Zest sent Peter and Claire to clean our house before our big move-in day. We had so much work done on the home that we wanted a nice, clean house to move into and Zest really came through for us. Peter and Claire spent about 3 hours to clean the entire house from top to bottom. I met them in the morning to give some general directions and then I had to leave to coordinate the move, but Peter and Claire were able to take my instructions and run with it. They did an amazing job cleaning some of the tougher areas like the oven and the door/window sills. I never hired a cleaning company before so I did not know what to expect but I am definitely calling them again for future cleaning needs. We just had our home cleaned by Zest and we were so pleased. They did the quality of work I would do myself if I had the time--and I am picky and detail-oriented! They were extremely polite and focused, and so great with our dog. The communication was fantastic with Martina before and with the team during the cleaning. They needed some extra time due to the condition of one of our showers, but informed us of this right away. They charged us for the exact amount of time they were here (in fact, I think they actually gave us 5-10 minutes since they were here from 2pm to 6:10pm and we only paid for 4 hours). Fantastic Job!!! Claire and Peter deep cleaned our home yesterday. I did not realize how dirty our house was until it was clean. They did not miss a spot. I would highly recommend them. They were on time and friendly and worked their butts off. From the baseboards to the blinds and everything in between. I was moving into a home that was supposed to be move in ready but upon picking up the keys and taking one look at the place I knew it had to be professionally cleaned. The home was disgusting! There were urine stains in all 3 bathrooms, there were hard water stains all throughout the bathrooms, mold, and just filth. The rest of the home was right along those same lines. It was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. I called Martina, I needed the home cleaned ASAP. She immediately shifted her schedule around and was able to get Kate and Jacob to my new residence the next day. Kate and Jacob arrived right on time and wasted no time in getting to cleaning. They did an absolutely wonderful job. They scrubbed everything, urine stains gone! Mold gone! Hard water stains and dirt gone! They did and thorough cleaning of the home. I hired Zest based on their reviews to clean a 2bed/2bath 950sf vacant apt. They estimated 2.5 hours at $35/hour. Close to $100 Seemed very reasonable. On the day of the cleaning I left a key. Shortly after the 2 cleaners arrived I received a text while at work. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I was being told by the owner that that the bathrooms were going to take 2 hours EACH. Keep in mind these are compact bathrooms with shower/tub, toilet and small sink. They were average dirty from the last tenant. Nothing horrible. I was also told the kitchen would take 2 hours due to the burnt on stove grime. 2 hours? So far we are at 6 hours for 2 small bathrooms & a tiny kitchen. The rest of the place just needed to be vacuumed. I only agreed to these ridiculously over-priced rates because I was already set to move in the next day. When I got home that evening I expected the kitchen & bathrooms to be sparkling clean but I was very disappointed that the bathroom counters were not even touched. & they broke one stove coil. I've since had another cleaning company come in & it takes then 1.5 hours to clean everything & it's perfect every time. I would never call Zest again. read more

This is my first experience using a house cleaning service and I was fairly nervous. I am pretty OCD about my house and was concerned I would not get a thorough cleaning. However, I had to start somewhere as I am increasing hours at work, have three kids, a messy husband and two dogs. The owner, Martina got back to me with a quote within a few hours and I had a cleaning date setup within two days. I had received and spoken to three other cleaning services but liked Martina and prices were within same range. Cleaners, Claire and Peter, arrived on time and brought all necessary cleaning tools. my husband and i are selling our home and i wanted a very thorough deep clean for staging the home and professional photographs. kate and jacob from ZEST came to our house were WONDERFUL. i called both eva and martina to try and schedule an appointment. they both responded within a few hours and martina was able to send a couple to my house on very short notice and work around my schedule. kate and jacob arrived on time and allowed me to go through my list of things that were very important to me. they worked tirelessly for 5 hours to get my house the cleanest it has ever been! we thought it would only take 3 hours but after they started working i knew it would take longer. this obviously cost me more (paying an hourly rate) but i was happy to pay it for the work they did. i have regular house cleaners that come every two weeks and i am sorry i haven't let them go sooner. kate and jacob were EXTREMELY detail oriented and the cleaning they did was fantastic. i am very very very VERY picky about cleaning (and have been known to clean things after my previous house cleaners leave). i was so happy with their work and having them do this job well was a burden taken off of my shoulders amongst the work of preparing my house to put on the market. they were wonderful. the price was not cheap but was comparable to other professional cleaning services i called. again, for me, i was happy to pay the money for a job VERY WELL DONE. this is one happy customer. read more
