We recently had our sectional sofa and ottoman cleaned by OCD, and they did an excellent job! Scheduling was easy, and they sent a couple of reminders of our appointment along the way. On the day of the cleaning, Michael texted me updates as to when to expect him, when he was on his way, and ETA. He is a very kind and respectful young man. He took measurements and explained the process and let me know approximately how long it would take. He was very through and our sofa & ottoman look like new again (we've had them for about 11 years and they've never been cleaned). Everything was cleaned up before he left. These people are scammers and their reply to my review is an absolute lie. The owner said he would personally come and re-do the cleaning after he checker out the complaints that we had. But only after his van was fixed from an accident on 2/6. He never called back.. didn't follow up and then posted his ridiculous response to my review that did not match what he told me on the phone. They scammed an elderly lady.. so beware. DO NOT hire these people. I will be contacting the better business bureau and I will post all over anywhere so people don't get scammed. read more

We normally clean our own carpets, but after we had some contractors recently, all the climbing up and down our carpeted stairs, with boots on (required by law, it seems), it just looked like a mess, and no amount of self cleaning seemed to do the trick. Being very fussy about the cleanliness and tidiness of our home, we sought out Yelp for what we felt was the best home carpet cleaning compamy we could find, that didn't use harsh and toxic chemicals, and we finally came up with OCD. I then called the company....spoke to a very friendly lady by the name of Melissa, told her what I needed done, tshe gave me a rough quote, and then helped me to set up an appointment date and time. She then told me that Michael will be out to do the job, and that he would call me when he was on the way. So easy. Michael showed up on time, was a very nice and professional young man, took measurements of the jobs that needed to be done, confirmed the price for the jobs, we gave the ok, and he was ready to go and did a great job cleaning our stair carpet..... Oh, and since there was a minimum charge of $300 for the visit, and our stair carpet cleaning was not that much, we decided to get our sectional sofa professionally cleaned too...as it was about time anyway, and he did a great job with that too. Now that the cushions are all dry, and the sofa cushions all placed back where they should be, the sofa actually looks brand new now.....**smile** We couldn't be happier with the whole process, and will definitely be calling OCD again to have our bedroom carpets cleaned. In fact, we had asked Michael how they would manage all the heavy furniture in the bedrooms, and he patiently and expertly advised how this job would be best done. Was able to book and get a cleaning in 48 hours! We bought our house over 3 years ago and have never had the stone cleaned, who knows if the previous owners ever had it cleaned. I knew it was dirty but I didn't realize just how bad it was til Michael cleaned it. The guy they sent to do the job seemed to be in his late teens or early 20s and asked me very nosy, creepy questions. Asked me where my parents were and whether I lived alone. We used OCD to clean our stairs, upstairs hallway, bedrooms, patio furniture cushions, area rugs, upholstered couches and chairs. They do a very thorough cleaning using green products with no odors or residue. We loved Jason and Michael. The pricing was very fair. They wet mopped our wood floors after cleaning our great room furniture and area rug. They placed plastic under the furniture legs to prevent indented marks in the area rug and on the feet of all furniture in every carpeted room that they cleaned. They were careful to keep the door open only a few inches for their hose the entire time they cleaned. They wore protective shoe covers and offered us protective shoes covers so we could walk on the damp carpeting until it dried. I can't say enough about how grateful their service is! We will have them back to clean our garage epoxy floor when we are ready for that. read more

Tried to convince me that I made an error and went on and on about the different services they could provide. Finally gave quote that was about a 55% increase from the original quote. OCD is top notch! Jordan and team provided not only quality service but the best customer care experience we've had in a long time. Our puppy had unfortunately urinated on our couch and area rug, but thankfully OCD came to the rescue to restore both. Jordan and his technician were very meticulous with the entire cleaning process and did not cut corners. In fact they took the extra time and work giving the couch cushions multiple surface and injection retreatments until the odors were completely gone. They also thoroughly cleaned our area rug and there are no more urine odors there either. Definitely a great job done, helped BIG TIME with a nasty problem caused by my former roommate: ongoing use of carpet powder which was actually making me ill! She knew what she was doing, too... some people are just that ugly unfortunately :( So when I got exceptionally thorough service on my carpet, I was *very* pleased. Definitely all smiles! Here's the thing, though... I wanted to be as happy with the carpet after it dried, but the next day, I just wasn't. That's why it's taken me a while (2 mos+) to write the review that I'd promised. Here's the thing: This carpet is very old & should honestly be replaced. Who am I kidding? It should've been replaced before I moved in! Wasn't because my landlords are quite frugal. I didn't tell the technician I was a renter & maybe I should've. I accept responsibility for that... it's been a touchy subject for me since losing my own house due to poor health. Point is, these carpets didn't handle the cleaning very well. In areas the tech went over repeatedly, they were noticeably stretched. Looks better since drying fully & more so since the furniture was put back in place. Yet this was a worrisome development because I'm not the owner. Even though the work was done with their approval, I didn't want to have to say: "I think there's a problem..." So, I delayed reviewing until I could be more certain there would be no serious ramifications caused by the cleaning. Everything appears to be just fine, and it's not even noticeable now. Still, it caused me more worry than I would've liked. Long story short: 99% of people probably wouldn't have ANY ISSUES, because they would *replace* a carpet this worn out. It's just, for me & any other renters in similar situations, a very thorough cleaning may have some side effects. If you're in a similar situation, be sure you tell them: I'm a renter, so please clean as well as you can/as gently as you can." Even with this issue, I'M STILL INCREDIBLY THANKFUL TO THIS COMPANY! Truth is, I may have gone into such detail that what happened has made readers more uneasy than I intended. End result is that I can *breathe* freely again, and without fearing for my safety! It's what I needed, more than anything else. That's why I deducted just the 1 star. Before OCD Cleaners, I'd learned continued use of that powdery deodorizer crud without effective vacuuming can be really dangerous, often leading to bacterial growth that's unsafe to breathe! I couldn't say for sure if there was a bacteria issue or not, but my roomie actually stopped vacuuming for the last 6mos she was here. UGH, it was disgusting... & I began feeling worse & worse. The situation was truly terrible! I've got weakened lungs thanks to a genetic condition + serious allergies, so even without bacteria, the carpet had become plenty dangerous enough to me! I desperately needed help with it -- good help! More importantly, if it'd been my own shabby old carpet, I honestly wouldn't have cared if it was a bit stretched in a couple spots so long as the technician got it as clean as possible. Bottomline: He really truly cleaned up the mess I was in, and for that, I'm *very* grateful! Now I know I can trust them, especially if I ever have a serious health-related need again. read more
