If you can prove your case I suggest offering that proof to a manager. They will work with you to resolve your issues.

Website says they love to get feedback. Ok. Here you go. Received a $200 gift card for detailing last year because of terrible service. Took the car in this year for yearly touch up and cleaning. used the gift card. Wife picked up car and only the touch up was done. They neglected to clean the car. This time they said they would rent us a car over night if we brought it in again to get cleaned. After getting the run around, I finally got ahold of the manager who said they would clean the car and cover the car rental cost. Wife dropped off car and they gave her the rental. But then charged her $12 for insurance. Did not tell us that ahead of time. Picked up car the next day. Car was clean. Good job except for smudged windows. But definitely acceptable. Next week I checked bank statement. Found I was charged twice by enterprise car rental. Once $50. Once $2.60. So much for ziebarts promise of covering cost of rental car. We will never go back for anything again except for yearly touch up. Highly recommend you go to crown or some other rust proofing business. Ziebart service is a 1 out of 10. And I know because I work for a service department. UPDATE: After promising to reimburse us for the car rental cost within 24 hours, It still hasn't been done. I'm warning all now - find another place for rust protection. Ziebart's product may be good, but the customer service is horrible. Buyer beware. read more

Watch out and be wary! I went there for a very basic item for a vehicle that i had just purchased and before i knew it they had me cornered in a tiny cubicle with the most aggressive & high powered sales pitch i had experienced sine the 1970's. It was all about some multi-thousand dollar rip off with a special that supposedly expired THAT day at 5:00! I could not get out of there soon enough. All this for a vehicle that was freshly dealer prepped and like new. Watch out for these guys.... they prey on vulnerable people which is unfortunate. Nice waiting room lounge, so they come work you over with a second and third attempt to get you to give in to some silly treatment. Stay away. read more

I had my car detailed at the Canandaigua location. After being bombarded by an obnoxious, pushy salesman to spend more money on useless packages (which I declined), I left my car to be detailed, which apparently takes 5 hours. When I picked it up, it was obvious that they had not been very thorough when shampooing the upholstery. There were lines of dirt in between the clean spots where they did shampoo. There was also a sticky, pink substance that looked a lot like gum stuck to the textured plastic on the back of the seat (this took me over half an hour to mostly remove - I couldn't get it all off). They also stole a screwdriver from the car. read more

I brought my truck in for its yearly maintenance on undercoating and diamond gloss. Spent 20 mins dodging the high pressure sales pitch. Left my truck for the day after 2 hrs I received a phone call from them again trying to sell me other services. When i declined, the man on the phone started to get angry that i was not interested. Picked up my car after 5pm . Later i noticed that the entire hood of my truck was scratched to the point where it needs to be painted. Called them and informed them of what i found. They told me to bring it in for them to look at. When i did they offered me to paint it at there cost which would be around $300. My feeling is that they should have repaired at no cost to me since they did the damage. Do not bring your vehicle here. read more

I've been going to Ziebart since 2009, however, this is probably my last time after the customer service I received today from an employee named Nicco. He was the most condescending, patronizing, and quite frankly, gave me the back of his hand, with his "let me get your key" comment after stating to me that there was nothing he could do to help me out To fix my jeep. After dropping my Jeep off for its annual diamond gloss renewal, I was harassed not once, but twice, into getting the engine cleaned, an additional service for $199. I succumbed, as this was one of two Jeep's I was having serviced at this Canandaigua site in back to back days. upon picking up the Jeep, I found the check engine light on and beeping with the engine chugging. This was not happening with my Jeep when I dropped it off the day before! I immediately called back to Ziebart as I drove away only to have them say that they were closed and to bring it back tomorrow, something I could not do and needed the Jeep to drive that next day. I went to the nearest auto body shop and had them run the computer system check to determine that it was a cylinder 5 misfire and that the engine was not getting gas from that 5th cylinder. Perhaps it was wet from the cleaning or something was disrupted by this "cleaning" and would dry out. After asking to speak with the manager, I was told to take it to an authorized dealer to get it serviced. If that dealer writes up that it was serviced due to the engine cleaning that Ziebart had caused then Ziebart would pay for the cost of the repair. We'll see if they actually pay up! Never get your engine cleaned by Ziebart!! read more

I bought a car and they didn't fully detail like they should have as I still found dirty napkins in my car. Than a year later I brought my car to get the rust protection touched up for free and was able to get my car detailed again as I work at a vat clinic and a lot of hair gets trapped in my car. When detailing they lost one of my radio panel buttons cover for child safety lock. This is after I did not receive a call my car was done yet it was five minutes to close so I wanted to check in come to find out it was complete I get in and get about half way home which is about an hour drive and realize that button is missing so it's too late to call and it's a Saturday so I call Monday to ask about it. They told me I should have called sooner, when was I supposed to call? Than says he will look into it and get a hold of me. Never heard back so I called again got the same answer a few days later than about a week after I called again and the women asked me to send her photos personally and she would be in contact shortly and I never heard from her either. The costumer can only do so much. Personally I will not be getting my car detailed here again or be using Ziebart protection again either. read more

