allergic to nuts. My mom got the healthy sliders and the fries were so yummy! Crisp and tasty. The sliders were a little difficult to eat and the patty was like a meatball. My husband ate the leftovers and was not a fan of the slider, but liked the cross cut fries. Please do not let the nice photos of their food posted on their website deceive you. I have had breakfast at ihop and Denny's with better flavor. Pancakes are made on a some sort of press that leaves the middle doughy and the edges dry and hard. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and even that wasn't made correctly. Raw egg was still in them. Bacon was soft and the orange juice was out of a carton. No effort on making the food good so thumbs down on that. Service was good. Ambiance was okay, just your normal strip mall cafe feel and kinda dark. Not recommending to anyone. read more

Walked into a pretty full place ~80% on a Friday brunch. Seated right away and had received our food promptly after ordering. The food I ordered was a Lighthouse Avocado Toast with Smoked salmon which was so delightful and filling, but not over the top. I still feel healthy and got my omega-3, protein, and super healthy fats to help absorb your nutrients. Given the large volume of smoothie options, I'll be returning for seconds with my juicing buddy (ie. husband). Glad my friend found this spot! Service: I made a reservation which was a little difficult trying to understand an accent but excellent hospitality overall. We ordered the white mocha latte which my friends said was one of the better white mochas they've tried. Croissant waffles were crispy yet soft on the inside which is always the best. Pancakes were super fluffy; came out looking like clouds. Even the whipped cream on top all of em tasted homemade. Not something that came outta a can. Not too sweet is a plus for me. Complimented each other. I had the khachaphuri with bacon. Wasn't sure what to expect and a pastry thing came out. I expected the bacon to be next to it but, it was inside lol VERY TASTY. I found Strip View Cafe on Yelp when I was looking up places to go to for my bi-weekly brunch with my friend. The food looked amazing so we had to stop by and try. It is in a mini shopping center. At first when the GPS was telling me to turn into the center, I thought we were going the wrong way. Then I saw the cafe sign & I felt relieved lol. The sign is right in front of the cafe. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. When we walked in, we walked all the way to where it seemed like it was the register area. They asked us if we wanted to be seated inside or outside & we chose to sit inside (its so hot in Vegas right now to be outside lol). The cafe is very cute. The tables have cute decor as well. It was very clean & tidy. The waitress seated us & gave us a few minutes to pick our drinks. Can I just say that I looove this coffee menu. I was so blown away from all the options they had to offer. I did not know what to choose. I asked the waitress for a recommendation on cold coffees and she recommended the Caramel Macchiato. My friend ordered the Oreo Frappe. My coffee drink was so delicious! Not too sweet & not too strong. My friend loved her drink as well. We took more time trying to choose our meal. The waitress came two times & we still asked for more time. I just wanna say thank you for your patience. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, so we were very indecisive. Looking for an outdoor brunch on a Sunday morning. Could be a challenge. We were able to make reservations at Strip View Cafe, which is a big plus in my book. When we arrived, there were a few empty tables on the patio, so we had our choice. I was in the mood for a breakfast item that I can't make at home. I went with the croissant French toast ($15). It has two French toast croissants with some fresh strawberries and a heavy handed drizzle of lemon-cream topping. Very tasty. My wife got the frittata ($16). It comes out in a piping hot skillet. Two strips of bacon on top. Plus you can add in up to 4 toppings. Very good. My son-in-law got the Greek salad ($13). Beautiful presentation and a huge portion. My gripe - the coffee came out warm, not hot. Getting the water glass refilled was also tough. So food rates 4 stars, service 3 stars, and the patio 4 stars.
