This is easily the best Mediterranean food in Flowood, MS and what makes it even better is the person behind that counter and let me tell you why.

Overall 3.25 stars. Located and connected to a gas / connivence station, the place is open however small. There are about 8 tables which seats from 2-6 people. The staff were professional and friendly. A locally owned Mediterranean eatery. The menu is limited for more takeout food however you can sit down to eat it. This was my 1st time at the establishment so I grabbed Number 13: Beef and Lamb Gyro Combo, 3.25 Stars. The combo came w a Greek salad, Humus, Herb Rice Pilaf, a single Pita bread, drink and the Star of the show - the sliced Lamb and Beef. Now the Salad and Hummus is an option where you could ask for Fries instead of the salad and hummus . The Rice Pilaf has peas and diced carrots with mild Greek Herbs infused in the rice. The hummus was decent which was smooth and creamy with an occasional chunky Chickpeas for taste and texture. Also instead of a soda or sweet tea drink, get the Lebanese tea. It has a lemon based flavor using Black Tea and is slightly sweetened. Price: 4.5 Stars: The price for the combo is $14.99 which is a good deal for the amount of food you get. However, I wish it came with Two Pita bread instead of One. Two is great so you can scoop up the hummus and the meat. I recommend the place and would come again to taste other items on the menu such as Chicken Shawarma and combo sandwiches. One more thing - the music genre is "rave" style so get ready for some "disco" dance music and make sure you wear your "dancing clothes". Not much for my taste but it was humorous .

Zeus surprised me big time! I was traveling for work and coming into town late. They were close by and had pick up available. My food was ready in under 15 mins and the team was very polite. Everything was hot and fresh! Not usually a chicken person but it hit different- good seasoning! Personal favorite was the baklava! I'd recommend Zeus for a good, quick Mediterranean bite to eat!

Soft music playing, quick service and tables available to eat in or they have take out available. There were 8-10 tables in the restaurant. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate to share and it was delicious. Wasn't huge though if you're a big eater, you should definitely get your own order.

I ordered spinach pies - they were hard very much over cooked with no taste what's so ever - and very small for $10 - if I didn't have to come back from break I would take them back - I asked for a side of sauce and it was an extra charge of $2 - over priced and tasteless !

Awesome little Mediterranean style spot! Good sized menu with plenty of healthy options, and the service has been nothing short of friendly and helpful. I'm starting a Mediterranean diet, this place is now my go-to for lunch during the work week, as I can pick something different each time and know that it will all be wonderful.

My boy Monty can bring it. Truly some of the best food I've had in jackson all out of a gas station eatery. Love the grape leaves with taziki sauce. Both are awesome. Pita bread dipping abounds. Chicken Arabic sandwich is awesome as is the pasta. Tried a spinach pie today (ty chef) and it was equally delightful. Love the feta tucked away inside. Hummus is a dream and hospitality is on display at all times. They get a rush at lunch but come by for supper and ask for Monty. He's the man and he'll take great care of u. Tell him Dave sent u.

9. Chicken Shawarma Salad I recently discovered Zeus as its close to our office. They have a very friendly team that quickly learns who you are and what you typically order. The service is fast and the food is good. What else could you ask for? Highly recommend!

I was craving baba ganoush and was out Lakeland Drive for a doctor's appointment. I knew right away the food must be good. The line was already near the front door. A lot of people, including me, had opted for carry out. I brought home an order of baba ganoush, the gyro sandwich for my husband and cheese pies. Delicious! This is not a place for a romantic meal, as it is housed next to a gas station. However, the menu is extensive and the food we had was tasty and authentic. I'll be back. read more

