While in line, someone suggested the souvlaki and I was already aiming to get a gyro so I knew we were gonna be good. Parking was busy but not impossible to find here. It's fast casual. You can get food, some extra desserts and drinks/coffee and extra pita/flatbread or tzatziki sauce. I got a gyro and a "small" poutine. Let me just say that I've had a LOT of gyros and this one was by far the best. Tons of meat, toppings, just enough tzatziki that I didn't want to order an extra side (still should've). The poutine was enough to feed a family of four. Holy smokes this was spectacular. I'd have gotten extra gravy bc it's so much tastier here in Canada than anyplace in the USA. Family owned, this is a great place to come alone or with friends. You can eat something different every single time and it's just so delicious. I will be back. I am honestly not surprised this is still here although I am shocked it didn't take a bigger hit during the pandemic. This was one of the only places a guy that I was seeing when I was in my early twenties and I would go, late at night, when we knew we wouldn't catch anyone else we knew out. The food was predictable, always - and not in a bad way - it just hit the spot after a night of drinking, or when you are hungover. The salad will forever have too much dressing and will be the unhealthiest thing but the souvlaki here was honestly the most shocking thing. Mind you I have not been in six and a half or seven years so don't take my word for it, but for a place to be around this long and still have loyal customers - they're really doing something right, it's not just sheer luck so give it a go! We had come here on a Sunday morning at around 11:30 am for lunch; we were surprised to see how large the restaurant was, and how many food options were available to order. Once we had placed our orders at the front, we sat down with our receipts, and waited for our numbers to be called. This restaurant was right across the street from the airport therefore, we were able to see airplanes taking-off and landing, which was a nice view. Once our numbers were called, we were shocked to see how large the meals were. I had settled on the chicken souvlaki on a pita, and my mother had chosen the chicken souvlaki dinner, with the intention of taking the leftovers home for her supper. The chicken pieces were very large, with many pieces in both the pita and on the plate. The chicken was tender, tasting fresh. All of the sides were also a good combination, with a lot of tzatziki sauce. Overall, this restaurant was definitely over the top; excellent food (especially for the price), great atmosphere (watching the planes go by), and wonderful customer service (took all of the dishes away from the tables after dining). This restaurant, quasi fast food restaurant, is right next to our hotel. It was extremely busy, but no long waits. There were quite a few orders being picked(to-go) while I waited for our burger with bacon. The menu said 5 ounces; it seemed larger. It was more than enough for a share! The regular topping are : tomato, shredded lettuce, onion, ketchup, mustard, pickle and mayo. I asked for ours without mustard. P.S. it was very good and very sloppy. I am glad there was no mustard also dripping out!!! It was delicious. We went to Pearson Pub afterwards where I asked Alex, the friendly bartender, about the busyness of Zet's as it is not in a commercial or residential neighborhood. I heard a lot of good things about this place, I tried the halibut fish sandwich and the chicken souvlaki dinner, the halibut fish sandwich was really tasty massive portion, price is a bit steep but their portion size is massive, the fish was really crispy they charge a 1 dollar extra for cheese, the tartar sauce is really tasty and the fish was crispy and soft on the inside. The chicken souvlaki was tender, the potatoes were tasty, I really like the fish sandwich, easily two people can eat the sandwich, I can see why this place has been 50 years in business. My favorite order here is the pork souvlaki dinner. This meal is good for 2 people to share. The pork souvlaki was so tender and juicy. The lemon potatoes and rice were seasoned perfectly. The greek salad was like a meal itself. I think the portions are much bigger than dine-in. You need to go to the cashier to place your order. This restaurant used to be 24 hours, but ever since the pandemic hit, they could not continue those hours. There's a large dining area if you are looking to enjoy your meal. The lineup was constant through the entire time we were there! Literally from the cashier straight through the front doors! For a minimum of $20 per person, we were impressed! Not cheap but still a great value. Big portions that are cooked well and with fresh ingredients. The chicken souvlaki dinner is definitely the most popular. Finally got a chance to try out Zet's after a day of shopping, and it did not disappoint! The pork gyro meal was huge, easily enough for 2-3 meals especially with the calamari appetizer we ordered with it. Portions were large, lots of meat and delicious tzatziki sauce. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options. Also liked the unique aviation themed ambiance, especially with this location being right next to Pearson Airport! Even though it was packed that day, the service was fast. Didn't take long for me to get to the front. So, we go inside and see the area is pretty big, lots of seating areas for couples and groups. we had to order at the counter, sadly we all ordered the same dish chicken souvlaki but I wanted to order a burger it looked super good. Wow, when I saw the food coming out, my eyes widened as it was HUGE. I was at the Reptile and Plant Expo on a whim over the weekend, and this spot was just 3 minutes from the International Centre in Sauga, making it super convenient to grab a bite and head back to do more shopping. The food was delicious; I had the chicken sandwich, and my partner had the gyro dinner. We even had another portion to go, enough for a meal the next day. Is it the best Greek food? Maybe not, but it certainly offers great value, and I was pleased. The only thing is they put wayyyy too much dressing and sauce in our food. First time back in several years hadn't been there since pre COVID. Tuesday night, not very busy around 7pm. Prices are a bit higher now -- $25 tax in for chicken souvlaki and pop. Service still fairly quick, dishes still fairly large -- you get a huge amount of white meat chicken. But quality isn't what I remember. Either it's not as good as it used to be or my memory far exceeds reality. Salad has so much dressing it's literally soggy from it by the time you're halfway done. Rice is decent but potatoes lacking in flavour. Chicken is tender and good quality white meat but just not that flavourful. I needed the tzatziki otherwise it's too bland. Bread is ok but not toasted or grilled. For sheer volume you're not gonna be disappointed. But I've had better Greek even in food courts. I used to go out of my way to eat here but not feeling that way so much any more. But it's still worth a trip if you have a large appetite I guess. read more

