I've been enjoying Zicks since I was a kid.  My dad would regularly get his deer processed here and get different things made from it.  My personal favorite will always be the Zicks sticks that are basically like a gourmet slim jim.  They are thick and loaded with flavor.  Whether you're looking for venison, bison, or alligator you'll find something to make your taste buds say "thank you".  If you are in the area I eould highly recommend coming here for really great meat products. read more

This place is game meat heaven. They make snacks with elk, alligator, pheasant, bison, buffalo, ostrich, venison, antelope, kangaroo, and beef. That's a lot of selection. Luckily Ive tried most of them and you can do so with a multipack, that has the majority of the meats in flavors of cajun. black pepper, mild, fire and bbq. OMG just found this place although we've had a home in the area for years. On my first visit a brisket had just come out of the smoker and got some for lunch plus a sampling of bacon and sausages and all are terrific. They had frozen smoked ribs and they were sooo good. Will be a loyal customer! read more

Zick's products are sold in many area stores, often under the "Buffalo Bob's" name. They sell their regular products here but we like to get the packages of the pieces from the end of a production run. Depending on the flavor, you get a 6oz-8oz package of product. They usually have a "buy 5 packages for $20" kind of special going. The Pemican style jerky (it's seasoned beef with pear and other fruit added) is excellent. I also tried the Bloody Mary flavored jerky at the recommendation of the staff there. It's seasoned with a bit of tomato and was very good. Great price, great flavors, and none of the bad ingredients. It's definitely worth a stop if you like beef jerky type products. read more

I've been buying Zick sticks locally and online for almost 2 years so when I found out they were made just 40min from where I live I had to make a trip to their store. When we arrived it smelled like heaven outside despite all the dang construction. While the store is pretty small it was stocked with everything we had come for! The venison and bison jerky are our favorites and even our 11month old son loves the jerky. I have a feeling I'll be making monthly trips here! read more
