When I politely asked for some hair product and to wash my hands, I was met with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. The haircut itself was even more disappointing. The barber seemed determined to rush through the appointment, attempting to finish my haircut in about 10 minutes. I had to stop him because I wasn't happy with the result and asked him to fix it. Throughout the entire appointment, he made no effort to engage in even basic conversation. I tried several times to be friendly, ask questions, and make the experience enjoyable, but received almost nothing in return. I paid $70 for a haircut and beard service, and I genuinely feel like I wasted my money. The beard trim, which cost $30, lasted no more than two minutes and looked like almost no work had been done. The entire appointment felt rushed, careless, and completely lacking in attention to detail. I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality, professionalism, and customer experience justify it. Unfortunately, none of those were present here. Instead, I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and regretting my decision to give this place a chance. With how difficult the economy is today, customers deserve businesses that appreciate their support and take pride in their work. Based on my experience, this barbershop fell far short of that standard. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone, and I will not be returning. I tried everything to talk him down and get him to come around to the idea. James was amazing, trying to get him excited but it just wasn't in the cards for us last night. James asked when I drop him off at school and offered to come in at 7am, THREE HOURS before they open to get my sons hair fixed up. We didn't need to be there till a bit later so 8am was totally doable for us and he insisted we come at 8am. Fast forward to the next morning (today). We got there at 8am and James was ready for us. My son was in a much better place and was happy to be there, but still a bit nervous. James was SO patient, kind, and even a little silly to get my son comfortable. He showed my son everything he was going to do, let him pick the comb color, the water bottle, etc to allow my son to feel like he was a part of the experience. James gave me some pomade and explained to me how to use it best to get my sons double cowlicks to sit down properly. And then.... He REFUSED to let me pay him for the hair cut OR the pomade. I practically begged to let me pay and he refused. He said he was happy to get my sons hair fixed up and give him a positive experience so he's excited to come back. Hair cuts have always been a touchy thing for my son, so thank you so much James and ALL the barbers there on Thursday evening who tried to help my son through the nerves. We will ABSOLUTELY be back for every haircut!

Nothing special. Save your money and go to great clips. I walked in and was not made to feel welcome. Immediately received an icy vibe that I was not wanted or welcome. Wasn't offered a beverage or any of the services I saw on the website. My appt was made online and I arrived a few minutes early. My barber was running later so I waited another 15 mins on the couch watching the sunday football game. He asked me if "I was ready" as if I was holding him up LOL. 10 mins later I was paying for a basic great clips haircut. After tip, it was $32. Not sure what the difference in haircut or experience is from a great clips or supercuts? I did like the old timey barbershop feel and that they had sports on the big screen tv. Other than that.... I won't be returning. When the barber was done cutting my hair he asked me if there "is anything else?" Apparently not! They should work on actually doing what they claim on their website. Stay away unless you like spending more money for a fast haircut and rude service. read more

Jeff and I were talking the other day and discovered I have been coming to see his dad, Steve, for over 20 years for haircuts. I have followed Steve through 3 of his own locations and now to Jeff's. Recently Steve has been out from behind his chair, I never once considered going anywhere else. Because in the past if Steve was busy Jeff would cut my hair. Now with Jeff having his own shop "Made Men" he has hired very good barbers. I have had the opportunity to have two of his barbers cut my hair and I have not been disappointed yet. Jeff has made "Made Men a barber shop not just a great place to get my haircut but he has made it a great place to spend time at before or after your appointment. If I do not have an appointment time (almost always) I can shoot pool, watch TV or just wait in his comfortable furniture. Great job Jeff, making "Made Men" not just a barber shop but a destination. I'm a bit picky on haircuts. I normally find a haircut place and a person I like there and only stick with them. I have that place but ventured out to MMB during my lunch break one day after running across their ad on IG. The spot is unique and looks to have a few things left to finish on the building but it's hardly noticeable. I booked online and walked right in for my apt. The 3 guys working were friendly and made sure the right person got my scheduled apt. The haircut was good, thorough and well done. My barber was talkative but didn't overdo it (which I like). I forgot my barbers name but I'll be looking for him again next time. They also offer a discount for your first cut and it's a good deal. I have been searching for a barber that can deliver a consistent cut for my baby boy's hair for 3 years. The Saturday before the first day of second grade my nephew took him to a shop that butchered my baby to hell. That's when I remembered that my friend had been telling me about Jeff. I went to Made Men and OMG! I found my baby's Enzo (Seinfeld reference) I will never take my boy to another barber again! My son loves him and so do I. I've had my haircut by over ten barbers here in the valley and Jeff has been the only one to provide a clean, consistent cut with great conversation. Many other barbers do sloppy jobs and just rush the haircut , don't get to enjoy the experience but Jeff isn't like that.
