I feel compelled to leave this review so that other people don't waste their hard earned money on a bad haircut. I believe his name is Sam and I think it's the second chair from the front. He claims to have been cutting hair for seven years. I attached pictures to show how bad he blended my hair from where it fades to the top where it is a little bit longer. Additionally, and worst of all he sliced me right above my ear about a half inch cut with the straight razor. For sanitary reasons he should have applied alcohol to disinfect, but he just denied what he did. He knows he cut me. He knows he did a bad job on my haircut. He should be ashamed of himself that he even accepted a dollar from me. read more

Sunday is probably the busiest day for barbers and these guys did not disappoint! Two of us came in the late afternoon just before close and our experience was spectacular! Not only was the price for a standard cut very reasonable and fair, but the wait time was short even with a full house. Our barber is professional, courteous, and knows how to work with normal to thin-looking hair! I showed my barber a picture of a previous cut I preferred and he performed a clean cut; the way I asked him to cut was spot on. After the cut, he performed the signature shave at the end, and I felt clean, fresh, and I did not feel any itchiness around my neck or behind my ears which is what I've experienced at other barber shops, not this one! There was the time I wondered onto a reservation unaware of the culture to the rez barbershop, the time my glasses were removed and I had no idea the destruction that was occurring, and then there was today. After spending 20 years in the military getting my hair cut all over the world this place is my home barbershop. They do razor cuts, boy cuts and older men's cuts too. So I seen all the good reviews and thought I would try this barbershop out. I sat down in the chair explain to the lady wood I need it very simple feed and take a 1/2 off the top. She blew through my sides with the clippers like she was ready to go home and enter day at 10:30 in the morning. I didn't stop her to look at my hair she cut with the clippers the top of my hair down to about 3/4 of an inch on the left side. I pointed out to her and she said you told me you wanted the sides cut. Then told me that she's been cutting hair for 23 years blah blah blah blah blah. Maybe if you don't blow through somebody's here and try and get a haircut done in 15 minutes and take some damn time you would do a better job! Absolute joke I'm 43 years old and get my haircut the same way for over 20 and this lady was rude screwed my hair up to the point where I just walked out middle And as you can see the shop doesn't care and laughed at my comment. This place is great. Let me put it this way. I use to live 5 mins away from here. I moved and now it's a 25 minute drive. I still come here and recommend this place to my friends. I've had my haircut by a few different people here but the outcome is always satisfactory. I've been coming here for about 2 years and i think I've only had a wait that exceed more than 10 mins once. Another big thing that i respect a lot and what keeps me coming back is a situation i ran into. I had my haircut at shaving grace down in Scottsdale because it was close to work and got it done on my lunch. Seemed fine but 2 weeks later i came back here and my barber inquired who had cut it, right? So i explained myself and he then pointed out the flaws and that if i continued with the same cut, it would ultimately need to be completely redone. He gave me the option of cutting it different that wouldn't look the best but it was necessary. I went with the suggestion and it was a pain for about a month but now my hair is great. Just moved to Phoenix from Cali 6 weeks ago and we found this Awesome old school barbershop... My son is very picky about his haircuts but when I brought my older son here the week before....I knew this was going to be my husband and boys new spot. Davo does a amazing job and Isaiah was very impressed..... I moved to the Phoenix area again in 1999. I have been looking for a real barber since. The great Johnny Gibson in Tucson cut my hair for years. I found the place, it is here and Jimmy is the dude. I asked for my regular haircut, 2 taper on sides, a little off the top, no spikes, blocked in back. Jim cut my hair to those specs. Never ran the clippers into my scalp, worked quick and efficiently. He then trimmed the brows, ears and nose. Finished with washing my hair. Excellent. After he had already started, I realized that it was a cash only business. Jimmy handled the fact that I did not have any with grace. I walked across to Circle K, purchased a coke and got a twenty spot for Jim. 16 dollar cut with a tip.