(I started this review about a month ago and forgot to post it): I had a co-worker who told me about this place. We went on our lunch break (it took a little longer to get our food than expected only because there was a huge order in front of us -- I was told it's normally super fast service!) Right away, we were greeted by everyone. I went with the spicy chicken wrap and I wish I could explain how delicious it was! It was the perfect amount of spicy and the amount of food you get for the money is A+! Update: I went again today with my boyfriend and everything was just as good the second time. Still greeted by smiling faces and delicious food (and the food came fast!) I definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I ran in here for lunch one day. It was absolutely packed but I still got my food in a decent amount of time. The girl at the counter was very nice. I liked the food but the salad was soggy with dressing and that's something coming from me because I cover my salad in dressing. The hummus was really good. I'll probably return. read more

Pretty good for what it is. Not the best Mediterranean food I've had but for a quick bite it was good, fresh and healthy. We also had some froyo it was good. The pita they gave me was nice and hot but it was really tough and I saw she got it out of a package so it wasn't fresh. read more

I absolutely love this food there are several Greek places to eat in this area and this is definitely one of my favorite places. It has a completely different flavor than the other places in town so it may lean more towards middle eastern but whatever it is I like it. read more

We have patiently waited for this restaurant to open back up after COVID. We've eaten here before and it was wonderful! The gyro meat was seasoned beautifully and the fries were delicious as well. However, this time, everything was a little off. The gyro meat was bland and the sauce was just terrible. We had even ordered extra, money wasted. The fries were dried out and cold and overall tasted like they had been sitting out all day. The pita bread used was pretty good but so thin that it just split apart as soon as it was picked up. Hoping to give it another try but it will ne a VERY long time before we return. read more

Their hours listed online state that they are open until 8:00 PM but I arrived at 6:12 and was not greeted by anyone initially. I stood at the counter before being greeted by a worker that informed me they were closed. Not very friendly staff. This review is solely based on my experience with the staff, however I've heard that the food is pretty good. read more

I ordered a gyro lunch plate, and I ordered it with no onions. Apparently, "no onions" means "pile a ton on there", because my gyro was crammed full with onions. I'm allergic to onions and had to toss the entire thing in the garbage. read more

For a franchise HQ'd in Lafayette LA the menu, quality and taste is very good. For me The dolmathes had a great grape leaf texture and flavor. With the right amount of mint. The hummus was okay and the Gyros had great seasoning. read more

Tried Zuess for the first time today. I was very disappointed. Got there at 10:50 and was promptly waited on. Ordered the gyro combo. The sandwich was very dry as if the meat had turned way too long. There was very little sauce or lettuce to help with the dryness. Not sure if ill try again or not. read more

This is the best food in the Jackson Metro area. The food is always fresh and hot. It is served up quick and is already in a to-go plate because most people will not finish the large portions provided. The combo plate is the best and is a very healthy meal. The physical therapy place across the street from here told us about this place and how good it is. This is the second time we have been in 3 days! It is absolutely delicious. I got the #13 lamb and chicken combo and my husband got the #9. Portions are pretty good size... I can only eat half of what I have and I save the rest for later. I hate to even give this meal one star. I usually don't say things about restaurants but this meal was horrible! The meat both chicken and land was bone dry and the pita bread was like rubber. The only saving grace was the Greek sauce to douse the whole lot in to make it even eatable. Never again. read more

New to the area and wanted to eat something different for lunch. I saw this place and said lets give it a try. I not only enjoyed the food, but the service was amazing. The restaurant was clean and the environment was very welcoming. The next day I didn't just go back, I invited my close coworker to come with me!!! I stumbled onto this cute restaurant yesterday. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me decide what to try! My food was delicious and what's even better is they also serve yogurt with all the optional topping you can think of! Win win in my opinion, kids get yogurt and I get Lebanese/Greek. My food was served extremely fast, but was fresh and warm! So good and I'll be taking the trip again from Brandon to flowood just for this restaurant! read more

Another weekly stop for me. I have had a few issues where they should have been open when I got there (maybe 45min before closing) and they had shut down for the night. Despite that I always go back. The flavor and amount of food for the price makes it a favorite. Overall the combo plate is the best deal! read more
