Scheduling is very challenging. You cannot get a firm window of time with the first call. I requested a Thursday 11/2 visit and called on Monday 10/30. I received a call Tuesday with a 4 hour time window and was told I'd be called on Wednesday with a 2 hour window. I then found out later on Tuesday that I had to be out of town for work on Thursday and was trying to change the work schedule. I couldn't call Zerorez back by 3:30 as I was on the phone investigating this unexpected change to my work schedule. I was told I would be called back by 4pm if I didn't call by 3:30. I did not receive the 4pm call. I talked with Zerorez today, 11/1 and was told I'd be charged a $50 cancellation fee if I changed the day. UHH, NO!! GET IT TOGETGER AND RESPECT THE FACT THAT SITUATIONS CAN CHANGE QUICKLY. SCHEDULE BUSY CONSUMERS WITH A SINGLE CALL!! I don't have time to bounce from a four hour window of time one day and then a 2 hour window of time the next day. I elected to use another cleaning service and was scheduled with a single 7 minute call, for a future date with a 2 hour window of time. read more

Honestly amazing work from Matt and Skip! We moved into a new house and thought the carpets had no prayer but with how completely detailed they were the carpets look amazing. This is the second time I've used zerorez and I would highly recommend them! Been extremely happy both times. They even showed me with a black light areas where my dog had made his 'mark' , which was helpful. After the treatment they shined the black light and the spots were gone. The solution they use is very gentle but effective which I really like because I have a 2 yrs old and goldendoodle. After hearing great things on WIBC about Zerorez, we scheduled a cleaning for our dining room, family room & master bedroom, plus the stairs & a sofa. The technician called 30 min prior to arrival, as promised. He was very personable. The carpets were soft & looked great when he was finished, & I love the orange-scented protectant he applied to the floors. Our sofa is off-white & had a couple stains where we had spilled things, tried to spot clean, & it dried w/marks around the edge. These did not disappear when he cleaned the upholstery, which was disappointing; but I should've known better than to ever buy an off-white couch! The only draw-back is that they don't move furniture-at least, not anything heavy. Still, I would highly recommend them. I don't care for the normal detergents used by other companies. read more

We've used Zerorez twice - once for rusty grout in a shower and again for carpet cleaning. The grout work yielded a better result than expected. Not perfect, but really good. Now I can keep it clean myself. The carpet work was good - all stains out and everything fresh. However, bear in mind that stairs take much longer to dry. It was 6 hours for the rooms/hall, more like 12 hours with a fan for the stairs. But the stairs are so clean! The techs that came out were both very personable and efficient. read more

My wife heard about Zerorez on the radio - they were running a $49 for one room special. We had a room that needed to be cleaned and figured this would be a good way to go, especially since they advertise being environmentally friendly (I'm no expert in this area and can't speak authoritatively to whether or not these claims are true). We gave them a call and they were able to come out the next day. Their technician was very friendly and professional. He wore shoe covers in the house, put corner guards up to prevent the cords and hoses from damaging the walls, and even did the closet in the room we had cleaned for free. Overall, the service provided was great and we recommend giving them a try. read more

Just used zeroes for the first time yesterday. My carpet feels very clean, without the chemicals & residue other methods leave. There is a slight "chlorine" scent, due to the alkaline state of the water used. So slight that I really have to search for it. I had some stains from puppy accidents, plant water overflows and generally dirty traffic areas. The stains are nearly gone. Certainly lightened to be less noticible. Michael was respectful, professional, on time & thorough. I'm very happy. If I had any changes to request, I would ask for a coupon (fairly expensive compared to others), and a follow up call after treatment to retreat stains. I will definitely recommend! read more

SO THRILLED WITH THIS COMPANY!! Everyone from the lady who scheduled my appointment to the technician was a delight. Zack, the tech, was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions confidently and with a great deal of knowledge. My 6 year old carpets look new again. No chemicals are used, and they still are pristine! And my home smells fresh and clean. If I had to make any kind of negative comment, it would be that the tech didnt freely explain what was going on unless I asked. There are multiple steps to the carpet cleaning process, and I would have liked being told what was going on each step of the way. But, I asked, so no big deal. After having Zerorez clean our carpet, we experienced a carpet feel of crunchy and sticky. Zerorez came back and re-treated the carpet. This did not removed the residue left in the carpet. The carpet was still sticky and hard. This is very disappointing as our carpet was fairly new. We now have carpet that feels horrible. I have no idea why this happened, but it did, and we are very disappointed with the service. To add, the technician rubbed paint off my baseboards the first time it was cleaned. The second time he came out, he damaged the stair trim by chipping off paint and leaving the wood trim soaking wet. Needless to say... I will not have Zerorez come back. The commercials we hear on the radio are very appealing, but all in all, it's just another service company were quality of service has failed their perceived reputation. Since Zerorez has been in business for some time now, maybe my experience was an isolated incident. I can't say the issues I experienced will be the same for others. All I can say is I had comfortable good quality frieze carpet before treatment, and now I have hard sticky carpet. My goal now is to re-treat with clear water in hopes of removing the residue. Zerorez says your carpet will be dry in 4 to 6 hours. I had my carpet done Monday morning it is now Wednesday and my carpet is still very moist. They also advertise no residue left on carpet. That's not true. read more

I had one room cleaned because of pet "accidents". They told me that the service was not guaranteed. I was charged $69 for one gallon of a treatment that would help neutralize the odors with a deep extraction. The carpet looks better than I expected but the odor while diminished is still there. Dishonest about their ability to remove pet odor from carpet. Given that their prices are higher than their competition, there really ought to be something to show for it. My experience with this service was that it left the carpet in exactly the same condition that it was already in - it looked and smelled the same after the carpet dried. And their customer service did not get back with me when I let them know I was unhappy. My money is gone with nothing to show for it and no follow up to discuss some kind of alternative or refund. read more

I used this company because of their positive yelp status and ratings. My dog had accidents in my bedroom and they cleaned my entire house. The following day my bedroom, which was the reason for the appointment, smelled worse than before. I called and they came out to do a more invasive treatment (had to pay more) and the smell was yet again even stronger! I asked that day what my steps would be if this still didn't fix the issue and was told to call their office and they would address next steps. I called and they told me that they don't do refunds unless there is a billing issue, claiming that I signed it was not a 100% guarantee. They were not helpful on the phone and gave me the run around. Very poor customer service and I had to go thru my CC company in order to finally get a refund after also calling their corporate office. If I could give 0 stars, I would. After hearing all the hype and commercials I thought I would try Zerorez as I was ready to put my house on the market. The cost was a little high and they charged extra for doing my small hallway, however I thought it would be worth it if they turned out as good as all the advertisements. The customer service was great but now wish I would have saved my money as the carpets looked great when he left. But it took all night for the carpets to dry and then there were spots showing up the next morning that I never saw before. To top it off within a week or two after my carpets look more worn than they every did. Also found a small hole in the carpet that wasn't there before. So not worth the money it cost me and I will never use them again. Save your money anyone could do this good a job for half the money. read more