My family recently leased a new car and added a treatment plan and remote starter that were applied by Ziebart. The day after we brought the car home Ziebart called to schedulea pick up a few weeks later. At that time, they mentioned the treatment and we also verified the inclusion of the starter. After the car was picked up My Mother got a call from Dan Fahy. Mr. Fahy had noticed that ours was a black vehicle and recommended an upgraded package to include ceramic coating. Being realistic for a moment, I know sales people have a job that includes up-selling and this is not a package I would recommend to a straight leaser it is payable over a 3 year lease and covers for 10 years so for straight lease, you'd pay for protection that would be with the vehicle after you give it back. In our case however, as people leasing to buy out however, it makes sense to protect from the beginning and 3 years of payment for a decade of annual reapplied protection certainly makes sense. so we factored it out, found it affordable in our case, and agreed. During our conversation however we mentioned the starter and Mr. Fahy said he didn't see it on the order but that he would check with the dealership (a smart choice from Mr. Fahy's end as a lease still is owned by the dealer) when Mom hung up with Mr. Fahy we decided to immediately call our sales manager at the dealer and check ourselves...as quickly as the call went through we found that Mr. Fahy had already spoken with him and verified the starter. Lastly, although they close at 6:00 we didn't get our car back until 6:30ish. Initially this caused some concern, as the had left a car for the drop off driver to drive back but, had left us essentially without a car, for that day this had been planned for, but when it looked like they might return the car in the morning, as Ziebart's offices were closed, this spurred a call to a personal number Mr. Fahy had provided earlier. He checked with the techs and verified that they were finishing up and testing the starter and would be right along with both the car and the additional paperwork for the package upgrade all of which happened at our home smoothly soon after. So did everything go perfect? No, can I speak to the experience of someone with an older, previously untreated vehicle? or someone who didn't take the package ? Again no. However I can say that the treatment is in place everything works as it should so far and what hiccups there were, were handled by Mr. Fahy before they had to be handled by me. For my situation, at least for now, that's really all I can ask. read more

I took my truck in to get rustproofing and undercoating. I worked with Dan and he was able to work a deal with me for the top package. I received a call around 5:00pm the next day saying my truck was done. I headed there right around 5:30 as we were at a work picnic. When we were less than a mile away I received a call asking if we were coming to pick it up today. I said that I would be there in 30 seconds. The gentleman said he would speak to me when I arrived. When I walked in he proceeded to tell me that they had accidentally run over a screw and one of my tires was leaking. He was apologetic and gave me two options. I could have it fixed and they would pay for it or I could leave it and they would have it repaired in the morning. I chose to leave it and have that repaired the next morning. I did appreciate them giving me a choice as to where to get it repaired. The only complaint I had was that we drove 25 minutes to pick the truck up because it was done only to have to leave without it and make a second trip back the next day. Other than that, I was very pleased with how everything turned out. read more

One star is a star too many! Absolutely the worst thing that I ever could have done to my brand new truck! The original location "couldn't locate" my truck for several days, dented the door, incorrectly applied the Rhino lining so it had to be redone-(still peels off) promised me an upgraded plan for all of the trouble -but won't stand behind it. Why would I agree to a one time cleaning of a brand new truck for the damage they did to my truck? The spray on bed liner peels off and every year has to be "repaired" which instead of taking it off and doing a nice job they just peel off the large sections and reapply the spray. It looks like I used a paint brush to apply it. I was told because I have stone chips on the hood of the truck my warranty is void unless I pay to have the plastic crap put on it. I asked the salesman to show me my "stone chips" he couldn't find a single one and he tried hard to find one! I'm not sure what they "cleaned" my tires with but my white letters on my tires are now a dirty gray--gee thanks for that! The truck has water spots all over it I will definitely have to wash it this weekend to remove them. Just a heads up for people thinking about purchasing from Ziebart the warranty is useless -verbally I was told the application of rust proofing and paint protection would insure any problems would be taken care of --lifetime they told me! In my opinion, the written warranty,which I received after they took my money, is basically that if any claims need to be made you can fight to get a refund because they aren't going to take care of anything. The pushy high pressure sales tactics are not fair or honest. Stay far away- my truck would be worth more without the terrible services I paid to have done to it. read more

I have 2 cars that I got the rust protection, undercoating and Diamond Gloss finish. Got both of my cars back and there was mud in the wheel wells of both cars. Mud spit all over the tire, and along the side of the cars. I'm not sure where they take my vehicle to get washed but I'm thinking it isn't at the 2475 State Route 332, Canandaigua location. If it wasn't for the fact it is closer to my home to get these cars treated I would go to another location. In fact I think that is my best bet. The Lyle Ave location I can say when you get you car back it is extremely clean. They take the time to wash and treat your car nicely. I'm supposed to get the car cleaned with a clay bar and I'm not seeing the results as I did at Lyle Ave, Rochester. Way to pushy on the add on features from the salesman as well. They take each and every person that comes to the location for service and try to suck your money out of your pocket. Canandaigua is not the place for anything Ziebart has to offer. read more