We came here after watching quite a few influencer on instagram promoting their fish sandwich. This place has a consistent line-up and had ample seating available but it was packed which is pretty good sign of quality, quantity and all. We got the famous halibut fish on a bun-$18.95. - Comes with homemade tartar sauce, coleslaw and if you want a slice of cheddar cheese its $1 extra but we opted out of that and a nice generous piece of fried golden brown halibut. It was pretty good! Calamari App-$14.95 - Nice small size rings cut up and with tentacles as well. Not overly battered and not too chewy. Zet's Famous Burger-$13.95 - 10oz beef with your toppings of choice. Pretty decent burger, but not comparable to having smash burger patties as those have more juice and fattiness to it. Overall, this place has been around since 1967 and close by to the airport. We saw the portions are pretty good size, but then again the price you pay there is above standard too. read more

The portions were well sized as I remember but the gyro dinner I found was very salty. I ate the salad but couldn't get through even a quarter of the dinner, definitely not the quality I remember. I'm not sure if it had changed hands over the years but it was definitely not the restaurant it once was. Safe to say I won't bother going back. It's a shame to see what it has become. read more

I was missing half my order. I called the manager to explain, she said I lied and she apparently checked the camera but the thing is my bag was stapled shut so I know for sure the driver didn't steal my items and the items were not there. All I wanted was the items that were missing, this was a huge misstep customer service wise - instead of giving a customer for over 10 years just the things that were missing and I would even go drive 30 minutes to pick it up - instead she called a loyal customer a liar, even though I was lied to by the management. I'm so utterly disgusted by how I was treated and the total disrespect for such a minor issue that could have easily been corrected. This is a Toronto staple and a must place to visit before and / or after the airport. I have been going here for 15-20 years and always gotten the Chicken Souvlaki dinner with extra tzatziki. Its a cash only spot, so I recommend you plan in advance. There's also take out containers if you can't finish the large portions. The chicken souvlaki is great! Sometimes the chicken is a little dry, but overall a quality and must try meal. The potatoes are perfectly cooked, and so is the rice.
